ADVANCE NOTES
· Pastrana at Chicagoland
o Travis Pastrana will make his third NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Chicagoland Speedway this weekend. In his previous two starts at the 1.5-mile track, Pastrana finished 17th (2011) and 18th (2012).
· The Car
o Chassis RK-740 will make its third start of the season this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway. This chassis previously raced at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway, finishing 10th and 33rd, respectively. This chassis was also slated as the primary for Indianapolis Motor Speedway, before a qualifying accident forced the team to a backup car.
· Recapping Richmond
o For the second consecutive week, Pastrana had one of his strongest runs to date. After starting 22nd, he worked his way into the top-10, running as high as eighth, before contact on a late-race restart dropped Pastrana back. The No. 60 ultimately finished 20th.
o He remains 14th in the NNS point standings.
