This will make Newberry’s first-career start at the Avondale, Arizona track.

While this is Newberry’s first-career NCWTS start at Phoenix, he has competed in the NASCAR K&N Pro West Series, winning a pole-starting position in 2011 and has a best finish of sixth in 2010.
Last week at Texas Motor Speedway, Newberry made his second start of the season at the 1.5-mile track where he qualified in the 18th position and after 147 laps, crossed the finish line with a strong 13th-place finish.
Qore-24 will serve at the primary sponsor for Newberry and the No. 24 Chevrolet Silverado team in the Lucas Oil 150 at Phoenix International Raceway. The Phoenix-based track is the home base for Qore-24 located in Tempe, Arizona.

Catch the Lucas Oil 150 from Phoenix International Raceway on MRN, Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90 and Fox Sports 1 on Friday, November 8, beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET with the race set to start at 8:00 p.m. ET.From the Driver’s Seat with Brennan Newberry’s Knowledge:

“Phoenix International Raceway is special to me for many reasons. Many of my racing heroes have raced and won at Phoenix. I won my first NASCAR pole there, and Phoenix is the headquarters for my sponsor Qore-24. The two different corners and the fast dogleg makes Phoenix a track unlike any other. This will be my fourth race at the track, but my first in the NCWTS. I’m looking forward to hard racing at PIR and seeing my family and supporters in the stands this weekend.”

From the Box with Crew Chief Eddie Pardue:

“Phoenix is always a great place to go race with a very technical fast track and a nice area. Good memories there for me with a lot of strong runs and a win with Greg Biffle. Brennan also likes Phoenix, having been there in the K&N series, so hopefully that helps him in the truck. We have a plan with plenty of practice time to get a fast set up for the weekend and also build our notebook for next year.”
