Huntersville, NC (Oct. 23, 2011) – In his fifth NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) start at Talladega Superspeedway, Jason White brought home Joe Denette Motorsports its second top-five of the 2011 season, finishing fifth in the Coca-Cola 250 presented by Fred’s on Saturday evening. The solid effort was the veteran driver’s career-best finish at the 2.5-mile superspeedway.

Starting 19th, White got shuffled back in the opening laps of 94-lap event. Utilizing pit strategy, the series veteran moved back up to the front and maintained his position inside the top-15 for the remainder of the evening.

With less than 10 laps remaining in the event, White teamed up with the No. 5of Todd Bodine and together, the two made a sprint to the finish. Because of that final push, White crossed the finish line in the fifth position behind race winner, Mike Wallace.

Jason White Quotes:

“This race was all about having a ‘dancing partner’ and the two KHI trucks really showed everyone that tonight. I wanted to hook up with Todd (Bodine) a lot sooner, but it just never worked out. We finally got to each other with less than 10 laps to go and man were we good together. I really feel like if that last caution flag wouldn’t have come out, we really could have had it. We got a run on the high-side and we were coming, fast. It was a solid night for this GunBroker.com team; we stayed out of trouble, came home in one piece and had a solid finish. I had fun.”
