3M LAUNCHES ‘STAY FIT WITH THE BIFF’ CONTEST

CONCORD, N.C. (June 8, 2011) – This week 3M launched a “Stay Fit with the Biff” fitness contest which gives students in grades K-12 the chance to win $15,000 in gym equipment and 3M products for their school. Students, parents and teachers can visit www.3M.com/fitnesscontest to submit a short essay about why physical fitness is important to them and their school. Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, and his pit crew, the 3M Pit Bulls, are helping with the contest by posting their own fitness tips on the contest website.

“We can’t wait to read the essays that are submitted for the ‘Stay Fit with the Biff’ contest,” said Biffle. “Fitness is a big part of being successful in our sport and we felt that it was an important message to share with kids across the country. 3M is offering a tremendous opportunity for one school to really step up its fitness program by one of its students, parents or teachers submitting the winning essay. I hope that by talking about the contest and providing tips on the website, the message will spread and we can all stay fit together.”

The top five essays will be selected as semi-finalists and submitted for a vote by visitors to the website. The semi-finalist with the highest number of votes will be deemed the grand-prize winner. Essays must be received by September 30th and the essays of the five semi-finalists will be posted for a public voting period from October 11th through October 31st.

THREE-TIME POCONO RACEWAY WINNER LABONTE SET FOR TRICKY TRIANGLE RETURN

LONG POND, Pa. (June 8, 2011) – – The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series arrives at Pocono Raceway’s 2.5-mile Tricky Triangle for the 14th race of the season this weekend.

For Bobby Labonte, who is racing the No. 47 Clorox Toyota on Sunday, he figured out how to trick the competition three times for trips to victory lane with Joe Gibbs Racing. He swept both races in 1999 and won again in July 2001.

“I’ve had a lot of success at Pocono,” said Labonte, who has five top-five and nine top-10 finishes in addition to his three victories at Pocono. “It’s a strange track with obviously three distinct type corners. Some people choose to make Turn 3 the main corner they concentrate on with straightaway speed. I think that’s true for most people’s case. This year NASCAR is letting us go back to a gear-ratio that we can shift with that’s different from the past and a lot of guys haven’t done that there. This race this time will have more wear and tear on equipment than we have seen in the past couple of years – – as far as reliability with transmissions and engines go. So, we have to be prepared for that. It’s a matter of the durability of our equipment, to make sure it is as durable as possible to handle it for 500 miles.”

Crew chief Frank Kerr and his JTG Daugherty Racing team are looking forward to going to Pocono with a three-time winner at one of the most unique tracks on the circuit boasting three distinct corners and straighaways varying in length.

“It is a challenging track setup wise because the three corners are so different,” Kerr said. “So, you have to pick whether you want to get through Turn 1 better or if you want to work on Turn 3 more. It’s an interesting place for the drivers and crew chiefs to figure out a setup that works on both ends. The track is getting rougher too because of Mother Nature.”

“It’s good to have a guy like Bobby that has experience,” Kerr continued. “As Bobby mentioned, NASCAR is allowing us to change our ratios in our transmissions so we can shift this year. We will probably shift twice around the track. That is how it was back when Bobby won those races. Having the experience of knowing that you can shift and where to shift will help along with taking care of the motor.”

Kerr knows his team needs a shot in the arm following some tough weeks.

“We have not been running good these past few weeks and we are working hard to improve everyday and focusing on making our aero package better,” Kerr said. “Right now, all three teams (JTG Daugherty Racing and Michael Waltrip Racing) are doing everything possible to run better. It’s not just our teams facing this; there are a number of great teams that are looking to get more competitive right now. We know we are a little behind, but we are not sitting still and we are working on things.”

Labonte supports Kerr and his JTG Daugherty Racing team on figuring out what may have went wrong in the most recent events to make it right moving forward and vice versa.

“We left Kansas scratching our heads as far as what happened,” Labonte said. “We thought we were fairly decent in practice and then ended up with a way different race car in the race than we anticipated. There’s definitely a concern of how that happened and why it happened. We’ve looked at a lot of different things. The aero package is one thing and a couple things we tried differently. We thought we were gaining at Kansas, but we were not. We might have to take a couple steps back to figure out what we did wrong and make it right.”

Switching gears from performance to appearances, yesterday Labonte had a successful turnout at his Bobby Labonte Foundation golf tournament benefiting Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) raising $107,000.

“This was our first year partnering with JDRF and it was a great first step,” said Labonte. “We met our goals, exceed them actually, and everyone had fun doing it. I can’t thank all the sponsors enough who donated and all the celebrities who took time out of their day to come out and play. We’re looking to make it even better next year.”

Tonight, Labonte is racing in the seventh annual Prelude to the Dream all-star dirt Late Model race at the half-mile Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, which is benefiting four of the nation’s top children’s hospitals – – Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, N.C., Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Children’s Medical Center Dallas. Labonte is on Team St. Louis along with Kyle Busch, Kasey Kahne, Justin Allgaier, Kenny Wallace, Ron Hornaday and Ricky Carmichael. This year’s Prelude to the Dream is a team event. The race is carried this evening on HBO Pay-Per-View, 8 p.m. EDT (5 p.m. PDT). Ordering information and up-to-the minute racing information is available at either www.PreludeToTheDream.org or www.HBO.com.

“It’s a good time,” Labonte said. “Everybody is as competitive as you could imagine. It’s for fun and for a great cause, but oh by the way, we are all here to win. It’s a fun night, but competitive for everyone. We are going up there to help Tony (Stewart) raise money for four children’s hospitals and just being a part of it is special. I’ve been lucky to race in the Prelude to the Dream for a few years. I always enjoy it and wish we could do more.”

Thursday before wheels are up on the team plane out of Statesville, N.C., Labonte, K&N Pro Series East driver Coleman Pressley and JTG Daugherty Racing are visiting Barium Springs Home for Children only minutes away in hopes of bringing awareness to local children that struggle with a background of abuse, neglect and poverty.

“We’re looking forward to spending the day with the children and we’ve got a full fun day of activities prepared for them,” Labonte said. “We’re taking our entire team up there to perform live pit stops and we are making it a career day too. This visit is for the children to have fun and at the same time tell people in our community how they can donate or volunteer. For more information, visit

  • Toyota NASCAR Notes & Quotes Pocono – Texas

TOYOTA NASCAR NOTES & QUOTES Week of June 6 – June 12, 2011 TOYOTA

TIDBITS HAMLIN HAD THE FUEL:  Denny Hamlinwas the highest finishing Camry driver with a third-place result in Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Kansas Speedway.  Hamlin started 15th and led the field three times for 34 laps (of 267) in the Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) No. 11 FedEx Freight Camry.  Hamlin was running at the front of the field when he was forced to make a pit stop during a mid-race caution to make adjustments on his Camry.  In the closing laps, the 30-year- old Chesterfield, Va.-native had enough fuel to make it to the finish when other drivers had to pit.   Hamlin has earned four top-10 finishes in the last five races to move up six spots into the top-12 in points and is now just one point from 10th-place in the NSCS championship point standings.

WINDY CITY RECAP:  In Saturday night’s NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Chicagoland Speedway, Kenny Wallacewas the first Camry driver to the finish line with a seventh-place result in the 200-lap race.  Wallace’s result in Saturday’s race was his fifth top-10 of the 2011 season, and his third top-10 in the last four races.  Kelly Bires (eighth) made his second appearance of the season in the JGR No. 18 Camry.  Michael Annett (ninth) also earned a top-10 finish in his Toyota — his first top-10 result in 2011.

SEASON BEST FOR BODINE:  In the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race at Kansas Speedway, Todd Bodinewas the highest finishing Tundra driver with a third-place result.  Bodine started 10th in the Germain Racing No. 30 NTB/Valvoline Tundra and led twice for nine laps (of 167) .  The third-place result marked Bodine’s best finish of the season.  The defending series champion also earned a third-place result at Darlington Raceway in March.  Tundra drivers Busch(sixth), Brendan Gaughan(seventh) and Travis Kvapil(10th) also earned top-10 results in Saturday’s race.

HAMLIN HAS HANDLE:  Hamlin’sracing resume has more NSCS wins at Pennsylvania’s Pocono Raceway than any other track on the circuit.  His winning ways at Pocono began during his rookie season in 2006 when Hamlin earned the win from the pole  in both NSCS races held at the Pennsylvania track — which included his first career Cup Series victory (June 2006).  The 30-year-old earned his third win at Pocono in August 2009 when he crossed the finish line first after leading 91 laps (of 200).  Hamlin was dominant again last summer, leading 88 laps (of 204) to bring home his fourth victory in last June’s rain-delayed race.  The driver of the JGR No. 11 FedEx Camry has tallied a total of seven top-five and eight top-10 finishes in his 10 career NSCS starts around the 2.5-mile triangular track.

Among active drivers, he is tied with Jeff Gordon for the most victories (four) at Pocono, while semi-retired driver Bill Elliott has five wins at the track.

TUNDRAS AT TEXAS: Tundra drivers have nine NCWTS race wins at Texas Motor Speedway since entering the series in 2004.  Tundra driver Bodine has the most Truck Series victories at the mile-and-a-half track with six (Oct. 2004, Nov. 2005, June 2006, June 2007, June 2009 and June 2010), along with one pole position.  NCWTS team owner Busch (Nov. 2009 and Nov. 2010) has two wins at the Texas track and former Toyota driver Ted Musgrave (Nov. 2007) has a single win at the circuit.

NOTES, QUOTES & NUMBERS NASCARSprintCupSeries(NSCS):  Since the start of the 2011 season, Toyota drivers have combined for two victories, 13 top-five results, 28 top-10 finishes and have led 1,381 laps … After 13 races, Kyle Busch is fifth in the NSCS point standings, trailing leader Carl Edwards by 60 points … Denny Hamlin (11th) and Kasey Kahne (18th) are also in the top-20 in the standings …… Shaun Peet, jackman and pit crew captain for the No. 83 Red Bull Camry,  was a defenseman for the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins (hockey) during the 2001 season  … Bryan Jacobsen, the No. 83 front tire changer, is from Honesdale, Pa., … Twin brothers from Warren, Pa., work alongside each other on the Red Bull Racing Team Camrys — Scott Munksgard is the shock specialist on the No. 83 Camry, and his twin brother Lance is the pit crew coach for both Red Bull teams.

DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 FedEx Ground Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing Why have you had so much success at Pocono? “It’s tough to say, I mean, because we’ve won there in different cars, different lines.  The patch is no longer a huge advantage like it used to be in turn three and I run a much different line than what other guys run.  I don’t know.  I just search around and seem to find what works.  The thing is, though, I’ve got cars good enough to where I can run 80 percent all day and still be able to keep up with the guys.  That’s what makes it easy for me to look really good is the fact that I don’t have to push my car over the limit and it still has speed.”

DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 FedEx Ground Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing (continued) What are your goals for the next 13 races before the Chase starts? “My goal right now, if I had to set out where I want to be going into Richmond — I’d like to be top-five in points.  Fifth is a good number and a feasible goal where we can reach.  If we go on a run and win every race, sure we can be first, but a feasible goal is to be top-five so we don’t have to race our way into Richmond.  That’s the goal.  We don’t want to have to go to Richmond and still not know whether we’re going to be in the Chase or not.  We need to be consistent and we need to learn how to finish races consistently in the top-five, not top-10 — top-five.  Obviously, we are getting better and our cars are getting better.  I’m pretty sure we’re going to be good and in that position when we get to Richmond and not panicking whatsoever.   We’ve made up a lot of distance in these last few weeks, so we have to keep that going.”

JOEY LOGANO, No. 20 Home Depot Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing Do you enjoy racing at Pocono? “I’ve ran really good there and I’ve run really bad there.  I’ve been kind of confused there before.  I like it.  I think it’s fun.   It’s really interesting because you have three way different corners, so trying to get your car to handl e good in all three corners is really tough.  Trying to figure all that out and racing there is fun.  You have that long straightaway in the front and even the one down Long Pond is really, really long too.  It’s always good racing there and on restarts, it’s nuts because you can go four and five-wide into turn one, so it’s a lot of fun.”

NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS):  Since the start of the 2011 season, Toyota drivers have combined for six wins, 17 top- five results, 36 top-10 finishes and have led 1,120 laps … Kenny Wallace (seventh) is the top Toyota driver in the NNS point standings … Steve Wallace (eighth), Brian Scott (ninth), Michael Annett (1 0th) and Joe Nemechek (12th) are also in the top-15 in the standings… The NNS will enjoy a weekend off before returning to action June 18 at Michigan International Speedway.

MICHAEL ANNETT, No. 62 Pilot Flying J Toyota Camry, Rusty Wallace Racing How do you feel about your finish at Chicagoland? “I’m really proud of my guys. We finally got a finish we deserve, and this should be the perfect momentum-builder for the season ahead.  We unloaded one of the best cars I’ve had all season, and we consistently got better throughout practice sessions and the race. This season’s start hasn’t played out quite as expected, but our ninth-place finish proves that we’ve taken a turn in the right direction.  I definitely think we’re on the path to contending with the top-10 week-in and week-out, so I look forward to the rest of the season.”

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS):  Since the start of the 2011 NCWTS season, Tundra drivers have registered six wins, 13 top-five results, 24 top-10 finishes and have led 631 laps … Timothy Peters (fifth), Todd Bodine (ninth), Brendan Gaughan (10th), Max Papis (12th) and David Starr (14th) are currently in the top-15 in the point standings … Gaughan recorded four consecutive NCWTS wins at Texas Motor Speedway (June and Nov. 2002, June and Nov. 2003) … Texas native David Starr is sponsored by privately-owned, San-Antonio-based Zachry … Texas is home to Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Texas (TMMTX) … The production facility, which is located in San Antonio, opened in November of 2006 and produces both the Toyota Tundra and Tacoma pickup trucks … The facility employs almost 2,300 Toyota team members and represents an investment of more than $2 billion

TODD BODINE, No. 30 NTB/Valvoline Toyota Tundra, Germain Racing How confident are you racing at Texas? “We always feel like we can go win at Texas any time we race there.  Goodyear’s coming back with a different tire, so the advantage we had with the old setup for our Tundra is one we’ll have to work on with the tire change.  We’ll just have to work hard to get our Toyota to go as fast as it normally is.”

BRENDAN GAUGHAN, No. 62 Big Red Toyota Tundra, Germain Racing What is your mindset for Texas where you won four races in a row earlier in your career? “I think there’s one other NASCAR driver to accomplish four consecutive wins at Texas Motor Speedway, but he hasn’t done it in a truck.  Kyle Busch built a five-in-a-row streak in the Nationwide Series, but he’s only working on a two race winning streak in trucks.  We need to get our names on the trophy this Friday night.  Texas has always been a great track for me.  Texas feels different than any other race track because of the history there. It feels great to show up at Texas, knowing that we are capable of winning with our Big Red Tundra, but, it’s a double-edged sword.  If I have a bad race at Texas, it makes it that much worse.”

  • Racing at Texas is Special for David Starr

Racing at Texas is Special for David Starr

David Starr has spent the last fourteen seasons racing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Over those years the Lone Star native has dreamed of visiting victory lane at the Texas Motor Speedway, a place he calls home. David has accumulated 274 career starts including 25 at Texas where his dream still eludes him.

Living a short distance from the track, Starr boasts a huge fan base in his home state. He has a very engaged Texas-based sponsor in Zachry and this weekend another Texas organization; The Boot Campaign will join the SS Green Light Racing team bringing added enthusiasm to the popular veteran driver when he takes the green flag on Friday night in the Winstar World Casino 400k.

“Coming back to Texas is always fun, its my home-track. The facilities are awesome and it’s just a great place to race,” the enthusiastic Starr said. “The fans are great here in Texas, I think some of the biggest crowds we’ve ever had in the Truck Series have come at Texas.”

“I’m always excited to race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series each week, but after just a so-so race last week at Kansas we are certainly looking forward to redeem ourselves as a team and perform better,” Starr continued. “I’m glad to be back home because it’s going to be an exciting race for the fans. If we can have it our way, we’re going to have the Zachry Toyota up front. I’m excited about it.”

“It’s real cool to have the Boot Campaign come on board with us for their first race. It’s exciting to have a military presence on the Zachry truck. I’m going to be wearing my boots across the stage before the race to support the Boot Campaign and our military forces. I think Brendan Gaughan who is a good friend and a great competitor is going to wear a pair of boots along with me across the stage. We are thrilled to be part of an organization that makes such a commitment to our returning solders.”

“With every pair of boots sold a portion goes to help a wounded warrior. It’s just a great charity; it’s an honor to be part of it along with everyone at SS Green Light Racing. It’s pretty cool and a big honor for all of us.”

“I used to live five minutes from the race track, I could see the grandstands from my deck but we moved a little while back and now I’m about a half an hour away,” he continued. “I’m proud to say that Texas is my home track. My family has run a driving school there since day one and Eddie Gossage and Ken Nelson have been great friends. A lot of my family, people that I have driven for in the past and people who have given me opportunities will be in the stands. It’s a special place to come race.”

“If we can ever get back to victory lane, there would be no better place to do it than the Texas Motor Speedway.”

David has 25 starts at the Texas Motor Speedway, the most of any track over his 14-year NCWTS career. David has seven top-fives and eleven top-tens including a fifteenth place finish last year in the SS Green Light Racing #81. He has with an average start of 13.4 and an average finish of 13.1.

The Winstar World Casino 400k is the 254th consecutive NCWTS start for the SS Green Light Racing team and the 274th career start for Starr in the Truck Series. David has accumulated four wins, 45 top-fives and 109 top-tens in his career.

There are 35 trucks on the preliminary entry list for the Winstar World Casino 400k.

Practice for the NCWTS Winstar World Casino 400k will be Thursday, June 9th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with qualifying at 6:00 p.m. The green flag will fall on the Winstar World Casino 400k Friday, June 10th at 8:00 pm. • Smith Aims to Tame Another Challenging Track

Smith Aims to Tame Another Challenging Track

DENVER, Colo. (June 8, 2011) — All the prerace chatter about Pocono Raceway’s three-turn configuration, the long straightaway or the much anticipated tunnel turn doesn’t faze Regan Smith.

“This is NASCAR and we want to have challenging and unique tracks to race at; it would be pretty boring if all the venues where identical,” said Smith, as he gets ready for Sunday’s 5-Star Energy 500 at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pa.

Smith, driver of the No. 78 Furniture Row Chevrolet, knows about challenging and unique race tracks. His victory on May 7 at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway is considered one of the most challenging as it continues to live up to its moniker — The Track Too Tough To Tame.

“I like the idea of going to a different-style track,” stated Smith. “You have your favorites and there are some tracks that might not suit your style the best or that might wear on your psyche a little. But overall I like them all. A negative approach about a facility can only hinder your performance.”

Although he has only competed in five-career races at the 2.5-mile Pocono Raceway, Smith’s main concern in not about the track, but finding more consistency with his No. 78 Furniture Row team.

“Pocono is where we need to start nailing down consistent finishes in our Furniture Row Chevrolet,” said Smith. “Lately, it’s been one good race, one bad race. You can’t have that, we need to start stringing some good results together. The potential is there, but we need to avoid mistakes and mechanical issues.”

After his win at Darlington, Smith’s next race at Dover produced a 34th-place finish due to a broken track bar mount. He came back strong at Charlotte, finishing eighth. But slipped last week in Kansas with a 24th-place result.

“If we can have an error-free race I feel we can come out of Pocono with a strong finish,” noted Smith. “We were decent there last year, and after only five career races at Pocono I am understanding the tunnel turn and the configuration of the track much better.”

Last year in his fourth and fifth career starts at Pocono, Smith posted finishes of 18th and 21st.

Gaughan Debuting No. 62 Big Red Tundra in Texas

Gaughan drives the No. 62 South Point Hotel & Casino Tundra He is an 8-time winner in the Truck Series Gaughan won in the GT class in the Rolex 24 at Daytona this year Gaughan has 13 NCWTS races at Texas including a four-race win streak

Mooresville, N.C. (June 7, 2011) – Brendan Gaughan, the No. 62 Tundra and Germain Racing crew will showcase a fresh, bright red look as they unload their Toyota truck at Texas Motor Speedway this week for Friday night’s 167-lap NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. Gaughan will commandeer the No. 62 Big Red Tundra—an appropriate fit for a four-time winner at Texas to proudly bear the colors of an Austin , TX , company.

“Big Red is on the No. 62 Tundra this week. I couldn’t be more excited to have a sponsor and they couldn’t have picked a better race for me. As I’ve said all season, Texas is a race I’ve been looking forward to racing with this Germain Racing team, and, I hope Todd and I can be there at the end, battling it out for a win between Germain teammates. It would make for a great race for our Texas sponsor, Big Red,” said Gaughan, whose familiar South Point Hotel & Casino logos will be present on the bed rails of his Big Red Tundra.

Visiting Texas , and doing well there, is more than a racing habit for Las Vegas native Gaughan. It’s a matter of family pride.

“ Texas has always been a great track for me. It’s near one of my mother’s horse ranches. My family likes to be known as a bunch of cowboys, so it’s important for me to run well there. I think next to our hometown track in Las Vegas , Texas is the most important venue on the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule to my dad,” explained Gaughan.

The winning Gaughan has done at Texas certainly raises his expectations, and those of his Germain Racing teammates.

“ Texas feels different than any other race track because of the history there,” said Gaughan, whose 4 Texas wins added to the team’s 7 brings the trophy count to eleven heading into Friday’s event. “It feels great to show up at Texas , knowing that we are capable of winning with our Big Red Tundra, but, it’s a double-edged sword. If I have a bad race at Texas , it makes it that much worse.”

Watch Gaughan in the No. 62 Big Red Tundra on Friday, June 10th, at Texas Motor Speedway on SPEED. Coverage begins with the NCWTS Setup at 8:30 PM Eastern followed by live racing at 9:00 PM. Not in front of a TV? Tune your radio to your local MRN affiliate.

  • Kory Rabenold Planning To Make Best Of Pocono Opportunity

LONG POND, Pennsylvania (June 8, 2011) – – Slatington, Pennsylvania native Kory Rabenold will return to ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards competition this weekend after a two-year hiatus in Saturday’s Pocono ARCA 200 at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway.

The return of Kory Rabenold Racing (KRR) and Rabenold himself to the track couldn’t have come at a better time. Leaning on his hometown track and the gracious support of his family-owned team, Rabenold looks for a solid finish that could potentially open some doors for future races down the road.

Rabenold in his No. 03 RabenoldRacing.com / Buzzy’s Auto BodyChevrolet Impala will make his 24th career ARCA start and seventh overall at the 2.5-mile triangle. In those previous six outings, the 22-year old has delivered three top-20 finishes including a solid 12th in his inaugural Pocono (Pa.) Raceway debut in 2007.

“We’re just thankful to be heading to the track this weekend,” said Rabenold. “It’s because a lot of dedication, time and effort that we’re able to get on the track this weekend. We don’t have a lot of sponsorship but in order to get sponsors, you have to be visible and try and stand out from the rest. That’s our goal this weekend. We’re going to the track with a story and hoping for a good finish that could allow us to come back in August.”

With father Buzzy Rabenold calling the shots as crew chief, the family-owned team knits together for round seven of the season knowing that returning to Pocono (Pa.) Raceway on their own platform is exactly the way he started his ARCA career.

“When I first came to Pocono in 2007, it was our family owned team. We had some sponsorship because the economy was better. We qualified 22nd, stayed out of trouble and finished 12th. It was a good day. Hopefully we can stay out of trouble and have a similar performance on Saturday.”

This family-owned team turned to another ARCA family-owned team in the ARCA Racing Series for some advice on their automobile. Sheltra Motorsports, the 2010 ARCA Racing Series championship organization recently assisted KRR.

“We’re extremely thankful to Jon (Wolfe) and Sheltra Motorsports for giving us some assistance. It’s always nice to have a caliber team like that, take some time for us. We may not have the same type of equipment that they won the championship with, but one thing is for sure, we have their same determination and passion!”

Kory Rabenold Racing would like to thank the following local marketing partners who have leaped aboard the team’s Chevrolet bowtie for Saturday’s contest: Buzzy’s Auto Body, Dynamite Woodworking, Mama’s Pizza of Slatington PA, Springhouse Eye Care, Ecco Communications, Brooksy’s Beers & Barrels Drive Thru, Interstate Batteries of Allentown and Thomson’s Meat Market.
