On to the Xfinity series

Hemric led 663 laps, 15 top-five finishes, 21 top-10 finishes, and won the race, his first career win, to capture the championship.  Hemric is the only driver to get his first win of the season and win the series title.

We were not going to be denied. Thank you, Dave Rogers (crew chief). Bill and Cindy Gallaher. Everyone at Poppy Bank. Will Gallaher. They took a chance on me in 2015 in some form or fashion. They stuck with me through times they probably shouldn’t have to be honest with you. I’ve been waiting a long damn time to do that.” Hemric said.

For the upcoming 2022 racing season, the National Association for Stock Car Racing (NASCAR) recently announced two firsts in the sport’s history. First, it’s building a quarter-mile track inside the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the first time NASCAR has ever done so in a stadium setting. 

But perhaps the bigger news is the second one: the debut of the seventh generation of NASCAR racing cars, known as NASCAR Next Gen. After the race, it’ll add to the 73-year-old legacy of one of—if not—the most popular racing series in America.

The race is part of the sports calendar of the Automobile Federation of Bulgaria and is supported by the Municipality of Samokov.

In the heaviest prototypes, Daniel Gospodinov and Ivan Penchev overcame the strong competition from Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Greece, and in the fastest rally category debutants, Metodi Paunov / Vladi Radenkov were unreachable with their perfect navigation and high average speed. In the standard cars, Emil Dimitrov / Andon Andonov from Petrich were a pleasant surprise with their victory, and in the hard standard cars, father and son Tsvetan and Kaloyan Naidenov with the Jär Cherokee were again unreachable in this race with their perfect navigation and high average speed.
