Regaining speed on a superspeedway… Jimmy Weller is a big fan of superspeedway racing. After recording a career-best ninth-place finish in the season-opening race at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, Weller is hoping to repeat that run in his No. 08 Geneva-Liberty Steel Chevrolet Silverado this weekend. Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race will be Weller’s first race of any kind at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway.

Co-founded by the NASCAR driver himself, WHGCD offers comprehensive services that include everything from design work, remodeling and alterations, to permitting, site preparation, carpentry, cement foundations, painting, plumbing and utilities. The Hubbard, Ohio-based company works primarily with commercial construction and renovation clients, handling their projects from start to finish.
Raising Awareness for Childhood Cancer… After partnering with Joedance Film Festival throughout the month of September to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer, Jimmy Weller will continue to highlight the cause this weekend on his No. 08 Geneva-Liberty Steel Chevrolet Silverado. Two gold handprints with the words “Childhood Cancer Awareness” will be visible just in front of the rear tires on Weller’s truck to help raise funds and awareness for this important cause.
Meet Jimmy Weller… Fans at Talladega Superspeedway will have two opportunities to meet Jimmy Weller, driver of the No. 08 Geneva-Liberty Steel Chevrolet Silverado, throughout the race weekend. First, Weller will appear at The Chevy Stage at 11:45 a.m. on Friday morning. Following a brief Q&A session with the crowd, Weller will sign autographs for the fans in attendance. Later that afternoon, Weller will join the rest of the stars of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series during a series autograph session. The event will take place from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. under the OV Hill South Grandstands, sections D & E.

Jimmy Weller and the No. 08 Geneva-Liberty Steel Chevrolet Silverado team will compete with chassis No. 1117 on Saturday at Talladega Superspeedway. It is the same truck that Weller drove to a career-best finish of ninth earlier this year at Daytona International Speedway.
