QUOTES
Carl Edwards on racing at Watkins Glen International: “We had a very strong road course car at Watkins Glen last year, but we didn’t get the finish we wanted. I can’t wait to get back there and into my No. 60 Fastenal Mustang this weekend and tackle The Glen and its eleven turns and banking. It’s always challenging and I really like it a lot. The fans are great, the area is beautiful and the track is demanding. I’m looking forward to it and I plan on coming out of there with a very solid finish. A win there would be big.”
Crew chief Mike Beam on racing at Watkins Glen International: “Watkins Glen is a track where we will focus on fuel mileage, brakes, and handling. Road courses are tough because there are only certain areas to pass and/or set up your competitors. We will try to keep our Fastenal Ford up front and avoid any trouble which is typical road course racing.”
