NASCAR Racing Betting | Tips to Improve Your Odds of Winning

Some Great Betting Tips for Betting on NASCAR Racing

You will not find many sports out there that provide such fantastic high-speed entertainment as NASCAR. This is a sport that has been keeping motor racing fans on the edge of their seats for many years. However, there is a way that you can make it even more exciting than it is, and that is by betting on it. If you just bet blind, you will end up losing more money than you win, which we do not want. Therefore, below we have provided you with some great NASCAR betting tips that will help improve your chances of being successful.

Bet on Multiple Drivers at Once

When you are live betting on traditional sports such as football you never have the option of betting on a number of different teams as there are only two participating at once. If you put money on both teams, you will always end up losing money. However, this is not the case with NASCAR as there are usually more than 40 drivers participating. This fierce competition means that even the favorites are going to have high odds. For instance, it is not rare to see the favorite to win have odds of 8.00. This applies to all the different types of bets that you can place such as fastest lap, pole position, and win outright. Mobile casinos are also taking the world by storm, and places such as online casino Philippines can enjoy their favorite games in a virtual environment.

If you bet on multiple drivers, you improve your chances of winning and will walk away with a profit if one of your picks goes on to win the race. For example, if you bet $10 on four different drivers at odds of 7.00 and one of them goes on to win, you will make a profit of $40. With odds like these, you could place a bet on 6 drivers and still get a profit if one of your drivers wins. Now, we know that with this type of bet you will make less money than you would if you put one big bet on just one driver, but it is much harder to win such a bet. Furthermore, you do not need to place the same wager on every driver you choose – a good strategy is to bet on a couple of drivers that you feel confident in and a few drivers that you feel are a long shot to win.

    Up and Coming British Racer

Scott Jeffs, a 22-year-old from Stratford-Upon-Avon, is considered by many to be one of the up-and-coming talents in the sport. He made his debut in the sport in 2019 as Alex Sedgwick’s teammate in the Elite 2 Class. Jeffs showed promise throughout the series, landing a 6th place finish in his first race in Valencia as well as a 5th place finishes at Brands Hatch in front of his home crowd. He was forced to miss a few rounds and when he returned for the Hockenheim race, he surprised everyone by making the decision to jump up to the Elite 1 class. He showed his potential once again by coming 13th and 9th in two races despite the fact that he had to start outside the top 20 drivers in both races.

However, unluckily for Jeffs, he did not get to compete in his inaugural EuroNASCAR PRO series due to the fact that the team that he was going to be racing for (Braxx Racing) decided to withdraw from this year’s series due to the current pandemic situation. However, we are sure that Jeffs will get his chance to impress at some stage in 2021.

    Check Track History

If you want to be successful when betting on this sport, then you need to know the tracks that drivers prefer. More often than not the only thing that people pay any heed to is how well a particular driver is doing. However, the problem with this tactic is that each track is different and requires different skills to conquer. For instance, there are some drivers who are great at restrictor plate racing, but this does not necessarily mean that they are going to be any good at short-track racing.

There is some good news though and that is that it is not hard to find out the type of tracks that each driver performs well on. All you need to do is go on the Internet, find the historical data of a track and you will be able to find out which drivers have performed well on it over the last couple of years. When you then mix this data in with how that particular driver is doing at the moment on the whole, then you are going to be able to get a pretty good idea as to how well a driver is going to do.

NASCAR Whelen Euro Series | Here’s All You Need to Know

Let Us Take a Much Closer Look at the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series

The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, formerly called the Racecar Euro Series, is a NASCAR stock-car race series situated in Europe. It is one of three international-sanctioned NASCAR series, alongside the NASCAR PEAK Mexico Series and the NASCAR Pinty’s Series. It just so happens to be the most prestigious stock-car race series in the whole of Europe.

    History

In 2002, Jerome Galpin, a French rally driver, came up with the idea of a European stock-car race series after watching a NASCAR race. Team FJ, his family group, the decision to launch the Racecar Euro Series in June six years later and declared that the first season would take place the following year. The inaugural 2009 series took place on seven tracks across France, with 16 drivers participating. The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile approved it as an international series after a race was held in Nürburgring, Germany, in 2010. The following year, they expanded and added more races in other parts of Europe.

At the beginning of 2012, Team FJ came to an arrangement with NASCAR to allows the series to become part of the Circuit until the year 2020. As a part of the arrangement, the series had to change its name, so it became known as the Euro-racecar NASCAR Touring Series. This new agreement meant that the series was now an official series in Europe, meaning that NASCAR standards and rules were adopted. The series was split into two categories – Elite 1 and Elite 2. The better racers race in Elite 1, while the “lesser” racers compete in Elite 2.

In 2013, the series changed its name to the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series when Whelen Engineering announced that it had agreed to become the new sponsors until 2018. In 2017, this agreement was extended until 2024. At the end of 2019, it was announced that Elite 1 and Elite 2 would be renamed EuroNASCAR PRO (ENPRO) and EuroNASCAR 2 (EN2).

    Betting on This Sport

Nowadays, bookies are happy to offer markets for the majority of sports, so you will definitely be able to find plenty of bookmakers that allow you to bet on the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series no matter where in the world you’re based, be it Indiana or India. Just be sure to find a good comparison site that will give you the information about all of the best online casinos and bookmakers that include NASCAR. Some of the things that you can bet on include the driver to win the race, whether a driver will earn pole position, the driver that will have the fastest lap time, and whether a certain driver will end up on the podium.

    The Cars

The cars that you will see racing in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series have been built with European tracks in mind. The cars have a V8 engine that provides 450 horsepower. They use a 4-speed gearbox, have rear-wheel drive, and weigh about 1225kg. During the 2016 series, a new style of car was introduced, and it was called the “Next Level”. These cars are a lot more aerodynamic and have an 8-inch spoiler on the rear instead of the traditional wing used on the cars that came before. The Chevrolet SS was the very first Next Level car that was introduced on the circuit. In 2018, the composite body of the Chevrolet was updated to the Camaro ZL-1, but the SS body style is still legal for use in competition.

  • What the Ultimate Pit Set Up Looks Like in 2020

What the Ultimate Pit Set Up Looks Like in 2020

There are so many aspects of a great pit set up that can make your team’s race day a huge success. If you are a first-time racer, it can be hard to see past the obvious necessities, like tires, air jacks, and wheel guns.

Preparation is the key to making your transition from track to pit, and then back as smooth as possible. It goes without saying that the most important aspect of any pit stop is the efficiency and experience of your team, but the aesthetics can be just as significant.

Below are the ultimate accessories for your 2020 pit set up.

    All The Accessories

Every pit lane needs an extensive list of equipment and accessories to be successful–from stopwatches and air pressure gauges to drip trays and temperature measurement tools. You need to make sure you have every tool you could ever need and then bring some spares just in case. For instance, bring spare tires for all weather conditions and a tread depth gauge.

Even something as simple as having a folder or wall mount where you can store all your guides, plans, and race day strategies so they are on hand and easily accessible to your crew can make all the difference! Depending on the race rules, bring an extra can and a fuel spout in case you need to refuel.

    Matching Gear

Matching gear is a great way to unite your team and add a touch of professionalism to your pit lane, even if it is just a simple touch like matching t-shirts. Depending on the event, your team needs full personal protective equipment, which can be better if your team is color-coordinated.

Consider making your crew’s clothing with high visibility materials. You also need to take into account the changing weather conditions. By doing so, your team has the appropriate clothing and footwear. Having coordinated attire is great for sponsorship as you can advertise sponsors on your crew’s gear the same way you would on your vehicles.

    Personal Equipment

There are a number of items you need to make your pit day a success, such as a whistle. Having a whistle on hand is important to warn the person working in the pit lane that a vehicle is approaching; as a vehicle makes its way down the lane, it should be proceeded by the sound of whistles.

Also, bring a hat or cap to protect yourself from the sun. In addition, have some sunscreen and sunglasses on hand. You’ll also need a pen and notepad in case you are asked to complete an incident report. Lastly, distribute leather gloves for all pit crew in the event they need to handle hot objects.

    Personal Safety

By taking part in any race day, you need to take into account your own safety. Ensuring you have precautions in place is ultimately the most important aspect of any pit set up. You and your team need to have every eventuality mapped out, so in the event that accidents happen, they can be swiftly and safely dealt with.

Fire extinguishers should be on hand as it can keep you and your team safe. As part of the pit team swiftly and safely you need to be well-rested, well-sustained, and hydrated for a day in the pit. It’s equally important to ensure there is plenty of water on hand should anyone need it.

A hot day in a pit can be extreme, hence make sure your pit is well-equipped with medical and first aid equipment.

    Inflatable Arch

Consider purchasing an arch or custom inflatable to attract attention. Adding an inflatable attraction to your pit will give you an edge when it comes to building brand awareness. Thus, your sponsors will surely appreciate it.

To switch up sponsors for alternative races or marketing opportunities, you could have an arch dedicated to your brand with changeable banners. You could even have a huge inflatable tire in your garage to add a bit of fun to your pitstop.

When it comes to providing a little light-heartedness while building your brand, you have a huge range of options by creating a custom inflatable for advertising. Check out a few ideas on this website since they can make anything you can imagine.

Buckets of Soaker, a Broom, and a Shovel

Buckets of soaker, brooms, and a shovel should all be placed along the pit lane, which can be used for spills, like oil spills.

When clearing a spill, make sure you bring another team member with you to watch for incoming vehicles. Limit the amount of soaker used as you don’t want to create a slip.

Take note that you cannot clear a refueling spill until a fire marshal has been at the scene and given approval that the area is safe to enter.

Consider a Pit Perch or a Marquee

A folding marquee or a pit perch can be a great addition for any pit crew since it can be a form of shelter for the pit crew from weather conditions, keeping the sun out of their eyes and keeping them dry in the rain.

Depending on the track facilities for each race, they are handy to have. They are also a marketing opportunity in disguise as most can be customized to your colors and specs.

    Paddock Trolley

A paddock trolley is perfect for gathering tires from the pit and transferring them in a vehicle. Most wheel trolleys are robust trolleys that are compact and can be folded, making it quick to transport and easy to store.

Make the Most of Every Opportunity

Even though the most noteworthy action happens out on the track, a good performance cannot happen without the appropriate preparation and guidance from the team back in the pit. Make sure your set up is the best it can be so your pit crew can focus on what needs to be done, allowing them to help their driver and vehicles greatly perform on the track.

Always take every opportunity to build your brand awareness and boost your support by making the most of potential advertising space in the pits.

Despite the dry season, his fan base remained very loyal to him throughout his career.

    Kyle Busch

In recent history, no one has made such an appearance at NASCAR as Kyle Busch. During the top three NASCAR tours, Busch has earned 104 wins, a remarkable achievement for any racer, especially at his age of 26. Those tours had clearly shown that the best is yet to come. • Race Betting in the US: What You Should Know

Betting has always been a fun activity especially when it involves sports. Sports itself like racing is already thrilling and exciting. Knowing that you may earn money from a sport that you enjoy watching just makes it more fun and entertaining.

Fortunately for everyone, it’s so easy to wager on sports nowadays. Whether it’s racing or other sports like football, cricket, or basketball, you can easily place your bets in the comfort of your homes. You just need to be connected to the internet and find online casinos or bookies that have the odds that you’re looking for.

Race betting may not be as popular as football betting and other big sports like cricket and basketball. However, this can be as thrilling as those other sports. If you haven’t wagered on races before, here are the important things that you should know.

    Looking for the Right Bookie

The first thing to consider when betting on any race is looking for the perfect bookie. Know that the perfect bookie will depend on your needs. Nowadays, there are hundreds or even thousands of online bookies and casinos that accept wagers on racing and choosing the best one can be a bit overwhelming.

Some of the factors that you should consider include convenience and the options that you have when it comes to betting odds. Know that not all online bookmakers may carry odds on the races that you’d like to wager on. The types of odds that a bookie offer should also always be checked.

When it comes to convenience, this includes the payment and withdrawal options that the bookie offers. Will it be easy for you to make a deposit or does this bookie give payouts promptly? Those are the questions you should ask when shopping for a bookie.

It’s also important that the bookie of your choice is reputable. You can check on this by reading casino or bookie review sites. It’s always nice to check on the experience of other punters with a certain bookie. It’s also a must for you to check if this online bookie is licensed and is allowed to offer its services in your area to avoid legal problems.

    Types of Racing Odds

Since part of looking for the right bookie is knowing that it carries racing odds that you’d like to wager on, know that there are different types of racing bets that you can place. Here are the ones that you should know.

    • To Win Bets

This is the most popular type of auto racing bet. You just really have to pick the winner of the race. If that driver or racer wins, then you also win their bets. Placing 2nd and so on means that you lose the bet. The nature of the race or how the driver wins the race won’t matter. As long as he or she wins, you also win on your bet.

    • Stage Winners

There are stages of the race when the tournament or competition is stopped like in NASCAR. When you are placing this type of bet, you get to bet on the different stage winners. You can bet on the winners of the first two stages or the winner of the final stage if we’re talking about NASCAR.

    • Matchup Bets

For this type of bet, the bookie will be picking two drivers in the race and you will have to pick the one that you think will finish better than the other. Basically, during the whole of the race, you only focus on these two drivers. It doesn’t matter if your pick finishes second or so. As long as he defeats the other driver, then you win.

    • Pole Position Bets

For the pole position bet, you will be picking the driver with the fastest qualifying time and start first. There could be odds for each driver and this means that you can also just focus on one driver. This depends on the bookie where you’ll be placing your bet. This is what you should give a try if you want to feel immediate excitement as soon as the race begins.

    • Podium Finish Bets

For this, you will be picking a driver that will finish in the top three. As long as he or she is part of the top three, then you win your bet. If the driver finishes first, then you may get an additional reward for that too.

    • Futures Bets

An example of this betting on the end-season champion. You need to pick a winner but not of a single race but the entire cup or tournament instead.

    • Fastest Lap Bets

This sounds exactly the way it is. You will need to pick a driver who will have the fastest lap. It doesn’t matter if the driver wins or loses. As long as he or she has the fastest lap, then you also win.

    • Prop Bets

Prop bets are present in most forms of sports betting. For racing, prop bets could be how many cautions there will be during a race or if a particular track record will be broken. These are components or small parts of a racing event that you can wager on.

  • Picking the Perfect Rims For Your Car

Picking the Perfect Rims For Your Car

Rims, the outermost part of the wheel, serve the functional purpose of holding the tire, enhancing car performance, and giving it a smoother ride. It’s used as an aesthetic that can also make a dull-looking ride look like a million bucks.

If you’re new to the auto world or never gave much thought to what type of rims your car needs, here you’ll find a quick cheat sheet on what to look for when it comes to your wheels.

    Find the Right Size Rims

The first mistake that many car geeks make is prioritizing aesthetics over how it’ll affect your car and its performance. Before you go shopping for RTX rims, let’s look at functionality, what size you should look for in wheels and rims, and how it impacts your riding experience.

    Overall Diameter

The rim size, as well as the tires, is important for the braking components, suspension parts, and the body of the vehicle. It indicates the number of lug holes and the spacing between them. Increasing the diameter gives you a more street-worthy look, but decreasing it allows for more tire sidewall and better off-road performance.

    Offset and Backspace

The offset is defined as the distance between the hub-bearing surface and the centerline of the rim. If the face of the mounting hub is behind the centerline, somewhat inside of the barrel, it’s considered a negative offset. The opposite applies to it sitting towards the edge of the car – making it a positive offset.

It’s not just for appearance; while the offset can drastically change the look, it can also affect the way the suspension reacts to movements of the wheel.

    Bolt Patterns

Bolt patterns from the rims and your wheels must match to fit your vehicle properly. For instance, your car may have five lugs, but it doesn’t mean it’ll be a perfect fit. Use a template or chart indicated for your vehicle’s make, year, and class for ultimate accuracy.

    Proper Mounting

Another important factor to consider is how well it can be mounted to a vehicle. You’ll mostly find rims that are hub-centric (when they fit precisely around the hub). Settle for anything else that doesn’t fit your wheel, and you’ll experience imbalance or vibration in your seat or steering wheel while driving.

    Material and Maintenance

Rims come in common materials such as steel, aluminum, and chrome. Other types include magnesium alloy wheels. Here’s a little about each material and the advantages it brings.

    Steel

Steel is considered old school since most standard wheels used to be made from it. Most commonly found as a 17-inch wheel, it’s one of the cheapest options compared to its competitors.

    Aluminum

Aluminium is much lighter than steel, making it more fuel-efficient. It’s usually alloyed with some nickel.

    Magnesium Alloy

These rims are incredibly durable, affordable, and highly used today. They’re also the lightest rims on the market.

    Chrome

Chrome trims were popular in the 1960s up until recently. It’s not exactly a material, but a finish applied to rims to resist rust and look brand new. However, it’s not scratch proof, is easily damaged from weather, and in some cases, it contains hazardous chemicals. Chrome has since been banned in some US states.

    Ask an Expert

If you still don’t feel comfortable choosing your own rims, it would be best to ask a professional. They know exactly what they’re doing and will ask you the right questions to narrow down what you’re looking for.

    Final Word

When it comes to rims and wheels, there are so many makes and models to choose from it’ll make your head spin. On the bright side, it gives you a wide range of prices, materials, and appearances to choose from when it’s time to optimize your ride.

If all else fails, one foolproof way to get the desired size, material, and look you want is meeting up with an expert. Any reputable car shop will be able to guide you through the ins and outs of car wheels, help you find the right size, and how to make them work the best for you.

  • Metal Detector on Racetrack: Why We All Need One

While the connection between the two activities of metal detecting and auto racing is not that obvious. In fact, every race fan should have one. Metal detectors are not very simple to use, but they are worth some time and effort; mastering metal detecting will take time, but the result is a new skill that can save the day in many cases.

Metal detectors detect things both on the surface, hidden in the grass or dirt, and on considerable depth. There are plenty of brands, and different types of metal detecting machines; if you want a positive user experience, consider only the best metal detectors. Now, you are probably wondering why and how a race fan should use a metal detector? Well, you may be surprised how that device can make your life easier.

    Find What Was Lost

Car parts can be spread all over the racetrack due to contact and they fall off or they can be knocked off, during the race. Pieces can be buried in grass or dirt, and if the racetrack is huge, the task becomes close to impossible if you need to find something that fell off. And this is where a metal detector comes to the rescue! You don’t have to try and find the pieces, the machine will find them for you, faster, and more efficiently.

The same can be said about camping places. Many people mistakenly leave their belongings, including expensive spares, instruments, and other stuff, on their camping place, and don’t notice the thing is missing until they are back home. If you have a metal detector, you can swipe around the camping place after everything is packed, and see if anything was left in the grass including your smartphone!

    Cool Old Stuff

Now, if you are a true automobile fan, there is another cool activity you can pursue with a metal detector. Searching on and around some old race tracks can bring some unexpected pieces, like rare pieces, old emblems, and car license plates, etc. You can spot even some really valuable pieces, like retro car elements, or even personal belongings of drivers who mastered those old tracks decades ago.

Experienced metal detectorists find amazing things on such locations like old racing tracks, sometimes, they spot even valuable stuff they can sell. If you are skillful with your metal detecting machine, maybe this perspective will add another twist to your love for cars and racing. Eventually, all those old tracks are a huge part of automobile history and legacy. Isn’t that exciting?

    Final Thoughts

Getting a metal detector for personal use is not complicated, and most of the detectors are easy to transport. They definitely need some practice, but you will be sure that all your metal stuff will be in order, and nothing will be left behind.
