  • Motorcycle Visibility Tips to Follow in the Dark

There’s nothing quite like the thrill of riding a motorcycle. Alongside being fun, it’s therapeutic and can be an exciting way to get to and from your destination. However, like all automobiles, they are dangerous. You need to make sure you are safe before you even think about getting on the road.

Below, we are going to take a look at some different motorcycle visibility tips that you should follow at night.

    Let’s get started.

    Use reflective tape

One of the most affordable and easy ways to make yourself (and your motorcycle) more visible in the dark is to use reflective tape. It’s cheap and can be applied almost anywhere to help you stand out on the road. Put in around your wheel rims, the edges of your panniers, and on the front of your forks. The more, the merrier.

Wear the right clothing and gear

Wearing the right clothing and gear is one of the most important things to remember when riding. If you are involved in a motorcycle crash, you want to be as protected as possible. From your helmet to gloves, boots, jackets, and pants, make sure everything is of high quality. To make yourself more visible at night, look for bright colors, or consider wearing a reflective jacket over everything. All-black might look cool but save it for the daytime.

    Clean your headlights

Just like all the other aspects of your motorcycle, your headlights need attention. If they are dirty, they aren’t going to work as well during the night. Regularly cleaning should do the trick, but if they are cloudy, there is a quick remedy. Mix some toothpaste with baking soda and clean with a soft cloth. It’s that easy. You can find more motorcycle cleaning tips here.

    Tap your brakes

Yes, the main function of brakes is to help you slow down, but at night they also come with another purpose. By tapping your brakes, you active your brake lights, which will (hopefully) alert the driver behind you of your position. You can also use it to inform others of any dangerous road conditions.

    Avoid blind spots

When riding your motorcycle, you want to make sure that you avoid the blind spots of other vehicles as much as possible. At night it’s even more essential, as they become larger. If you’re passing another car, do it quickly, and whenever your riding, make sure you can be seen in their mirrors. It’s all part of defensive riding to keep yourself safe.

    Use your horn

While your horn should only be used for emergencies, at night, if something happens, it’s important to remember to use it. If you follow all of the advice above and still end up not being seen, your horn acts as a reminder to back off and alters your presence to other drivers. Trust us when we say it’s there for a reason.

And that’s it. These were six tips to improve your visibility. What do you think? Is there any other advice that you would recommend?

  • Top Tips to Stay Safe in Public

Most people feel completely safe whilst they’re out in public. You head out to the store and arrive back home safely. You go out to socialize with your friends, and before you know it, you’re tucked up back in bed. Although it’s rare for something bad to happen while you’re out and about, it’s always good to take the necessary precautions in order to stay as safe as possible.

Here are some top tips on how to stay safe in public.

    1. Drive Responsibly

Road traffic accidents cause thousands of accidents and deaths every year. Driving is something that many of us do every single day without a second thought, but it is actually a high-risk activity. There are plenty of things that you can do to stay safe on the roads, such as the following.

    • Always wearing a seatbelt
    • Give the roads your full attention
    • Avoid texting whilst driving
    • Do not when you’re tired or fatigued
    • Always use your indicators when required
    • Do not drive under the influence

Sticking to the rules of the road ensures that not only you, but everybody around you, stays safe on and around public roads.

    1. Keep Your Belongings Close

It’s always a good idea to keep your belongings close and within sight at all times when you’re out in public. Unfortunately, there are many people who take every opportunity to steal from others. Never leave your bag unattended and never leave your car doors unlocked to avoid potentially harmful situations.

    1. Never Walk Alone at Night

Even if you only have a short walk to get back home, never walk on your own if it is dark. There are hundreds of incidents every year where people are harmed due to being on their own late at night. Many of these situations can be avoided by either using an alternative form of transport or walking in a small group when you’re going home in the evenings and night time.

    1. Plan Your Route

Planning out your route ahead of time makes you less likely to get lost. If you don’t know where you’re going, you could end up in an unfamiliar place which puts you at risk of harm. Even apps like Google Maps are sometimes unreliable, so always be sure to check the route you need to take before you set off.

    1. Never Get into a Suspicious Car

If you’re using a taxi or ridesharing service, always make sure you are getting into the right car. Most legitimate drivers will say your name as they pull up so that you know who they are. If somebody pulls up next to you in a car that looks unfamiliar or suspicious, never get into the vehicle before checking who they are. You can ask for a form of ID, or ask them who they are there to pick up without taking them your name.

Similarly, if you are walking down the street and a car pulled up next to you offering you a lift, always politely refuse and quickly move away from the vehicle.

  • 6 Ways to Keep Your New Car in Optimal Condition

If you are lucky enough to purchase a new car, you will be well aware that they are not cheap to buy or to run.  A new car is a considerable investment, so you will want to do everything you can to keep it looking good, running well, and for it to retain its value. Here are 6 ways to keep your new car in optimal condition.

    Look After the Battery

If you do not drive your car on a regular basis, the battery will degrade and may go flat. Experts recommend that a car battery is replaced every four years – it does not pay to try to extend the life beyond this period as you may be halfway through a long journey when your battery gives up the ghost.

To maintain the battery, you should check the acid levels every six months or so. If you continuously drive short distances and use lots of battery-draining devices in the car, the battery life will be compromised. Water levels should be topped up regularly with distilled water, especially if the battery is stratified.

    Drive Safely and Sensibly

Obviously, it makes sense to drive your car as safely and sensibly as possible to avoid accidents that can cause damage to you, other drivers, and the car.  Avoid potholes and bumps on the road that can ruin the car’s suspension and tires. You should also be gentle with your steering wheel, gearbox, brakes, and accelerator to decrease mechanical wear and tear.

Although you should not be heavy on the gas, you should rev your car to the red line limit at least every hundred miles as carbon deposits can build up in the valves and reduce efficiency. In addition, diesel cars should be taken on long motorway journeys at least once a month to prevent the particulate filters from becoming clogged with harmful emissions.

    Check and Change the Fluids

Fluids such as water, brake fluid, and coolant should be checked at least once a fortnight. Check your oil by looking at the level with the dipstick and top up if required. Oil should be light brown/yellow in color – if it is dark or dirty, your car will require a complete oil change.

    Keep it Covered

If you have a garage, you should keep your car in there to protect it from extreme weather conditions that can cause it to rust or the paintwork to fade.  Keeping it inside will protect it from theft and vandalism too. If you do not have a garage, you may want to consider renting one nearby or buying a fabric cover for it.

    Lose Weight

Don’t carry too much cargo in your new car as you can damage the suspension. Also, too much weight in the car puts extra pressure on the breaks and tires and causes them to wear down quickly.

    Have it Serviced Regularly

Like you visit a doctor for a medical regularly, you should have your car serviced at least once a year to ensure each and every component is in optimal condition.

  • Common Car Maintenance Needs Every Owner Must Know

Common Car Maintenance Needs Every Owner Must Know

The car is one of the most valuable assets that every person must have. This personal vehicle is necessary for almost all travel needs, whether the drive involves a trip to your parents’ house out of town, a vacation, or the daily routine to the office. While some people and families manage to survive without it, the car provides convenience when your day involves multiple destinations. However, purchasing a vehicle is costly. If you do not do the proper financial preparation, the purchase could place anyone into a situation that ends with car repossession. Creating a balanced budget for auto payments will be necessary because the investment will be worth it.

However, the car becomes your responsibility to maintain. While they are generally durable, vehicles can still suffer from wear-and-tear damage. Once symptoms and faults start to show up, you must pursue maintenance and repairs. Understandably, a trip to the mechanic gives you additional costs to worry about for your automobile. Therefore, car owners need to take responsibility for simple maintenance tasks to avoid issues from piling up.

    Routine Tire Inspection and Maintenance

Due to the tires constantly touching the road surfaces while driving, it’s not surprising to know that they suffer the most damage. However, tires can withstand fast speeds for long distances without breakage. Car owners expect their drive to be smooth, and car tires play a critical role in that scenario.

However, car owners still have to inspect their tires to ensure that no accidents happen on the road. Checking the tire pressure and tread depth should be part of the monthly inspection. Emergency checkups must also become a routine when you feel that your drive is no longer as smooth as before. Checking your tire pressure involves a gauge, which car owners can purchase from mechanic shops. The nearest gas station might also have the equipment for the task. For the thread depth, car owners can get a pen to check if the tires get worn out. When the item no longer fits the treads, it needs to be changed as soon as possible. You might also get a flat tire on the road. Therefore, it is essential that you learn how to change it with the spare tire at the back of your car.

    Routine Oil and Fluid Change

Cars consist of a lot of oil and fluid to keep multiple systems functional and running. While the first few months might not pose an issue, the vehicle might experience difficulties starting up if you fail to inspect them. Here are the fluids every car owner should check:

    • Engine oil
    • Power steering fluid
    • Transmission fluid
    • Coolant fluid
    • Brake fluid

Car owners can see those fluid containers when they pop up the vehicle, which contains the engine. Checking those lubricants every month is part of the car maintenance routine. Owners with older vehicles might have to perform weekly inspections and replenishment those fluids to avoid leaks. Checking and changing oil are simple tasks that people can perform at home. However, first-timers may need to consult with a mechanic to ensure that they are doing it properly.

    Car Light Inspection

Car lights are essential to drivers, especially at night. Driving with a broken headlight, brake light, or turn signal can expose you to accidents on the road. Unfortunately, the problem might not be visible to drivers. When caught with a non-functioning headlight, car owners might end up getting a ticket. Every time you leave or return home, walk around your car and check if all lights are still functioning. Once you identify that one is not working, a trip to the auto shop should be your first destination.

When to Go to a Mechanic

Car owners can save a lot of money and help maintain their vehicles’ life span if they know all the usual car maintenance tasks. However, complicated issues and repairs should force you to go straight to the auto shop. Damages like wheel misalignment and steering wheel failure could put you and your passengers in danger. Auto shops with car wheel balancers can fix those issues. The same situation applies to brake failures and accidental damages, which might require more expenses and time before you can get your car back to functioning levels.

Car owners understand how expensive it is to purchase a vehicle, but the importance of these costs is undeniable. To ensure that your investment is worth it, you must learn proper car maintenance and care. The process starts by understanding how to perform these basic routines. However, doing everything yourself might not be within your skills, making it necessary to find an auto shop you can trust.

  • Affordable tips to Organizing Your Garage

Affordable tips to Organizing Your Garage

When organizing your home, the space we often ignore most is the garage. Most people dump the stuff they do not need in the garage and forget about it. That is why it collects so much clutter over time and may need organization and a thorough cleaning. With Slatwall Accessories and proper procedures and rules on what goes to the garage, it will be easy to maintain the garage organized and clean. You can do that on a budget. Below are some tips so that you can start decluttering your garage and get more organized.

What causes disorganization in the garage?

By identifying what causes disorganization and clutter in your garage, you can avoid it in the future.

Some of the reasons why your garage has so much clutter are:

    • Habitual disorganization by all family members
    • Small home and garage space
    • Change of seasons hence the need to get rid of some stuff that does not apply in the season
    • Inability to let go of items you no longer need
    • Lack of garage organization systems
    • Garages provide an easy dumping ground for unwanted stuff

Unfortunately, most of us are culprits of the above, and that leaves the garage disorganized. You may follow the tips given below to organize your garage. Afterward, try to avoid the above activities that clutter your garage. You will find it a conducive environment for study or, you can use the space as an additional entertainment sport by adding a few entertainment gadgets.

Tips to organizing your garage on a budget

    1. Get all the necessary materials for the job

Before you start decluttering, get all the items you will need for the job. Trash cans, cleaning supplies, and drills are essential. Take a notebook and a pen to record what’s going in the trash and what you are preserving. You may also need a screwdriver, hammer, and nails in case you need to fix things.

    2. Invest in Slatwall Accessories

The easiest way to organize a garage is by installing Slatwall since with a few Slatwall accessories it is easy to configure it as per your personal preferences. Some of the ideal Slatwall accessories are magnetic toolbars, heavy-duty shelves, and plastic storage bins. Heavy-duty racks for your sports items and high-quality hooks will also make it easy to organize your garage.

    3. Car care station

Identify a space for your car care accessories and products. Mixing them up with other items will make it hard for you to find the items. You may build storage cabinets or shelves for the items. This space will be ideal for rags, sponges, fluids, and spare parts for quick access.

    4. Remove things from the garage floor

When that rule applies, you will invest in storage options that help you avoid clutter on the garage floor. That way, your car has enough space, and you also avoid sloppy piles on the floor. Cleaning the garage floor also becomes easy.

The first step to organizing the garage is to take stock of your belongings. You may then decide what stays and what you are throwing away and pile the remaining items. As much as possible, try and clean up first before you start organizing. Remind all family members to follow the procedures to uphold the cleanliness of the garage at all times.

  • Been knocked down by a car? Here’s what you should do next

Being hit by a car is always going to be a shocking and disorienting experience. At the moment it happens, it can be hard to keep a cool head and know what to do next. But here are some key actions that will help you or anyone you know who’s involved in an accident of this type.

    1. Make yourself safe

The number one thing you’ll need to do is to ensure your safety. If you’re in the middle of the road, and can move, get to the sidewalk as fast as possible. If you’re unable to walk, enlist the driver or passers-by to take action to warn oncoming vehicles to slow down and avoid hitting you.

    1. Call the police

Next step – call the police to come to the scene and assist.  While the vast majority of drivers will stop at the scene of an accident, if you are the victim of a hit and run, tell a witness any details you remember of the car involved, while they’re fresh in your memory.  While many accidents are just that, driving while distracted (for example, texting), could result in a charge against the driver.

    1. Take photos

Assuming you’re well enough, take plenty of photos of the scene. The car involved, the surrounding area, and any features such as parked cars that may have obstructed the view.

    1. Witness names

If others have witnessed the accident, ensure you obtain their contact details so that your insurer, your attorney, or the police can follow up with them later.  Of course, if you’re lying on the ground, injured, it will be difficult to start taking notes. If someone has come to your aid, ask them to collect witness details.  However, if you’re in a position to take control, tell witnesses your mobile number and ask them to give you a missed call, so you’ll be able to contact them later or pass details to the police.

    1. Your insurer

How your insurer handles the claim will depend on whether the accident occurred in one of the 12 states with a no-fault system in place. In this case, they’ll pay any damages due.  If it takes place in a non-no-fault state, such as Nevada, pedestrian accident lawyers and insurers will seek damages from the person who caused the accident.

    1. Medical assistance

Depending on the nature of your injuries, seek medical assistance as early as possible after the accident. If you are seriously hurt, then it’s straight to the emergency room, but if your injuries are less obvious – then visit your primary care provider, without delay, for treatment or referral to a specialist.

This is crucial -without medical documentation, it may be assumed that you weren’t injured at all.  And if there’s a delay in getting diagnosed, it could be argued that any injuries were caused by something unrelated, that occurred later.

If you have your own insurance, your insurer will pay your bills, otherwise, the driver’s insurance company will pay – a specialist pedestrian accident attorney will be able to claim on your behalf.

  • NASCAR Cup Series Preview – Road America

NASCAR Cup Series Preview – Road America

This weekend the NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) heads to Road America for the first time since 1956. This will be race no. 20 for the NCS at the 4.048-mile Multi-Elevational Road Course. Road America will be the fourth road course of seven on the 2021 NCS schedule. So far this season at the three road courses we have visited, we have had three different winners. Christopher Bell won at the Daytona Road Course, Chase Elliott won at the inaugural Circuit of The Americas, and Hendrick Motorsports teammate Kyle Larson won at Sonoma Raceway.

With only seven races remaining in the regular season, winning becomes more crucial each week. Eleven drivers have victories but to retain their spot in the 16-driver post-season field, they cannot fall out of the top 30 in points.

Alex Bowman, Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson and Martin Truex Jr. have already clinched a spot in the Playoffs. Ryan Blaney, William Byron, Chase Elliott, Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski can ensure their place in the post-season with a win this weekend. Denny Hamlin needs a win and 49 points.

Christopher Bell and Michael McDowell could secure a spot in the playoffs with a win and enough points to put them solidly in the Top-30, but they can only clinch with help.

Hendrick Motorsports drivers Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson are favored to win at Road America this weekend. Fans interesting in playing the odds can place legal NASCAR bets securely and obtain helpful tips. Elliott has made two NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) career starts at Road America with a fourth-place finish in both races and would be a driver to bet on this weekend.

The first and only previous Cup Series race at this venue was held on August 12, 1956, and was won by NASCAR Hall of Famer driver Tim Flock. He led 17 laps and scored his fourth win of the season. Flock passed away in 1998 and was also named one of NASCAR’s 50 Greatest Drivers the same year. In 2014 Flock was enshrined in the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

The Road America road course is located in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, and is 4.048-miles in length with multiple elevations and 14 turns, presenting many unique challenges.

The July 4th Jockey Made in America 250 Presented by Kwik Trip race will consist of 62 laps and three stages. Stage 1 will be 14 laps and Stage 2 will be 15 laps with a final stage of 33 laps.

Drivers will have one practice session on Saturday from 12:35 p.m. to 1:25 p.m. ET with qualifying scheduled for Sunday morning at 11:05 a.m. ET.

While no active Cup Series drivers participated in that first race, the Xfinity Series has raced at Road America since 2010. There are 28 drivers entered in the Cup Series race that have competed in Xfinity Series events at the track. Four of those drivers have one Xfinity win at the track including Austin Cindric (2020), Christopher Bell(2019), Michael McDowell (2016) and AJ Allmendinger (2013).

The Jockey Made in America 250 Presented by Kwik Trip Cup Series race will air live Sunday on NBC at 2:30 p.m. ET with radio coverage by MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

  • 6 Common Car Accident Injuries That Are Often Overlooked

6 Common Car Accident Injuries That Are Often Overlooked

Experiencing a car accident can be a scary event. It puts the body into a state of extreme stress, activating all those primal reactions meant to keep you alive. Once the adrenaline wears off, however, you may find that your body and mind have suffered a trauma.

While a few bumps and scrapes are common after a fender bender, some accidents cause more insidious injuries that aren’t always detected right away. Here are six common car accidents to watch out for and how to get help when you discover them.

    Whiplash

Whiplash is an injury that occurs in the neck and upper back when your body is moving and then forced to stop quickly. At the moment of impact, your body will stop moving, but your neck will continue to go forward before being halted back. This causes trauma to the muscles, tendons, and nerves in your neck.

It typically takes a few hours to a few days for the full effects of whiplash to become apparent. You’ll notice stiffness and pain in your neck. Depending on the severity of the injury, you might experience numbness or pain in your arms and trunk, as well as dizziness and nausea.

According to expert car accident Attorney Brian White & Associates, whiplash is one of the most common car accident injuries. However, the fact that it’s common doesn’t make it any less serious or time-sensitive. Many of those who have whiplash experience chronic pain and limited mobility, requiring extensive physiotherapy to help correct the injury.

It’s important to seek medical attention immediately following an accident. If the pain or numbness in your neck and the upper body continues after a few days, seek the help of a physiotherapist or other medical professional.

    Concussion

The mechanics of a concussion are similar to what happens in whiplash. In this instance, your body stops moving, and your brain continues propelling forward, causing it to bump or jolt and experience trauma. While it may not seem like much at the time, a concussion is considered a traumatic brain injury that can lead to cognitive issues and even death.

Like whiplash, a concussion may not be immediately apparent. Loss of consciousness or vomiting are clear signs of a concussion. However, the effects may also be more subtle, such as short-term memory loss, difficulty focusing or communicating, lethargy or confusion.

Again, seeking immediate medical treatment will help identify a concussion. If you suspect you or a passenger has a concussion, don’t leave them alone. Follow medical recommendations and watch for continued symptoms in the days and weeks following the accident.

    Internal Bleeding

Internal bleeding is a subtle yet serious injury that’s difficult to detect. To the untrained eye, internal bleeding often looks like a bad bruise. If left unchecked, internal bleeding can cause death.

In the hours following an accident, be on the lookout for dark purple bruises and abdominal tenderness. If you start to feel sick or dizzy, seek medical help immediately.

    Broken Bones

Broken bones are another common occurrence after an accident. While some breaks are readily apparent, others are harder to detect while adrenaline is coursing through your body.

The most common broken bones after an accident are the ribs and nose. Rib breaks are typically caused by the impact of a seatbelt, while the nose often breaks from the steering wheel or airbag contact. It’s important to understand that if you sustain an injury from an airbag or seatbelt, the damage would have been significantly worse if those safety measures weren’t present. The potentially dangerous impact of an airbag is also why it’s so important to put children in the back seat.

    Knee Injuries

Knee injuries often get overlooked after a motor vehicle accident. Many people never make the connection that their knee issues could have been caused by the accident, as the problems don’t appear immediately.

This form of injury is colloquially called “dashboard knees,” as it’s caused by the impact on the dashboard during an accident and is one of the most common knee injuries that people may suffer in their lifetime. This event could also lead to a ligament injury. If you develop knee pain in the months following your accident, document the issue and seek medical attention.

    PTSD

Sometimes the gravest injuries aren’t to the body, but to the mind. As a car accident can be incredibly traumatic, it’s not uncommon to develop anxiety, depression, or PTSD. While it’s natural to feel tremendous stress or anxiety in the days and weeks following the accident, continued mental health issues can indicate something deeper is going on.

If you start experiencing mood changes, insomnia, a sense of disconnect with reality, or flashbacks, you could be suffering from PTSD. Reach out to someone you trust and seek medical assistance to help you process your experience and develop healthy coping methods.

    Seeking Compensation for MVA Injuries

The medical issues resulting from a car accident are costly. This financial burden can exacerbate your medical issues by putting extra stress on your body and mind as you try to heal.

Calling a car accident attorney following the event can help you secure the compensation you need to support proper healing. Remember, it’s better to call and not need their services than it is to discover you need help after the statute of limitations has passed.

Give your body time to rest and recover after an accident, and be mindful of these common injuries.

  • NASCAR News Round-Up

    NASCAR News Round-Up

With seven more race weeks left until we hit the playoffs in September, now’s as good a time as any for a NASCAR news round-up right? So buckle yourselves in for a series of high-speed twists and turns as we have a quick rundown of the last month or two of racing and have a look into the future to see what’s yet to come. 3… 2… 1… GO GO GO!

June saw us visit 4 different race tracks for 6 different races, those 6 races saw 4 different winners, one man who has been on a bit of a tear lately with 4 wins in the last 7 races, even if one of those was the All-Star Race weekend. Kyle Larson has made a huge push up to the top of the table, sitting second by only 2 points at the time of writing this (June 30th, 2021), the man in front of him Denny Hamlin, who is still yet to register a win this season, but consistency is proving key for him. But we’re not here to talk about him today, let’s talk about Kyle Larson.

So, where do we begin? Let’s start with the last race in May, Sunday 30th to be precise. Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, this race was the first win in what would be a pretty ridiculous 30 or so days for Kyle Larson. Before we truly begin, this wasn’t Larson’s first win of the season, no, he won the Pennzoil 400 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway back on 7th March, but the last month, in particular, has been a crazy time for Larson.

As I was saying, Coca-Cola 600, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Larson absolutely dominates, starting on pole, goes on to lead 327 of the 400 laps, only challenged by Chase Elliot and William Byron who led 22 and 19 laps apiece. Not only did he absolutely dominate, winning with a 10.051-second lead, with his eighth career win he sealed himself a spot in the playoffs and Larson helped break records by giving Hendrick Motorsports its 269th victory which is the most in NASCAR history!

Next up, only a week later, we arrived at the Toyota Save Mart 350, Sonoma Raceway California. Larson went on to get back-to-back victories, dominating yet another race. Though there were a few accidents, Larson managed to hold off Elliot, his Hendrick Motorsports colleague, and Martin Truex Jr. a three-time winner at Sonoma. BACK TO BACK, this would also be Kyle Larson’s first win at the 2.52-mile road course. Making this his third win of the season and yeah, you got it, the 9th win of his career. Larson was adamant it wasn’t as easy as he made it look, going on to say “It was not easy. Just keeping on the track is tough, especially when you’ve got two of the best behind you on the last restart.”

Unfortunately for Larson, he didn’t end up winning the next race… what a shame, right? Anyway, he quickly fixed that, two weeks on from his Sonoma win, this time at the NASCAR All-Star Race at the Texas Motor Speedway. This one proved to be a big one, earning Larson a $1million paycheck and his second All-Star race victory in three seasons. The 100 lap race came down to the last 8 laps, with a big move, himself and Brad Keselowski who would end up coming in second, splitting Larson’s Hendrick Motorsports teammate Chase Elliot, propelling themselves forward to take the 1-2, though this is only an exhibition, I figured it was still worth talking about.

And it didn’t take Larson long to add yet ANOTHER win to his belt, continuing what NASCAR described as his “Streak of superiority” Larson came out the winner at the Nashville Super Speedway in the Ally 400. Which when you take out the All-Star weekend was his 3rd consecutive regular-season win. If he hadn’t already had his place nailed on in the playoffs, he certainly had now. The race saw 14 different lead changes between 7 different drivers, but among those only Elliott and Kyle Busch led for double digits. Larson led for 264 of the 300 laps, meaning in his 3 wins, of a potential 792 laps, Larson was only trailing for 143 of them, insanity. This made Larson the favourite at most Bookmaker Sportsbook for the next few races, though he didn’t quite make it to 4 in a row in the regular season!

What a guy, what a driver, and what a team right? So, what have we got to come in the next month or so? Well, July only features three races but we’ll list ‘em below anyway!

First up, Sunday, July 4th, It’s time for the “Jockey Made in America 250” at the Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. 62 laps/250 miles. – Starting at 2:30PM ET

Then on Sunday, July 11th, we have the “Quaker State 400” at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton Georgia, 260 laps/400 miles. – Starting at 3:30PM ET

Finally it’s the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire, 301 laps/318.46miles. – Starting at 3:00PM ET

That’ll do it for me for this one, how are you enjoying the NASCAR season so far and how excited are you for the playoffs? Not long to go now, September is fast approaching!
