THE QUOTES
Ricky Stenhouse Jr., No. 6 RickyvsTrevor.com Ford Mustang: “My thought process is that I’ve got to get used to the track. I’ve never been to Watkins Glen, haven’t made one lap on it other than a video game. That’s really all I’ve done. I’ve got to thank Jack and everyone that’s helping out with that program to get David [Ragan] and I extra laps there so hopefully he can make the Chase and we can make a run at the championship. I’m going to get to drive Jack’s Grand Am car there to get some more laps and try to get up to speed a little quicker. We’re going to take the same plan as what we took to Road America. We want a top-10, no matter if we lose points. We just want a top-10 from both of the road courses and get out of there. Track time is everything and it doesn’t really matter what car you’re in.
IS THE WATKINS GLEN RACE NOW A BIG WILD CARD FOR YOU? “It’s not any more of a wild card than a speedway race, Road America or Montreal. I’m not great at a road course yet but I haven’t had a lot of time at ‘em.”
