Lofton Focuses on the Championship… With just nine races left in the 2012 season, Lofton has his eyes focused on the championship. The 26-year-old has been working tirelessly to prepare himself mentally and physically both on and off the track. After the race at Bristol Motor Speedway, Lofton spent his weekend on his Felt bicycle mountain biking in and around the mountains of Boone, N.C. Additionally, the driver has been working closely with Dr. Nick Sutton, a sports psychologist and the jackman on the No. 6 J6INK Chevrolet, to learn to target his focus and mentally prepare for the grueling competition in the NCWTS.
Weekend Warriors TV Premiers a New Music Video… Weekend Warriors TV, Lofton’s production company, continues to experience success as it gains recognition throughout the country music scene. With Brett Bortle behind the camera, Weekend Warriors TV recently filmed a music video for Darrell Harwood’s “Crime I Didn’t Do,” which will debut this week at a video premier party in Charlotte, N.C. The premier will be held at Whiskey River at the EpiCenter in uptown Charlotte. The event begins at 8:00 p.m. ET and is open to the public without a cover charge. The video for “Crime I Didn’t Do” will be released to the public nationally on September 2nd.
The Action Heats Up as the Summer Winds Down… With five races scheduled over the next six weeks, the battle is on for the NCWTS championship. Lofton enters Jeff Foxworthy’s Grit Chips 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the fourth position, just 31 points out of the championship point lead, and six points behind third place. The 26-year-old led the standings through three events earlier this season, and notched both his first career win and first career pole during a career-best year. Nine races remain in the NCWTS season before a champion is crowned at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway.
Meet Justin… Justin Lofton, driver of the No. 6 J6INK Chevrolet Silverado, will make an appearance with his Eddie Sharp Racing (ESR) teammates Cale Gale and Max Gresham on Friday afternoon at the Chevy Stage. Located in the midway, fans are invited to meet the ESR driver lineup at 2 p.m. ET. The drivers will participate in a brief Q&A session before signing autographs and taking photos with fans.

Watch and Listen… The battle for the championship continues this weekend as competitors of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series take on Atlanta Motor Speedway on Friday, August 31. In a busy one-day show, SPEED will bring the action to the fans with a broadcast of final practice (1:00 p.m. ET) and qualifying (4:30 p.m. ET) on Friday afternoon. Live coverage of the Jeff Foxworthy’s Grit Chips 200 will be aired on SPEED, MRN & SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90, beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The No. 6 J6INK Chevrolet team will compete with chassis No. 044 as their primary truck at Atlanta Motor Speedway. It is the same chassis the team attempted to race earlier this season at Pocono Raceway.
