TV: FS1 | Radio: Motor Racing Network (MRN), Sirius XM Ch. 90

Wright on making his third-career start at Darlington: “I am really excited to get back to Darlington (Raceway), especially with the Ron Hornaday Jr. VFW throwback paint scheme. This is one of my favorite tracks and events on the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule.

“It will be interesting to see how the race progresses and how aggressive the racing will be, with the schedule starting to pick up with back-to-back weekends for the next two months.”

Wright at Darlington Raceway: Wright makes his third-career start at Darlington Raceway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Friday night. He ran to a 28th-place finish after starting 23rd last September and was involved in an incident on lap 25 in his Darlington debut last May, resulting in a 39th-place finish.

Wright’s Throwback Truck for Darlington: Wright will honor four-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion and 2018 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee, Ron Hornaday. In 2022 Wright joined Team Hornaday Development, mentored by Hornaday, as a member of the driver development program. The No. 44 VFW Chevrolet Silverado will feature the iconic red, white, and blue of the Kevin Harvick, Inc., (KHI) No. 33 VFW Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Representing the 2008 and 2009 seasons, the VFW paint scheme boasted victories at the Texas Motor Speedway (2008) and at the Lucas Oil Indianapolis (Ind.) Raceway Park.

Last Time Out (Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt – Start: 30th / Finish: 33rd): Wright and the No. 44 team started in the back half of the field and battled a tight handling condition early, resulting in a 32nd-place finish in Stage One. Two laps into Stage Two, Wright had a left rear tire go down that sent him for a spin in turn two, causing minor damage to the left rear of the No. 44 Chevrolet. Following a pit stop under caution to change the left rear tire, Wright was scored two laps down.

After finishing Stage Two 35th, Wright and the No. 44 worked to salvage their night with several adjustments along the way, but ultimately settled for a 33rd-place finish.

Carson Hocevar – Dead on Tools 200 Race Advance

Race Advance – Dead On Tools 200 (147 Laps/200.8 Miles) | Darlington Raceway

    Friday, May 6 | Darlington, S.C. | 7:30 p.m. ET

TV: FS1 | Radio: Motor Racing Network (MRN), Sirius XM Ch. 90

Team: No. 42 Premier Security Solutions Chevrolet Silverado

Driver: Carson Hocevar (Portage, Mich.) | Crew Chief: Phil Gould

    Follow the Team: @NieceMotorsport; @CarsonHocevar

Hocevar on Friday night’s race at Darlington: “Our No. 42 Premier Security Solutions team is really looking forward to returning to Darlington this week after running as well as we did last year. The ability to build on two solid performances from a year ago is a big advantage at any track, but especially at a place as unique as Darlington. We’re bringing a fast Chevrolet Silverado to the track and it was great to be part of the process in helping design our Travis Pastrana throwback paint scheme – a big thanks to Premier Security Solutions for allowing us the creative freedom to make that idea come to life.”

Hocevar at Darlington Raceway: Hocevar makes his third-career start at Darlington Raceway Friday night and owns an average finish of 7.0. Both of his previous starts came during the 2021 season – he ran to a third-place finish after starting 14th in May before turning in an 11th-place finish in the September event after starting fifth.

Hocevar’s Throwback Truck for Darlington: Hocevar’s No. 42 Chevrolet Silverado features a throwback paint scheme to Travis Pastrana’s 2012 NASCAR Xfinity Series black and orange livery with several logos printed in the background of the design – including ‘Vote for Pedro’ and Pastrana-inspired marks – to match the original look.

Last Time Out (Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt – Start: 6th / Finish: 2nd): Hocevar kept his No. 42 Chevrolet Silverado in the top-10 for the entirety of the first stage to begin the night, resulting in a ninth-place finish in Stage One. Following a four-tire stop at the stage break, Hocevar battled traffic for a majority of Stage Two before ultimately coming away with an eighth-place result.

After opting not to pit prior to the start of the final stage, Hocevar restarted fourth in the outside lane and made quick work of the trucks ahead to make the pass for the lead on lap 92 – the first of a career-high 55 laps the 19-year-old led on the night. Hocevar fended off a hard-charging John Hunter Nemechek from then on despite four cautions between then and the end of the race that brought the field back together.

Following a three-truck incident that brought out a caution on lap 138, Hocevar led the field to green with six laps to go but was unable to hold off eventual race winner Ben Rhodes, who made the pass for the lead in turn four on the high side with five laps to go. Hocevar settled for a second-place finish, matching a career-best result (Charlotte, 2021).

Following a four tire stop at the stage break, Thompson rallied to pick up a 24th-place finish in Stage Two.

With less than 30 laps to go, Thompson made his way into the top-20 and evaded a number of on-track incidents down the stretch to finish 16th, marking his second Sunoco Rookie of the Race honor of the season.

  • Chandler Smith – No. 18 Safelite Tundra TRD Pro Camping World Trucks Darlington Preview

Chandler Smith – No. 18 Safelite Tundra TRD Pro Camping World Trucks Darlington Preview

Chandler Smith: Driver, No. 18 Safelite® Toyota

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Overview:
    Event: Dead on Tools 200, Race 7 of 23, 147 Laps –45/45/57; 200.1 Miles
    Location: Darlington (S.C.) Raceway (1.336-mile egg-shaped oval)
    Date/Broadcast: May 6, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR 90

    Mr. Smith Season 2:

Chandler Smith and the No. 18 Safelite team head to Darlington Raceway for Friday’s Dead on Tools 200. As part of Darlington’s throwback weekend, Smith will have fresh colors on his Tundra under the lights Friday night. Smith’s normal paint scheme on his Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) entry is based off Safelite’s MobileGlassShop vehicles that have been predominately black with silver and red stripes since 2013. This week the No. 18 will throw it back to before 2013 when Safelite’s MobileGlassShop vehicles were predominately white with red and black stripes on the side. Safelite – the nation’s largest provider of vehicle glass repair, replacement, and recalibration services – has been a partner of KBM since the 2017 season and will be the primary sponsor on Smith’s Toyota for 16 races this season.

Smith has had a strong start to 2022, finishing inside the top 10 in four of six events including his victory earlier in the year at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway. The 19-year-old driver sits second in the regular season point standings, 38 tallies behind reigning series champion Ben Rhodes. Through the first six events of the season Smith leads Truck Series regulars in average starting position (4.7), ranks second in average finish (9.3) and third in driver rating (107.5) and average running position (7.654).

Friday night will be Smith’s fourth start at “The Lady in Black.” While he’s had strong runs each time racing at Darlington, he hasn’t had the results to show for it. Smith’s best result came last September when he finished seventh.

The Georgia driver earned NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Rookie of the Year honors in 2021 and finished eighth in the championship standings after producing two victories, one pole, 213 laps led, six top-five and nine top-10 finishes in his first full-time season. He earned his first career Truck Series victory at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway in September and in the series finale at Phoenix (Ariz.) Raceway earned his first career pole and swept all three stages en route to his second victory.

Veteran crew chief Danny Stockman will once again call the shots for Smith and the No. 18 team in 2022. Stockman’s drivers have produced six victories at KBM across his first two seasons, including two with Smith behind the wheel in 2021. The veteran crew chief captured a Truck Series championship with Austin Dillon in 2011 and also won an Xfinity Series championship with Dillon in 2013. Stockman’s drivers have produced one top-five and two top-10 finishes across five Truck Series starts at Darlington resulting in an average finish of 15.4. His best result was fifth with Dillon in 2010.

The Camping World Truck Series will be racing for the 650th time this week at Darlington. Chris Showalter, the truck chief on Smith’s No. 18 Tundra TRD Pro, has remarkably been a crew member for all 650 races dating back to the series’ inaugural event held on February 5, 1995 at Phoenix Raceway. The Ohio native has been a part of 16 wins across his 188 races since becoming a truck chief at KBM in 2014. His most notable accomplishment was being the crew chief for Travis Kvapil’s Truck Series championship in 2003 for Xpress Motorsports.

Charge Me will be as an associate sponsor on the bedtop of Smith’s No. 18 Tundra TRD Pro for 16 races this season, including this weekend at Darlington. Charge Me was founded on the principle that the electric vehicle (EV) revolution will require robust infrastructure support at all levels.

    Chandler Smith, Driver Q&A:
Will getting to race in the Xfinity Series the last two weeks while the Truck Series was off benefit you?
“Getting seat time in any race vehicle always helps no matter what, so it was good to get behind the wheel of Sam Hunt’s Xfinity car for two weeks while the Truck Series was off. I have to thank ChargeMe and QuickTie for being apart of my Xfinity Series debut, I couldn’t have had the opportunity without their support.”

You’ve shown a lot of speed in your previous starts at Darlington. Is there something about that track that fits your driving style?
“Darlington is a lot of fun to race at. It’s a wore out track that you have to take care of your tires and having that characteristic definitely matches my background coming up Super Late Model racing. We’ve been really fast the first three times I’ve gone there but didn’t get the finishes we deserved. Looking forward to trying to get the Safelite Tundra TRD Pro in victory lane Friday night.”

You’ve been a big proponent of getting practices back, will having practice this time around at Darlington?
“It was definitely hard the last few years as a young driver going to tracks and just lining up and racing. Even though practice time is limited most places this year, it gives me the opportunity as a driver to get a feel for the truck and work with Danny (Stockman, crew chief) to get the balance of the Safelite Tundra TRD Pro more to my liking for the start of the race. The past couple of years you would have to wait until the first pit stop to make an adjustment and if you did anything substantial it would cost you spots on pit road and put you behind. We’ve been close at Darlington the last few times, so hopefully having practice is a difference maker.”

    Chandler Smith Career Highlights:

    • Across 44 career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts has recorded three wins, 362 laps led, 17 top-five and 22 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 14.2.
    • Earned NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Rookie of the Year honors in 2021 and finished eighth in the championship standings after producing two victories, one pole, 213 laps led, six top-five and nine top-10 finishes in his first full-time season. He earned his first career Truck Series victory at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway in September and in the series finale at Phoenix (Ariz.) Raceway earned his first career pole and swept all three stages en route to his second victory.
    • Has posted an average finish of 29.5 across two NASCAR Xfinity Series starts in 2022, with a best result of 22nd coming at Dover (Del.) Motor Speedway.
    • Has collected nine wins, 10 poles, 1783 laps led, 22 top-five and 29 top-10 finishes en route to an average finish of 5.4 across 34 career ARCA Menards Series starts.
    • Has numerous Super Late Model victories across his career, including two marquee wins: the Snowball Derby at 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Fla. (2021) and SpeedFest at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, Georgia (2018). Will compete in several Super Late Model events around his Truck Series schedule in 2022.

Chandler Smith’s No. 18 Safelite Tundra:

KBM-70: The No. 18 Safelite team will unload KBM-70 for Friday night’s race at Darlington. This Tundra has won the last two races it entered as Smith collected his first victory of 2022 at Las Vegas in March in its lone appearance this season and won with it in the 2021 season finale at Phoenix Raceway. KBM-70 was also the chassis Smith was behind the wheel of when he posted a seventh-place finish at Darlington last September.
    KBM-70 Performance Profile

    KBM Notes of Interest:

    • KBM drivers have collected one win, 95 laps led, three top-five and six top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 14.0 across 11 starts at Darlington. Kasey Kahne led a race-high 95 laps en route to victory in the 2011 event.
    • KBM holds the Camping World Truck Series records for most career wins (92) and most wins in a single season (14 in 2014). With his victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway Corey Heim became the 18th different driver to win a Truck Series event for KBM. In addition to collecting a series-record seven Owner’s Championships, the organization has produced two championship-winning drivers: Erik Jones (2015) and Christopher Bell (2017).
    • The No. 18, the number which was on the first Tundra that went to victory lane for KBM in 2010, has 24 career victories.

    Nemechek #Back4More in 2022:
John Hunter Nemechek and the No. 4 Mobil 1 team return to action this weekend at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway after a two week break in Camping World Truck Series action. After the first six races of the 2022 campaign, Nemechek sits fifth in the Camping World Truck Series championship standings, 62 tallies behind ThorSport Racing driver Ben Rhodes in first. The talented wheelman’s three straight top-five finishes (Circuit of the Americas, Martinsville, and Bristol Dirt) have helped him gain three positions in the championship standings over that span. After six races Nemechek leads all Truck Series drivers in average running position (7.453), is second among Truck Series regulars with 85 laps led and ranks fourth in driver rating (99.1).

The 24-year-old driver will be making just his third start at Darlington in the Camping World Truck Series. In his first two starts, he has tallied 104 laps led, one top-five, and two top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 5.0. In last year’s Spring event, Nemechek led a race-high 65 laps and earned a Stage Two win before getting turned into the outside wall while leading on a restart with just under 30 laps remaining. In three NASCAR Cup Series starts at the “The Lady in Black”, Nemechek has one top-10 finish, when he finished ninth in May 2020. He finished 21st in his lone Xfinity Series start at the South Carolina track.

Nemechek is an 11-time winner in Camping World Truck Series action, winning at least one race each season from 2015 to 2018 for his family-owned team, NEMCO Motorsports, and returning to victory lane in 2021 with KBM. Across 130 career starts in NASCAR’s third division, he has compiled three poles, 1,266 laps led, 43 top-five and 69 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 12.6.

The Toyota Racing driver made his fourth NASCAR Xfinity Series start of the season behind the wheel of the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 18 GR Supra at Dover (Del.) Motor Speedway last weekend. Nemechek was relegated to a 39th-place finish after experiencing brake failure in Stage Two. Nemechek will be pulling double duty at Darlington this weekend, competing in the Xfinity Series with Sam Hunt Racing. In his first two starts piloting the No. 26 Toyota GR Supra, Nemechek has recorded a 12th-place finish at Las Vegas and a fifth-place finish at Phoenix where he led 11 laps.

Eric Phillips returned to lead the No. 4 team in 2022. His 41 career Truck Series victories make him the winningest crew chief in Truck Series history, with 32 of those coming while at KBM including five last year. Phillips led the No. 18 team at KBM in its debut season in 2010 and helped build the organization into one of the premier teams in all of NASCAR before departing at the end of the 2014 season. Under his guidance, the No. 18 team won eight races in its inaugural campaign and became the first team in Truck Series history to capture an owner’s championship in its first season of competition. In 2014, the Illinois native led the No. 51 team to an owner’s championship and his team’s 10 wins spearheaded KBM to a single-season Truck Series record of 14 wins. Phillip’s has been atop the box for five starts at Darlington. In those five starts, his drivers have tallied one win (Kasey Kahne – 2011), 199 laps led, two top-five, and three top-ten finishes resulting in an average finish of 10.2.

The world’s leading synthetic motor oil, Mobil 1, will return as the primary sponsor of the No. 4 Tundra TRD Pro. Mobil 1 recently made the switch from a matte black look to a matte white finishing with the Mobil 1 Pegasus returning to the side of the truck. Mobil 1 will continue the new paint scheme throughout the remainder of the 2022 season.

    John Hunter Nemechek, Driver Q&A:
You had really strong runs last year at Darlington, are you looking forward to going back there?
“I’m really looking forward to getting back to Darlington this weekend as I feel like we had two really strong Toyota Tundra TRD Pro’s there last year and had a shot to win both races. After having some momentum on our side the last few weeks, I feel good about our chances going into this weekend.”

You’ll have Xfinity practice and qualifying right before the truck race on Friday, will that extra track time be beneficial?
“I think anytime you can be on track, the more the better. Understanding which way the racetrack is going and how it’s changing, how the rubber is being laid down while lines come into effect, I think that there’s a lot of information that you can learn from that.”

Are you looking forward to having a stretch of eight straight races in the Truck Series?
“Man, I’m excited. I don’t feel like a lot of guys are used to eight weeks in a row in the Truck Series, so I feel like it’s going to take a lot of effort and determination to continue to work hard every single week and put your best foot forward. Looking to Put FR8 Auctions in Victory Lane at Darlington

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (May 4, 2022) – Zane Smith is ready to get back to racing this weekend at the Darlington (S.C.) Raceway. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is coming off a two week break after Smith finished 10th on the dirt at the Bristol Motor Speedway.

Smith enters this Friday’s race fourth in the driver standings and is currently the only driver in the Truck Series with two win this season. The team hopes to add a third this weekend in Darlington- especially for partner Fr8 Auctions.

“I’m itching to get back behind the wheel this weekend at Darlington,” Smith stated. “It’s been a long two weeks, but not without a lot of hard work. The guys have been putting in a big effort for Darlington and I feel good about the truck we are preparing.”

Smith is excited to have Fr8 Auctions back on his Ford F-150 at Darlington, a track that has been kind to him in the past.

“I enjoy racing at Darlington,” said Smith. “It’s one of those tracks that you have to find a good rhythm to be fast, and I like that challenge. And I really want to take Fr8 Auctions to victory lane for Front Row Motorsports. They are a loyal partner to Bob (owner Bob Jenkins) and their truck looks cool. KRIS WRIGHT HONORS RON HORNADAY JR. AND VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS WITH THROWBACK SCHEME FOR DARLINGTON

Mooresville, N.C. (May 4, 2022)—Kris Wright pays tribute to Ron Hornaday Jr. with a throwback paint scheme that will appear on the Niece Motorsports No. 44 Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Dead On Tools 200 at the Darlington (S.C.) Raceway on Friday, May 6.

For the Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR, Wright will honor the four-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion and 2018 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee. In 2022 Wright joined Team Hornaday Development, mentored by Hornaday, as a member of the driver development program.

The Niece Motorsports No.

In 2009, Hornaday won five straight NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races, a feat matched only three other times in NASCAR national series history. Hornaday’s fourth win came at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park on Friday, July 24, 2009, in the No. 33 VFW Chevrolet Silverado.

Wright sought the approval from former team owners Kevin and DeLana Harvick and the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States for the paint scheme.

“The VFW is honored to be represented on the No. 44 Chevrolet Silverado as part of NASCAR’s ‘Throwback Weekend,’” Kevin Jones, adjutant general of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, said. “We fondly remember our marks emblazoned on KHI’s No. 33 Chevrolet Silverado driven by champion driver Ron Hornaday Jr., and while we recall the many wins and broken records, we were most grateful for the opportunity to keep the service and sacrifice of veterans at the forefront of America’s minds.”

Jones is one of the original developers of the VFW NASCAR program.

In the month of May, the entire NASCAR community unites for a collective expression of reverence, respect, and gratitude for those who served and continue to defend the country through NASCAR Salutes Together with Coca-Cola. Niece Motorsports is owned by United States Marine Corps Veteran Al Niece, a Vietnam War veteran. Wright Automotive is a supporter of various military support groups through dealership programs in Pennsylvania.

Corey Heim – No. 51 JBL Tundra TRD Pro Camping World Trucks Darlington Preview

Corey Heim: Driver, No. 51 JBL® Toyota

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Overview:
    Event: Dead on Tools 200, Race 7 of 23, 147 Laps –45/45/57; 200.1 Miles
    Location: Darlington (S.C.) Raceway (1.336-mile egg-shaped oval)
    Date/Broadcast: May 6, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR 90

    The Story on Corey:
Over a month after winning his first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, Corey Heim makes his long-awaited return to the No. 51 JBL Tundra TRD Pro Friday night at Darlington Raceway. Heim’s win was extra special as the Georgia driver executed a last-lap pass on his Kyle Busch Motorsports teammate Chandler Smith at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the same venue he cut his racing teeth on the quarter-mile-track located on the frontstretch, to pick up his first Truck Series triumph in just his firth series start. While he hasn’t raced since his win at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March, Heim has traveled with the No. 51 to all three races on the schedule since then to observe and learn.

Heim made three NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts in 2021, with a best result of 11th coming at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. Heim had an impressive Truck Series debut at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway last May, where he led two laps, finished Stage Two in the runner-up position and was running second when he got turned from behind on a restart with just under 30 laps remaining. The incident forced him to the garage and ended his night with a disappointing 23rd-place finish.

Despite not being slated for a full-time schedule this year, Heim is competing for the 2022 Sunoco Rookie of the Year award. Despite competing in only two of six events this season, he sits fourth in the standings, 32 points behind Lawless Alan. Heim will look to join three other KBM drivers that have won the award, reigning winner Chandler Smith, William Byron (2016) and Erik Jones (2015).

In addition to his part-time Camping World Truck Series schedule, the 19-year-old driver is running six-race schedule in the ARCA Menards Series for Venturini Motorsports. Heim led 74 of 90 laps en route to the victory at Daytona in February to pick up his eighth career ARCA Menards Series victory. Across 38 career ARCA Menards Series starts has 588 laps led, 28 top-five and 37 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 4.1. Heim finished second to Ty Gibbs in the 2021 ARCA Menards Series championship standings. The Toyota Racing Development product collected six wins, three poles, 406 laps led, 16 top-five and 20 top-10 finishes and produced an average finish of 3.1 across 20 starts.

Mardy Lindley returns to KBM for his second season atop the pit box of the No. 51 team. In addition to this year’s with Heim, the No. 51 team produced three victories in Lindley’s first season as a crew chief at KBM, two with owner-driver Kyle Busch and one with Martin Truex Jr. Before arriving at KBM, Lindley guided his drivers to 32 wins and four ARCA Menards Series East championships since 2013, including back-to-back titles with Sam Mayer the last two seasons. Additionally, he earned the ARCA Menards Series Sioux Chief Showdown championship with Mayer in 2020. Behind the wheel, the second-generation driver won 11 races on the Pro Cup Series from 2000 to 2006 and was crowned the series champion in 2001. Lindley’s best result across two starts calling the shots at Darlington was Heim’s 23rd-place result last May.

JBL, the authority in engineering superior sound, returns to KBM for an eighth season and will be the primary sponsor on Heim’s Toyota for 10 races this season including Friday’s race at Darlington. Crescent Tools, a premier hand tool brand from Apex Tool Group, will serve as a primary sponsor for four of Heim’s races, beginning July 29 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis (Ind.) Raceway Park.

    Corey Heim, Driver Q&A:
Now that you have had time to digest it, how does it feel to be a winner in the Camping World Truck Series?
“It feels so surreal. Ever since I was a kid, I had dreamed of racing in the Truck Series, and to win at my home track with KBM and Toyota was so special. Aside from that, it takes some pressure off of me, although the goal to win races remains the same.”

That win in Atlanta was the last time you’ve been behind the wheel of a truck. How hard has it been to go over a month without racing in the Truck Series?
“It’s definitely tough to sit on the sidelines while other drivers rotate in and out of the No. 51 Tundra TRD Pro but being able to go to all of the races so far this year and be a part of the team has taught me a lot about what goes into a successful race team.”

You showed a lot of speed last year at Darlington in your Truck Series debut but got taken out in an accident. Is this a race you’ve had circled on your calendar since your schedule for this year was announced?
“Darlington is certainly a race I’ve had circled on my calendar. With the experience I’ve gained since my debut there last year, I’m excited to go back and put everything I’ve learned to the test.”

    Corey Heim Career Highlights:

    • Picked up first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway March 19, 2022 in just his fifth start. Across five career starts has one win, 22 laps led, one top-five and one top-10 finish resulting in an average finish of 17.0.
    • Made three Truck Series starts in 2021 with a best result of 11th coming at Martinsville Speedway in October.
    • Finished runner-up in the ARCA Menards Series championship standings in 2021 after collecting six wins, three poles, 406 laps led, 16 top-five and 20 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 3.1 across 20 starts.
    • Across 38 career ARCA Menards Series starts has eight wins, 588 laps led, 28 top-five and 37 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 4.1. Picked up his first career ARCA Menards Series victory at Kansas Speedway Oct. 16, 2020.

Corey Heim’s No. 51 JBL Tundra TRD Pro:
KBM-69: The No. 51 JBL team will unload KBM-69 for Friday’s 147-lap event at Darlington. This is the same Tundra TRD Pro that Heim drove in his Truck Series debut last year at Darlington when he led two laps and ran inside the top five for the majority of the first two stages before being relegated to a 23rd-place finish after getting caught up in a wreck in the Final Stage. Kyle Busch earned a runner-up finish with this Toyota at Las Vegas in March in its lone start in 2022.

With his victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway Heim became the 18th different driver to win a Truck Series event for KBM. In addition to collecting a series-record seven Owner’s Championships, the organization has produced two championship-winning drivers: Erik Jones (2015) and Christopher Bell (2017).
    • With 38 victories, the No. 51 is the winningest number in KBM’s Truck Series fleet.
