Deciphering Odds: A Beginner’s Roadmap to Betting with the Jeetwin App

Betting is an exhilarating pastime that combines strategy, intuition, and a touch of luck. For beginners, navigating the world of betting can be overwhelming, especially when faced with unfamiliar terms like odds. This guide aims to demystify odds, providing you with a solid foundation to kickstart your betting journey. And what better way to begin than by leveraging a user-friendly platform like the Jeetwin app?

    I. The Basics: What Are Odds?

At its core, odds represent the probability of an event occurring. In betting, odds are used to calculate potential payouts based on your wager. They come in different formats – fractional, decimal, and American. The Jeetwin app conveniently offers all three formats, allowing you to choose the one that you find most intuitive.

Fractional Odds (e.g., 5/1): The left number represents the potential profit, while the right number represents the wager. In this example, for every $1 wagered, you’d win $5 if the bet is successful.

Decimal Odds (e.g., 6.00): Simply multiply your wager by the decimal odds to calculate potential winnings. In this case, a $100 wager would yield $600 in total (including the original wager).

American Odds (e.g., +500 or -200): Positive numbers denote the profit on a $100 wager, while negative numbers represent the amount you need to wager to win $100. For instance, +500 means you’d win $500 on a $100 bet.

    II. Types of Bets

Understanding the various bet types is crucial in making informed decisions. The Jeetwin app offers a wide array of options, from straightforward single bets to more complex accumulators.

Single Bets: The simplest form of betting, where you wager on the outcome of a single event, such as a football match or a horse race.

Accumulators (Parlays): These involve combining multiple bets into a single wager. While they offer higher potential payouts, all included bets must be successful for you to win.

Over/Under (Totals): This bet revolves around predicting whether the total combined score of an event will be over or under a specified number.

Handicap Betting: It levels the playing field by giving an advantage or disadvantage to a team or player. This type of bet is particularly popular in sports like basketball and soccer.

III. How to Place Bets on the Jeetwin App

Navigating the Jeetwin app is a breeze, even for beginners. With its intuitive interface and user-friendly design, you can swiftly locate your preferred sports events and betting options.

Download the Jeetwin App: Begin by downloading and installing the Jeetwin app on your mobile device. It’s available for both Android and iOS platforms.

Create an Account: Sign up by providing the required details. Ensure that you use accurate information, as this will be crucial for account verification and withdrawals.

Deposit Funds: Head to the cashier section within the app to deposit funds into your account. Jeetwin offers a variety of secure payment methods, ensuring a seamless transaction process.

Choose Your Bet: Browse through the extensive range of sports and events available on the app. Once you’ve selected an event, explore the different betting options and odds offered.

Place Your Bet: Click on your chosen odds, enter your stake, and confirm your bet. The Jeetwin app will automatically calculate your potential winnings based on the odds selected.

d’Orlando Continues Victory Streak with Third Win on Streets of Toronto

Brooks earns fourth place, top ten for Browne, experience gained for St-Jean

Michael d’Orlando celebrates third career victory in USF Pro 2000 in Toronto
Toronto, Ontario (July 18, 2023) – Michael d’Orlando continued his victory streak in the USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, taking his third win in three straight weekends in Race 1 on the streets of Toronto. The 21-year-old, who is half Canadian, qualified on the front row for the first of two races after a shortened qualifying session due to prolonged red flags. In the race, d’Orlando pushed hard to snag the top spot away from Myles Rowe for over half of the 25-lap event before a red flag came out for rainy weather with less than 10 laps to go.

Once the race resumed under wet conditions, d’Orlando continued to push for the lead until a mistake made by Rowe allowed him to slide his #1 USF Pro Championships/Priority Payments Systems car into first position and claim the win.

After starting third for Race 2, d’Orlando didn’t take long to move up into the second position where he ran for the majority of the race, pressuring leader Myles Rowe for the lead with every lap; unfortunately, bad luck reared its head once again for the New York native as a fuel pump failure caused his car to lose power, taking away a sure podium finish and resulting in P14.

Despite the setback in Race 2, d’Orlando still earned enough points this weekend to improve to fourth in the championship standings, a mere 12 points off of second place.

“I’m really proud of the pace that Turn 3 Motorsport and I showed this weekend,” said d’Orlando. “Race 1 was an incredible result for me. Winning in front of my family in Toronto was a feeling like no other. I’m ecstatic to have my first win in Toronto. Although Race 2 didn’t come our way with a mechanical issue, we had the opportunity to win. I’m just glad to show that we were the driver to beat this weekend; whether or not things fell our way is a different story. I can’t wait to head out to COTA for our next event.”

Jonathan Browne in his #2 JB Racing car in Toronto
Jonathan Browne qualified tenth for the first of two races after very limited time on track in both practice and qualifying thanks to multiple red flags stopping the sessions early. In Race 1, Browne had a strong run coming up from tenth, particularly coming alive once rainy conditions set in over the Canadian street course. The Irishman was pushing for seventh before finding the tire barrier at Turn 8 with only a couple laps to go, ending up P15.

In Race 2, Browne got caught behind an opening lap incident which dropped him to the back of the field; however, he was able to continue on the lead lap and fight his #2 JB Racing car back up to a P10 finish to round out the weekend.

“Another difficult weekend was had in Toronto,” said Browne. “Many red flags in practice and qualifying made it difficult from the start. I found some pace in Race 1 when it started raining, but unfortunately while battling for seventh, I broke fractionally too late, and it sent me into the wall. In Race 2, I had nowhere to go at Turn 1 and had to stop and reverse out of the situation. This put me to the back, but we fought our way back into the top 10. It was not the best weekend for us, but I’m looking forward to going back and resetting for the last two rounds in a month’s time.”

Louka St-Jean in his #3 Planiform / Proservin Construction car in Toronto
Rookie Louka St-Jean faced an uphill battle from the start of the weekend in his home country; the 17-year-old French Canadian didn’t get much track time on the previously unexplored circuit before going into his first qualifying session where he ended up P18 after tagging the wall and coming in for repairs. In Race 1, St-Jean battled hard to gain positions and was up to P14 before getting into the tire barrier midway through the race.

Race 2 didn’t produce much more good fortune for St-Jean as he suffered front wing damage to his #3 Planiform / Proservin Construction car on the opening lap after unavoidably plowing into a pileup in his path, knocking him out of the race and scoring him P18.

“Well, it was a horrible end to the weekend for me unfortunately,” said St-Jean. “I had a lot of bad luck in both of the races and wasn’t able to get the results I was hoping for after a strong run at the last two rounds. Even though I didn’t have the results, I gained more experience in the USF Pro 2000 car, and I know we will be better at the next round in Texas.”

Christian Brooks in his #44 car on the streets of Toronto
Christian Brooks, who rejoined the team in Toronto after being out of a race car since the season opener in March, had a slower start to the weekend as he had limited time to find his rhythm and pace on his first ever visit to the 1.786-mile, 11-turn street circuit. Starting P13 for Race 1, Brooks was eager to prove his capabilities and raced his way up to a well-earned eighth place finish, earning the Tilton Hard Charger Award for gaining the most positions on track.

Qualifying for Race 2 went substantially better than the first session for Brooks with the 22-year-old American clocking in the fifth fastest lap time in his #44 car for Sunday’s race. On Lap 1, Brooks had already moved up to fourth and then third position where he remained for more than half the race. After some hard fought battles in the remaining laps, Brooks ended up just outside the podium in fourth for his return to the USF Pro 2000 series.

    44 Christian Brooks // USF Pro 2000

“What an experience the Toronto Grand Prix has been,” said Brooks. “I think we’ve made a statement again contending for the podium in my first race back since St. Petersburg in March. Turn 3 Motorsport did a fantastic job as always, and I’m hoping to be back racing with them again soon!”

After an overall positive weekend, the team came away maintaining second in the Team Championship with 244 points.

“Once again we proved how competitive our team is by taking a win and a fourth in the two races in Toronto,” said Team Owner Peter Dempsey. “I’m extremely disappointed to have had the mechanical issue on Michael’s car in Race 2 though. We’ve had excellent reliability all year, so to not have Michael get the weekend he should have had with his performance is frustrating. It was an absolute pleasure to have Christian back in our program this weekend. Once again, he showed his class and maturity. Toronto is the most difficult track we race on, and to be challenging for a podium in Race 2 with it being his first time there was a great success. Hopefully he can be back with us again in the near future.”

“Jonathan and Louka didn’t have the best weekend on the performance side,” continued Dempsey. “The best thing for them both to do is to focus forward and come back stronger for COTA and Portland. A huge thanks to all our crew as always; their hard work and dedication never goes unnoticed.”

Rounds 14/15 of the USF Pro Championships will take place in Austin, Texas at the Circuit of the Americas road course from August 24-27.

In 2022, T3M showed its strength and teamwork by achieving a podium, win, and/or pole at 7 of the 9 events on the Road to Indy calendar with rookie drivers Josh Green, Jonathan Browne, and Christian Weir each earning the aforementioned results across two different series (USF2000 and Indy Pro 2000).

  • How To Ride A Car In Unfavorable Weather?

How To Ride A Car In Unfavorable Weather?

Riding a car in unfavorable weather can be stressful, but with the right know-how and preparedness, you can remain safe. Rain, snow, extreme heat, or cold—it doesn’t matter what weather you run into while driving—there is a strategy to make sure it goes well for everyone involved. The following tips will help you have an enjoyable ride when experiencing anything from light rain to an all-out blizzard. Be informed and aware of best practices so your drive remains safe no matter how bad the conditions get outside.

Read up on the Local Weather Forecast

Planning a trip can be exciting, but it’s important to prepare yourself for any unexpected weather patterns that may occur. Whether you’re heading to the mountains for a hiking adventure or taking a stroll on a beach, knowing what to expect can make all the difference. Before packing your bags, take a few moments to research the local weather forecast. This will allow you to pack appropriately and ensure you have all the necessary gear to tackle any climate changes that may come your way. By taking the time to be prepared, you can enjoy your journey and make the most out of your travel experience.

Ensure that your Tires are Properly Inflated

Have you ever gotten ready for a long drive, excited to hit the open road, only to experience a frustrating flat tire just a few miles in? To avoid this kind of setback, it’s important to check your tires and ensure that they are properly inflated and in good condition before embarking on any long journeys. Proper tire pressure not only helps prevent flats but also promotes optimal fuel efficiency and steering responsiveness. You can also get additional information here about how to prepare for different kinds of weather driving. By taking a few minutes to inspect your tires, you can ensure a smoother and safer driving experience, leaving you to focus on enjoying the drive ahead.

    Check your Car Fluids

Proper maintenance of your car should be a top priority for a car owner. Checking your car fluids is one of the most important things you can do to ensure the longevity of your vehicle. Regularly checking the levels of essential fluids like oil, coolant, and brake fluid, and maintaining the correct levels can prevent costly repairs and give you peace of mind while driving. It only takes a few minutes to check these fluids, and it’s worth the effort to avoid a breakdown or other problems on the road. So, take the time to check your car fluids regularly – your car will thank you for it!

Make Sure you Have enough Fuel for your Trip and Top up if Necessary

Picture this: you’re cruising down the highway, the wind blowing through your hair, the sun beaming down and making everything around you look like it’s been dusted with gold. But suddenly, your car starts to sputter and cough. You glance at the fuel gauge and your heart sinks – you’re almost out of gas. You pull into the nearest gas station, feeling relieved but also frustrated with yourself for not checking your fuel levels before hitting the road. Don’t let this happen to you! Always make sure you have enough fuel for your trip and top up if necessary. It may seem like a hassle, but trust me, it’s much better than being stranded on the side of the road!

Keep the Windshield Clean and Clear

As the winter season approaches, it’s essential to keep your windshield clean and clear of any snow or ice to improve visibility while driving. A clear view of the road ahead makes for a more enjoyable and safer driving experience. Not only does a dirty windshield impair your vision, but it can also be a hazard to other drivers on the road. So, before heading out on the icy roads, make sure to take a few minutes to clean your windshield thoroughly. Use a quality de-icer and a scraper to remove any ice buildup and give your windshield a good wipe down to ensure it’s crystal clear. Remember, the small effort you put into keeping your windshield clean and clear can make a significant difference in your driving safety.

Driving in unfavorable weather can be a daunting task but with the right precautions and adequate preparation, you can ensure a safe and pleasant journey. Taking care of your car’s basic needs such as inspecting its tires, fluids, windshields, and fuel before taking off is essential for creating a secure environment for driving. As all roads may not be equipped to handle difficult conditions, it’s important to check the forecast and adjust your plans accordingly to stay safe. Overall, it pays to be aware of your surroundings when driving in any weather condition, so that you can safely reach your destination no matter what road challenges lie ahead!

    30th – Ty Majeski

    31st – Stephen Mallozzi

    32nd – Hailie Deegan

    33rd – Conner Jones

BEN RHODES, No. 99 Bommarito Ford F-150 (Finished 7th) – “We certainly entered this with a lot of momentum, and we were certainly expecting a better run today. It started out great, but as people started flipping the stages because the cautions came out at the wrong times, it produced a lot of excitement like they are intended to do. Unfortunately, as people flip the stages, we lose track position. As we try to come through the field, it just turns into carnage. The truck was clean, all the way up to the very end. [Carson] Hocevar just ran us right into the wall, and that’s what he does. Kind of frustrating to finish seventh with such a good truck and having to fight like we did. All-in-all, I’m glad Bommarito Automotive Group was able to have a good showing with us. I wish we could have got it to victory lane at their home track. One thing we have to go back and work on is our voltage and how we manage temperature better. We ended up losing a lot of horsepower at the end, and that hindered us from making a proper run to the front.”

ZANE SMITH, No. 38 ARRMA RC Ford F-150 (Finished 20th) – WHAT HAPPENED AT THE END? “Well, we got wrecked… unfortunately by another Ford. It was a really good truck and unfortunately, it was taken from us.”

YOU WERE LEADING THE RACE. DOES THAT MAKE IT ANY MORE DISAPPOINTING? “Yes.”

ARE YOU AND TY MAJESKI GOING TO TALK IT OUT? “Yeah. I went to go find him to see if he got hit or something. I didn’t know what his plan was there. I saw an interview earlier where at this track he has more experience here than any others. He still races like it’s his first time here. We see time and time again that the guy on the bottom has to be a little conservative, and that’s why the leaders always choose the top. Maybe he’ll learn next time.”

YOU SEEM HEARTBROKEN. “Yeah, it’s just a bummer. I mean, I kind of did it to myself staying in this series. It is pretty unbelievable how scary some of these guys are. We’ve just had, now, four bad weeks – some self-inflicted, but our day obviously snowballed once we get around some of these guys. It’s just frustrating.”

TY MAJESKI, No. 98 Road Ranger Ford F-150 (Finished 30th) – “Restarts were my struggle all day. Low air pressures and we had the splitter bent, got into Turn 3 obviously trying to get ahead of the No. 38, hit the splitter, had to check up, and went up the racetrack. Obviously when you go up the racetrack, his side took the air from mine, and I went around and wrecked us both. Inexcusable. I misjudged it. Trying to win the race and obviously wrecked two really good Ford F-150s. I’m disappointed in myself. Got to execute when you have the fastest truck by a mile like that. Just inexcusable. Got to be better.”

DANIEL SUAREZ, NO. 99 TRACKHOUSE MOTORPLEX CAMARO ZL1

    Finished: 1st (Heat One)

Give us a brief recap on that first heat race and how you look towards tomorrow night.

“It was fun to go through those transitions from a wet track and then kind of halfway dry. It wasn’t 100% dry, but it was halfway there.

We didn’t really know what to expect. The No. 9 (Chase Elliott) did a better job than myself. I don’t know if he was either more aggressive or his car happened to work out better in the wet conditions. The first 10 laps, I just didn’t have anything for him. I was trying to breakeven and around lap 15 is when I said – OK, he’s coming, and on Lap 20, I knew that I was better.

It was fun to go through those transitions – learn a little bit about the tire and learn about the track. Unfortunately, tomorrow is going to be nice and sunny, so everything that we learned today – maybe it’s going to work for the future, but not for tomorrow.

Overall, just very, very proud of my team. The No. 99 Trackhouse Motorplex Chevy team has had a lot of speed lately, but we haven’t had executions and the results. We’ve been very tough on ourselves. To be able to come here and perform the way that we’ve been doing – not just myself, but the entire No. 99 team, my pit crew and engineers. It’s a lot of fun and hopefully tomorrow we can have another performance like today.”

You’ve been here all week. Can you talk a little bit about the whole experience and how much of it was to prepare for tomorrow night?

“Yeah, it’s been fun. I’ve been here since Monday, so I’ve been living here for awhile (laughs). But you know it’s been a lot of fun to see the fans – so loyal since Monday or Tuesday. It’s been a lot of fun to see that. This place has so much history. Just look at the walls.. there’s so much history everywhere you look. For me, to be a small part of this and have the opportunity to put on a show for all these fans, our race teams, NASCAR and all the fans at home – it’s quite special. Overall, just very happy to be here.”

What made you so good in rain? You just kind of checked out and those guys had nothing behind you.

“I feel like the car was very good. My car worked very, very well for those conditions. I have some experience in the rain in go-karts, but it’s completely different. It’s completely different. I feel like our team did a good job. The car adapted well. The first handful of laps after the restart, I don’t feel like I was the best. The No. 22 (Joey Logano) was better than me there for five laps. Once I was able to get a little gap, I was able to drive away and after 10 laps, it was game over. My car was just a rocket ship.

Just very happy for my team and hopefully we can put on another performance like that tomorrow.”

How much do you know for tomorrow and how much do you still not know since you weren’t on slicks at all today?

“We learned nothing.. (laughs). We learned absolutely nothing. I just hope it rains again so these guys can have the same amount of fun that we had and they can learn nothing, as well (laughs). If these guys learn something for tomorrow, we’re going to be at a little bit of a disadvantage.

But, we’ll see. The race track right now is not dry. I don’t know if they’re going to start on slicks or wets, but it’s not 100% dry. So maybe the second-half, maybe the last 30 laps, they’re going to start learning stuff. But in the beginning, it’s going to be a little bit wet. Hopefully it pours right now (laughs).”

On teammate Ross Chastain being in the second heat race:

“Yeah, but we have different cars and we have different setups, too. We have those conversations, but our cars are different and our cars are going to react different with those transitions. Yeah, it will definitely help. It would have been worse if both Trackhouse cars were in the same heat because then we would be on an island. But we’ll be find. Regardless, I feel like our team already has an idea of where we’re going to be for tomorrow.”

CHASE ELLIOTT, NO. 9 NAPA AUTO PARTS CAMARO ZL1

    Finished: 7th (Heat One)

It looked like your car was near perfect early on in the race, and then we had the pit stop and things didn’t go so well after that.

“Yeah, Daniel (Suarez) was good before the pit stop, but I was already kind of starting to fall off. We had our stop and we were trying to make it a little better. And then I thought maybe taking a chance for the top would have been a good move and it probably wasn’t a good move looking back on it.

But yeah, it was interesting. The tire was really nice. The track is pretty much dry other than just some areas where I think it’s got some weepers. But I don’t know that this wouldn’t be a better race with those tires than it would our slicks. If the race isn’t good the first-half tomorrow, maybe we should all come in and put on these things and finish it out this way (laughs).”

AUSTIN DILLON, NO. 3 BREZTRI CAMARO ZL1

    Finished: 2nd (Heat Two)

Rain tires and slicks tires, it seemed like your car was good with both on there. What do you have to battle for that million dollars tomorrow night?

“Our No. 3 BREZTRI Chevy was pretty good. I had a lot of fun out there tonight. It was weird because the rain tires were so much better than the regular slicks that I didn’t know how hard I could go. I was kind of saving there for a minute and I saw the No. 24 (William Byron) starting to struggle, so I thought we could run down the No. 17 (Chris Buescher). When I got up there, the No. 24 started coming; he changed his line a little bit and picked up some speed. Have to go back and look at what he was doing. He seemed like he had a little wider arc than us. I was kind of running the low lane off of (turn) four. It’s cool when you can move around on the track and find subtle things and save tires. But the rain tires were very surprising. It was cool. Thank you to all of our partners – Bass Pro Shops, Coca-Cola, everybody that helps us get to the track.”

How Can You Transport Your Vehicle Safely?

Whether you’re moving across the country or simply need to transport your vehicle to a new location, ensuring the safe delivery of your car is crucial. The process of moving a vehicle can be daunting, and the last thing you want is for your car to sustain damage during transport. Fortunately, there are several ways to transport your vehicle safely, regardless of the distance or destination. In this blog post, we’ll explore some of the top methods for transporting your vehicle and offer tips for ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience. Let’s get to the list.

    Use a Towing Service

A towing service is one of the most common ways to transport a vehicle. This method involves attaching your car to a tow truck and towing it to your desired location. You can arrange the transportation of your vehicle with the towing company and then simply sit back and relax. This method is great for shorter distances, such as when you need to move your car across town or within the same city.

However, it’s important to note that not all vehicles can be towed, and some may require special equipment or techniques to ensure safe transportation. Additionally, if you plan to tow your car yourself, it’s crucial to follow all safety guidelines and have the proper equipment and training. When done correctly, using a towing service can be a reliable and cost-effective way to transport your vehicle.

    Hire a Professional Moving Company

Another option for transporting your vehicle safely is to hire a professional moving company. Many reputable moving companies offer vehicle transportation services, which can include open or enclosed trailers. This method is a good option for long-distance moves, allowing you to transport your vehicle and your other belongings.

Professional movers have the expertise and equipment to ensure that your vehicle is secured and protected during transport, reducing the risk of damage. When hiring a moving company, it’s essential to research and compare several options to find a company with a good reputation and experience in transporting vehicles. Additionally, make sure to ask about their insurance policy and any additional costs or fees that may be associated with the move.

    Ship Your Vehicle

If you’re moving a long distance or need to transport your vehicle overseas, shipping your car is convenient. Shipping companies specialize in transporting vehicles and have the equipment and expertise to move your car safely. They can offer both open and enclosed trailers and even provide options for shipping by sea or air.

However, shipping your car can be more expensive than other methods and may take longer to arrive at its destination. It’s crucial to research different shipping companies, read reviews, and obtain multiple quotes to find the best option for your needs and budget.

Drive the Vehicle to the Destination

Driving your vehicle to the destination is another option for transporting it safely. This method is suitable for short to medium distances and allows you to have full control over your car during transport. However, it may not be practical or feasible for long distances or if you’re moving to another country.

It’s important to ensure that your car is in good condition before embarking on a long-distance drive, and you should plan your route carefully and allow for adequate rest stops. Additionally, if you’re moving a long distance, consider the cost of gas, accommodations, and wear and tear on your vehicle.

Transporting your vehicle safely is crucial, regardless of the distance or destination. By using a towing service, hiring a professional moving company, shipping your car, or driving it yourself, you can ensure a smooth and stress-free experience. Research your options, consider your budget and needs, and take the necessary precautions to transport your vehicle safely.

NASCAR Cup Series Race Report – Bristol Dirt

    BRISTOL MOTOR SPEEDWAY

RACE: FOOD CITY DIRT RACE DATE: APRIL 9, 2023

AUSTIN CINDRIC No. 2 DISCOUNT TIRE FORD MUSTANG

    START – 7TH STAGE ONE – 19TH STAGE TWO – 32ND FINISH – 19TH

RACE RUNDOWN: Austin Cindric finished 19th in the third edition of the Food City Dirt Race Sunday evening on the red Tennessee clay at Bristol Motor Speedway. Cindric rolled off the grid seventh after a stout performance in his heat race. Cindric maintained his top-10 pace for the first chunk of Stage 1 but slipped to 19th at the end of the segment as he struggled with drive off. Under the six-minute service clock, Cindric pitted for a list of adjustments to aid the handling of the car in preparation for Stage 2. Cindric restarted 19th and navigated a slew of cautions, but sustained damage to the right rear toward the end of the stage, dropping to 32nd. The driver of the Discount Tire Ford Mustang steered the car to pit road for the second service break to receive a right-rear toe link repair, fresh tires, adjustments and fuel. Cindric restarted 32nd for the final showdown and avoided various late-race incidents to collect a 19th-place finish.

CINDRIC’S THOUGHTS: “Yeah, it was a pretty crazy night. I wish I could do it all over again with my experience from tonight and just kind of knowing where the track was going to go and what I needed out of my car. I feel like we could have saved ourselves from losing some track position early. I got to trying too hard to run the top and made a mistake, getting some damage. The team did a great job fixing it and getting the toe link swapped back on. We made some spots back up and clawed back through the field to get inside the top 20, avoiding some craziness. Overall, it was an OK day, but kind of a disappointment after a really good Saturday. I learned a lot.”

RYAN BLANEY No. 12 MENARDS/MAYTAG FORD MUSTANG

    START – 9TH STAGE ONE – 5TH STAGE TWO – 8TH FINISH – 23RD

RACE RUNDOWN: Ryan Blaney and the No. 12 team brought a strong Menards/Maytag Ford Mustang to Sunday night’s Food City Dirt Race as it showed top-five speed from the drop of the green flag. Blaney fought through a loose-handling condition on the entry and exit of the corners in the opening stage, but battled to cross the line fifth in Stage 1. Following a four-tire stop and a round of adjustments at the stage break, Blaney maintained his spot in the top-10 as the track began to change. He kept alternating between the high and low lines throughout Stage 2 while adapting to a slicker track surface, resulting in an eighth-place finish in the stage. Despite falling outside the top-10 in the early laps of the final stage, Blaney started to make his move forward by wrapping the bottom line in the corners and eventually made his way back into the top-five by lap 221. With under 20 laps to go, he picked off the next two in front of him to sit third in the running order before the caution flag flew on lap 235. Blaney chose the bottom lane to restart on the inside of row one as the field took the green flag with eight laps to go, but was spun by the No. 14 in turn one after contact with the left rear. Blaney avoided contact, but the race stayed green the rest of the way resulting in a 23rd-place finish.

BLANEY’S THOUGHTS: “I was excited to start on the front row [on the final restart]. I thought that we were kind of making the middle work and I was really pumped to start on the front row and see what we had, but we never got a shot. The 14 hit us from behind and that was it.”

We’ll learn from this weekend and move on to Richmond, where we’ve had success in the past.” – Cole Custer, driver of the No. 00 Haas Automation Ford Mustang
