CircleBDiecast.com and Niece Motorsports Team up for the Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt

    MOORESVILLE, N.C. (March 23, 2021)
     – CircleBDiecast.com will serve as a primary partner for Brett Moffitt, Ryan Truex and Kyle Larson in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday, March 27.

“Plan B Sales and Circle B have really stepped up to support our race team over the past few seasons, and I’m excited to see that commitment to our team continue to grow,” said Niece Motorsports General Manager Cody Efaw.  “Our whole organization is excited to race on dirt this weekend in Bristol.  We are looking forward to an exciting race and putting on a good show for the fans and our partners.”

Moffitt’s No. 45 CircleBDiecast.com Chevrolet will pay homage to dirt-racing legend ‘Barefoot’ Bob McCreadie.

“This a really special opportunity to honor Barefoot Bob and his contributions to dirt racing,” said Moffitt.  “Our CircleBDiecast.com Chevrolet looks great.  I’m really excited about this weekend’s race.  It’s going to be a challenge, but I also think it will be a lot of fun.  Hopefully, we can make Bob proud.”

McCreadie, an incredibly accomplished race car driver, raced across the United States, Australia, and Canada.  He is credited with 507 wins, from 1975-2005.

“I’m honored that Niece Motorsports is running a paint scheme that so many people in the Northeast saw race every Saturday night,” said McCreadie.  “I’ll be watching the race and would love to see those colors up front again.”

McCreadie’s 29 point championships and eight series championships earned him a place in the DIRT MotorSports Hall of Fame along with Eastern Motorsports Press Association Hall of Fame.

“Racers like Bob McCreadie are the reason I got into racing, and it’s an honor to recognize his contributions to the sport,” said Efaw.  “He was one of the best, racing against teams with much larger budgets.  People like Bob are what make racing great.”

In addition to Rich Mar Florist, Larson’s No. 44 Chevrolet Silverado will carry the CircleBDiecast.com colors.

“Brent and Ladonna are such great people,” said Larson.  “They have always supported me and my dirt racing, so it’s cool to have CircleB as a sponsor on my truck.”

Larson has built an extensive and impressive racing resume with more than 250 career race wins.  The 28-year-old driver has won in every racing circuit he has competed in. Most notably, Larson has earned seven victories in the premier NASCAR Cup Series and won the prestigious Chili Bowl Midget Nationals twice in 2020 and 2021, the NASCAR All-Star Race in 2019, and the Rolex 24 at Daytona in 2015.

He also won the 2011 4-Crown Nationals at Eldora Speedway, winning in all three types of USAC cars in a single night, only the second driver in history to accomplish the feat.

In 2020 Larson turned in one of the most impressive years in the history of dirt-track racing.  While primarily driving sprint cars, he racked up 46 victories in 97 attempts. Larson led the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in victories with 12 despite competing in only 26 of its 54 events and he secured his first Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series win.

“We’ve been fortunate enough to experience success with Kyle on the dirt and we are hoping to see that continue this weekend across the board with Niece Motorsports,” said CircleBDiecast.com Owner Brent Powell.  “It’s a dream come true to have three CircleBDiecast.com trucks in this race, we are thrilled and are excited to see the trucks get on track.”

In addition, Truex will race a CircleBDiecast.com paint scheme in his No. 40 Chevrolet as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series prepares to race at Bristol Motor Speedway on dirt for the first time.

“Our CircleBDiecast.com Chevrolet looks great,” said Truex.  “I’m so appreciative of CircleB and Marquis’ support.  We would not be able to do this without their help.  I’m excited for Saturday night’s race.  I definitely think it’s going to be an entertaining night for all of the fans.”

Plan B Sales was founded in 2010 with the goal of bringing service to dealers that carry licensed motorsports product.  Plan B Sales started as a Lionel diecast and Chase Authentics apparel distributor.  Over the last few years Plan B Sales has grown to be the largest account for Lionel servicing the motorsports market and has expanded product offerings.

Plan B Sales has quickly become the choice of dealers for a stocking one-stop distributor.  Its product offering also includes Auto World, Greenlight Collectibles, BrandArt and are the exclusive distributor for University of Racing product lines.

In September of 2020, Plan B Sales decided to split its wholesale and retail business into two different websites to better serve each segment of customers, effectively launching CircleBDiecast.com.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will be on track Friday, March 26 for practice, and will race on Saturday, March 27 at 8:00 p.m. ET, airing live on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

  • Chandler Smith – No. 18 JBL Tundra Camping World Trucks Bristol Dirt Race Preview

Chandler Smith – No. 18 JBL Tundra Camping World Trucks Bristol Dirt Race Preview

Chandler Smith: Driver, No. 18 JBL® Toyota

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Overview:
    Event: Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt, Race 5 of 22, 150 Laps – 40/50/60; 75 Miles
Location: Bristol Motor (Tenn.) Speedway (half-mile dirt oval)
    Date/Broadcast: March 27, 2021 at 8 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR 90

    Mr. Smith Goes Dirt Racing:

    • Chandler Smith and the No. 18 JBL team tackle the dirt track at Bristol Motor Speedway in Saturday’s Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt. For Smith, who cut his racing teeth on pavement, it will be his first start in any on a dirt track. Knowing that he didn’t have any dirt experience, the 18-year-old rookie headed to Cherokee (S.C.) Speedway earlier this month and turned over 400 laps in a Sportsman Late Model in order to prepare for this race.
    • Smith will also get two 50-minute practice sessions on Friday and a 15-lap heat race on Saturday to dial in his JBL Tundra before Saturday night’s 150-lap race. While the lineups for the heat races will be determined by a random draw, the starting grid for the race will be determined by a formula that weighs finishing position plus positions gained during each heat race. Drivers finishing first in their heats earn 10 points, second place earns nine, third place earns eight and so forth. Additionally, drivers earn one passing point for each position gained in their heat; there are no points deductions or “negative points” for drivers who lose positions in their heats. One other noticeable difference you will see during Saturday’s race is that there will not be live pit stops. The only time that teams will be permitted to change tires, add fuel or work on their vehicles will be during the stage breaks. Scoring will be frozen during stage breaks, but those who elect not to pit will be scored ahead of those who elect to hit pit road during the break for the ensuing restart.
    • While this will be the first dirt race at Bristol Motor Speedway for the Camping World Truck Series, the series competed at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from 2013 to 2019. Kyle Busch Motorsports captured two victories at Eldora. Darrell Wallace Jr. led a race-high 97 laps en route to victory in the 2014 event and Christopher Bell led a race-high 106 laps in his 2015 triumph. The truckers will race a second dirt race July 9 at Knoxville (Iowa) Speedway.
    • Smith is coming of a disappointing race at Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS) in Hampton, Ga. The Georgia native, who grew up racing on the quarter-mile track at AMS, suffered a parts failure in his first career NASCAR start at his home state track and after two trips to pit road to fix it under green-flag conditions was relegated to a 35th-place finish. The poor finish caused Smith to fall six spots to 11th in the Camping World Truck Series championship standings. He also fell to second in the Sunoco Rookie of the Year standings, where he trails Carson Hocevar by one point. Smith has been awarded the rookie of the race award in two of the four events this season.
    • The Toyota Development Driver has finished inside the top five in eight of his 20 career Camping World Truck Series starts, including a career-best runner-up finish at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway in 2019.
    • Veteran crew chief Danny Stockman will call the shots for Smith and the No. 18 team this season. Stockman led the No. 51 team to four wins in his first season atop the pit box at KBM in 2020. He came to the organization with experience as a crew chief in all three national series, including a Truck Series championship with Austin Dillon in 2011 and an XFINITY Series championship with Dillon in 2013. Stockman has crew chiefed one NASCAR dirt race, a fifth-place finish with Ty Dillon in the 2014 race at Eldora.
    • JBL, the authority in engineering superior sound, will be the primary sponsor for the No. 18 team this week at the Bristol dirt race and at the series next stop April 17 at Richmond (Va.) Raceway. Safelite AutoGlass – the nation’s largest provider of vehicle glass repair, replacement, and recalibration services – returns to Smith’s Tundra May 1at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City.

    Chandler Smith, Driver Q&A:

Do you have any experience racing on dirt?
“I did a sportsman late model test down at Cherokee Speedway in South Carolina. I’m not sure what the specs are of the late model. I know that it is the same body style of the dirt super late model. It went really well. I loved it. I think it was a bad idea that I did it because I opened a new can of worms. I enjoyed it a lot.”

Have you and your crew chief talked about a strategy for Saturday’s race?
“We already talked about it. It’s going to be all about survival. Being there at the end, I feel like we will be in contention for the win.”

Do you have any expectations for this weekend?
“I just want to put together race. We’ve had some bad luck here the past few weeks I feel like. I’m looking forward to getting my No. 18 JBL Tundra back out front.”

Are you looking forward to having two practice sessions this week?
“Yes, I’ve missed practice. Once it gets taken away, it’s like everyone takes it for granted when it’s actually here and everybody wants it back. I am definitely looking forward to having practice.”

    Chandler Smith Career Highlights:

    • Across 20 career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts has recorded 115 laps led, eight top-five and 10 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 13.6.
    • Posted an average finish of 7.7 across his final seven of 12 total Truck Series starts in 2020, including third-place finishes in the series finale at Phoenix (Ariz.) Raceway and his first career superspeedway start at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway in October.
    • Produced three top-five and four top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 4.2 across his first four career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts in 2019. He led 55 laps and finished eighth in his Gander Trucks debut at Iowa Speedway last July and then posted top-five finishes in his final three starts, including a runner-up finish at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway.
    • Has collected nine wins, 10 poles, 1761 laps led, 22 top-five and 29 top-10 finishes en route to an average finish of 5.2 across 33 career ARCA Menards Series starts. Set an ARCA Racing Series record by winning four consecutive poles to start his career and earned his first victory after leading a race-high 102 laps at Madison (Wis.) International Speedway in his fourth series start.
    • Chandler Smith’s No. 18 JBL Tundra:
    • KBM-25: The No. 18 JBL team will unload chassis number KBM-25 for Saturday’s Pinty’s Truck Race on dirt. In its most recent outing, Todd Gilliland won with this Tundra at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway in October of 2019. The truck has two other career wins, 2017 with Noah Gragson at Martinsville and 2016 at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Ill. with Christopher Bell. In its lone dirt outing, Gilliland finished fifth with KBM-25 in 2019 at Eldora Speedway.

    KBM Notes of Interest:

    • KBM drivers have collected two wins, one pole, 302 laps led, six top-five and 12 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 11.8 across 20 starts on dirt tracks, all coming at Eldora Speedway. Darrell Wallace Jr. led a race-high 97 laps en route to victory in the 2014 event at Eldora and Christopher Bell led a race-high 106 laps in his 2015 triumph.
    • KBM holds the Camping World Truck Series records for most career wins (82) and most wins in a single season (14 in 2014). With his victory at Las Vegas earlier this season, John Hunter Nemecheck became the 15th different driver to win a Truck Series event for KBM. In addition to collecting a series-record seven Owner’s Championships, the organization has produced two championship-winning drivers: Erik Jones (2015) and Christopher Bell (2017).
    • The No. 18, the number which was on the first Tundra that went to victory lane for KBM in 2010, has 21 career victories.

    TOYOTA QUOTES

KYLE BUSCH, No. 51 Cessna Toyota Tundra, Kyle Busch Motorsports
    Finishing Position: 1st

What does winning, especially the way you did today, do for you mentally?

“It’s just a great opportunity to race in great stuff with KBM (Kyle Busch Motorsports), Cessna Beechcraft. This Toyota Tundra was awesome. I can’t say enough about my guys, everybody at Kyle Busch Motorsports. They do such a great job with a lot of hard work. Without their preparation and dedication, we wouldn’t be as successful as we’ve been as an organization. It’s great to get back to Victory Lane. It’s cool to get back to Victory Lane in Billy Ballew’s (former NCWTS team owner) backyard here in Atlanta. We carried the Billy Ballew Motorsports decal today. If you need a deal on a sweet used car, go see him in Dawsonville. All of the Chase Elliott fans want to go there, but tell them that I sent ya.”

Marty Lindley, your crew chief, you brought him to KBM. He got his first win today. What does he bring to this team?

“It’s just a part of good people, having good people. Coach (Joe Gibbs) always says you have to have good people to have success. We’ve had great people, and we’ve had good people too and it’s just a matter of evolving. This sport is ever-changing. Six months from now the setups will be different again. It’s cool to have fresh ideas, different concepts and things that we can continue and try and continue to improve. It’s good to see John Hunter (Nemechek) come home with another top-three today with him racing for a championship this year, that’s important. Certianly, I want to give a shoutout to Samantha (Busch) and Brexton (Busch) at home. Brexton is racing tomorrow, so he didn’t make it this weekend, so good luck buddy. Thank you to Rowdy Energy, Murphy USA for being on board today.”

Did you think win 60 in the Truck Series was attainable?

“Yeah, obviously I thought we had a great truck at the start of the race. We just kept working on it all day. We were loose to start and we got it a lot better there. That final stage, we just took off and it was super fast, super good. Can’t say enough about everybody at Kyle Busch Motorsports – thank you. Thank you to Cessna Beechcraft, TRD, Toyota and Rowdy Energy, Murphy USA. Billy Ballew, if you need a used car in the Dawsonville area, I know that’s Chase Elliott country, but tell them that Kyle Busch sent you.”

What contributions has Marty Lindley made to Kyle Busch Motorsports thus far?

“It’s all about great people. You win with great people in this sport and we’ve had great people and we still have good people. Just bringing Marty (Lindley, crew chief) on has been a refresher if you will. Six months from now, setups may not be the same and so just having some of those fresh ideas and some of those different concepts that we can apply to our Tundras to make sure we can go out there and continue to win and have good days like we did with John Hunter (Nemechek) and myself and race for that championship.”

Did you leave Las Vegas wanting to win in this series that much more?

“Yeah, absolutely. Anytime I’m in my truck I want to be able to go out there and score the victory. With good competition and good competitors, it’s not easy. With John Hunter (Nemechek) coming on board, at Vegas he was super fast and did everything right, no mistakes. We’ll go back and regroup and make sure that 4 (Nemechek) truck can stay in front of that 16 (Austin Hill) truck the rest of this year.”

AUSTIN HILL, No. 16 United Rentals Toyota Tundra, Hattori Racing Enterprises
    Finishing Position: 2nd

Second for the second year in a row in Atlanta. You could match Kyle Busch’s speed, but was it just early in the run where you gave some up?

“Yeah, when we had that last restart. I was trying to save my tires a little bit. I didn’t want to kill them right off the bat. When it was go time, I started matching Kyle’s (Busch) lap times. We had a green flag pit stop, got out in second. The pit crew did an awesome job today, but yeah, I kind of gave that gap up and I could never close it. I was matching his lap times, but I need to be a little bit quicker. Our United Rentals Toyota Tundra was really fast today. We had to fight a little bit of adversity today with restarts and stuff that happened on the race track. We had to rebound, but all in all, a solid day. I wish we were racing here again because I love Atlanta Motor Speedway. It’s my home track. I can’t thank the fans enough for coming out and watching today. It was awesome to have you guys back. I just wish I could have got the job done. This is a fun place to run.”

What more did you need on the final long run to catch Kyle Busch?

“The biggest thing was when we had that last restart and we had the long run, I didn’t race the 4 (John Hunter Nemechek) has hard as I should have. I kind of let him go instead of racing for that second spot and I let them kind of get out and I was saving tires just trying not to slip the right-front or right-rear, just trying to keep the tires on it. Right when I started going and we were about to pit, the last 10 or 15 laps, I was really trying to go. I could run what Kyle (Busch) was running and every now and then I would run a little faster, but I just got too far of a gap on that restart and that’s really what cost us there at the end of the race. When we all had our pit stops, my pit crew did awesome, I got out in second and actually closed on Kyle a little bit after those pit sequences. I would run a little faster than he would, he would run a little faster than me and we were just kind of going back and forth. Traffic played a bit factor in today. All in all, it was a solid day for our United Rentals Toyota Tundra. Just stings a little bit. I want to win here so bad. I wish we were coming here again. I wish we raced here at least twice a year. Such a fun place to come to. You’re slipping and sliding, you’re up on the wheel each and every lap so it’s so much fun. Thank the fans for coming out. Just needed a little more at the end there. I needed to fire off a little harder there and not let them get so far out. I can beat Kyle, I just didn’t today. I ended up being second to him.”

JOHN HUNTER NEMECHEK, No. 4 Mobil 1 Toyota Tundra, Kyle Busch Motorsports
    Finishing Position: 3rd

What did you need to catch the top-two in today’s race?

“Needed a little bit of a different adjustment there at the end. We were off a little bit, I felt like, all day. Overall, not terrible. Just proud of all my guys here at KBM (Kyle Busch Motorsports). This Mobil 1 Toyota Tundra was fast all day. I don’t know what happened there on that green flag pit stop, but I’ll have to go back and study some. I don’t know if I gave up too much getting to pit road or what. It seems like that’s where we ended up getting beat and then it kind of transferred to the race track and made it even bigger. Overall, proud of the performance, great points day and won both stages. Came home third. All we can do is keep clicking away at these top-threes and our wins are definitely coming.”

Was the tire fall-off what you expected on the longer green flag runs?

“I know I ran the truck race here last year, but we had damage early and really didn’t get to understand that. I haven’t been here in a truck in probably four years or three years, something like that and actually have been decent. It’s a little bit different getting back to the Truck Series and having less sets of tires and what not, but overall, fun day and solid performance.”

Couldn’t quite out-do the boss today, but how was your run overall?

“I felt like we were strong in stage one and stage two. I felt like we could hang with Kyle (Busch), and then we got around in him in lap traffic at the end of the stages. Solid points day overall for our Mobil 1 Toyota Tundra. I can’t thank everyone at KBM (Kyle Busch Motorsports) enough and all of our partners for supporting this deal. Overall, I’m happy with the day, but I’m disappointed. I was hoping to beat Kyle today, but I didn’t have anything for him there at the end. I’ve got to go study some green flag pit stop stuff and get better there. It’s always a work in progress. We will be back next week at Bristol dirt and hopefully go get us a win there.”

JOHNNY SAUTER, No. 13 Vivitar/RealTree Toyota Tundra, ThorSport Racing
    Finishing Position: 4th

Can you describe your race and the adjustments that had to be made both on pit road and behind the wheel?

“We just got behind there, we had a fuel can issue or something on those first stops so we had to go to the back. I knew in the first 15 laps that we has a really good Vivitar Toyota. We just had to bide our time and get track position back. I think we were close to the top-10 by the end of the second stage. Just had really good long run speed. Really proud of Joe (Shear, crew chief) and everybody at ThorSport. Thank Toyota, TRD, Vivitar – this is the kind of run that you need, especially when the year started out the way that it had. We had speed, got a little bit of work to do, but a long ways from where we were in Las Vegas. Just proud of everybody.”

  • Kyle Busch Dominates the Fr8Auctions 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway

Kyle Busch Dominates the Fr8Auctions 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway

HAMPTON, Ga. (March 20, 2021) – Kyle Busch dominated the last 30 laps and finished more than four seconds ahead of the field to win the Fr8Auctions 200 on Saturday at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

It was his 60th Camping World Series Truck race victory.

“It’s always cool to get back to victory lane,” Busch said. “And it’s good to see John Hunter come home with a top-3 today, too. Obviously him racing for a championship, that’s important.”

John Hunter Nemechek, as the standings leader, started on the pole. The 23-year-old was coming off a win in Las Vegas on March 5 where he held off his team owner, Busch. It set up another showdown between the two Toyotas in Atlanta.

At least until Busch began to pull away from the field in the final stage. Nemechek finished third.

“I was hoping to beat Kyle, but I didn’t have anything for him at the end,” Nemechek said with a little laugh.

Austin Hill also made a significant move down the stretch, carving his way up to second, but there was no overcoming the gap to Busch. The runner-up finish was Hill’s best of the season.

“That last restart we had, I was trying to save my tires a little bit,” Hill said. “I didn’t want to kill them right off the bat. I started matching Kyle’s lap times and we had the green-flag restarts and got out in second. The pit crew did an awesome job today, but I gave that gap up and I could never close it. I needed to be a little quicker.”

The Winston Ga., native, who wore a UGA mask for his post-race TV interview, lamented this being the lone AMS stop for the trucks this season. Only the Cup and Xfinity Series return in July for the track’s second weekend of the 2021.

“All in all, a solid day,” Hill said. “I love Atlanta Motor Speedway, my home track. Can’t thank the fans enough for coming out. It was awesome to have you guys back. I just wish we could have gotten the job done and wish we could come back. This is a fun place to run.”

Johnny Sauter was fourth and Sheldon Creed, the only Chevy among a slew of Toyotas at the top of the standings, was fifth.

Zane Smith, Ross Chastain, Matt Crafton, Brett Moffitt and Stewart Friesen rounded out the top 10. Crafton (2015) and Moffitt (2018) are former winners at Atlanta. The 2020 winner, Grant Enfinger, was 11th.

It was just the fourth race of the 2021 season. Ben Rhodes won the first two at Daytona, on the super speedway and then the road course, in February.

L. 97-28 which authorized and requested the President to proclaim the week beginning March 7, 1982 as “Women’s History Week.” Throughout the next five years, Congress continued to pass joint resolutions designating a week in March as “Women’s History Week.” In 1987 after being petitioned by the National Women’s History Project, Congress passed Pub. L. 100-9 which designated the month of March 1987 as “Women’s History Month.” Between 1988 and 1994, Congress passed additional resolutions requesting and authorizing the President to proclaim March of each year as Women’s History Month. Since 1995, presidents have issued a series of annual proclamations designating the month of March as “Women’s History Month.” These proclamations celebrate the contributions women have made to the United States and recognize the specific achievements women have made over the course of American history in a variety of fields. CR7 Motorsports; Codie Rohrbaugh hope to keep the momentum rolling at Atlanta Motor Speedway

HAMPTON, Ga: After allowing Grant Enfinger to pinch-hit in the most recent NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway, CR7 Motorsports primary driver Codie Rohrbaugh returns to the seat for Saturday afternoon’s FR8 Auctions 200 at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway.

Rohrbaugh returns to the cockpit determined to keep the steady start to the 2021 Truck Series alive after Enfinger delivered the team’s second top-10 finish of the year in just three races overall.

In order to keep his team positioned nicely inside the top-10 in the Truck Series owner standings, Rohrbaugh knows he’ll need a much cleaner race at Atlanta’s 1.5-mile track Saturday than he experienced last summer in Hampton.

Rohrbaugh started 16th in last June’s Vet Tix | Camping World 200 but throughout the race, his No. 9 Grant County Mulch | CR7 Motorsports Garage Chevrolet Silverado suffered a series of flat tires and with little attrition during the race, they finished a disappointing 33rd.

This year, Rohrbaugh is hoping for a vast rebound.

“I’m looking forward to Atlanta this weekend, simply because of the good start to the season for everyone at CR7 Motorsports,” said Rohrbaugh. “Grant did a great job at Las Vegas and was able to deliver us another top-10 finish and give us some feedback that we feel should be beneficial in helping us strengthen our program throughout the year.

“Atlanta wasn’t too kind to us last year, but it’s a new year which means a new opportunity and I think we are capable of delivering another top-10 finish on Saturday afternoon.”

Despite missing Las Vegas, the 27-year-old Rohrbaugh remains comfortably inside the top-20 in the championship standings with 19 races remaining in 2021.

“The start to this season is much like it was last were the first couple of races were real good for our CR7 Motorsports team,” offered Rohrbaugh. “But the most important thing no matter who is behind the wheel is keeping the momentum on our side and keep learning and growing as a team.

“We’ll see where the cards are stacked at the end of the season. The championship may be out of reach because of the eligibility requirement, but surely top-fives, top-10s and maybe even a win aren’t out of the question and that will be our focus as the season moves along.”
With an average team finish of 10th in the first three races of 2021 with finishes of eighth, 16th and seventh in the first three races at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, the Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway Road Course and Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway respectively – Rohrbaugh said the team’s performances come from the hard work and dedication of his CR7 Motorsports brothers.

“I’m proud of everyone’s hard work so far this season,” added Rohrbaugh. “Whether it’s me or Grant behind the wheel, the team has been at it working hard to make sure our CR7 Motorsports trucks go to the track competitive and prepared to do battle.

“It would be great to earn another top-10 finish on Friday night and keep the momentum on our side ahead of the upcoming races.”

CR7 Motorsports has 30 NGOTS starts to their credit with a career-best finish of third at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway (February 2020). Additionally, the team owns five other top-10 finishes at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway (fifth) in October 2020, Richmond (Va.) Raceway (sixth) in September 2020, Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway (seventh | Grant Enfinger) in March 2021, Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway (eighth) in February 2021 and Martinsville (Va.) Speedway (10th) in October 2019. An 11th place qualifying effort at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway (Oct. 2019) is the team’s best time trials effort to date.

In 20 career ARCA starts, Rohrbaugh has a best finish of seventh twice at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway (July 2018 and Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway (February 2019). He has qualified a career-best fourth on four different occasions, most recently at Kansas Speedway (Oct. 2018).

Marketing partnership(s) opportunities are available for the No. 97 A.L.L. Construction | Grant County Mulch Chevrolet and No. 9 Grant County Mulch Chevrolet for the 2021 ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series seasons and beyond. Interested inquiries are encouraged to contact at tonya@gcmulch.com or 304.257.8783.

The FR8 Auctions 200 (130 laps | 200.02 miles) is the fourth of 22 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races on the 2021 schedule. The 40-truck field will take the green flag on Sat., Mar. 20, 2021, shortly after 2:30 p.m. ET with live coverage on FOX Sports 1, the Motor Racing Network (Radio) and SiriusXM Satellite Radio NASCAR Channel 90.

J.R. Heffner Partners with Jordan Anderson Racing for Bristol Dirt NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race

STATESVILLE, N.C. (March 18, 2021) – Jordan Anderson Racing (JAR) announced today that veteran Northeast Big Block Modified driver J.R. Heffner of Kinderhook, N.Y. will compete in the team’s flagship No. 3 Chevrolet Silverado for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS); Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Scheduled for Saturday, March 27 the dirt covered high-banks of the .5-mile Bristol Motor Speedway will mark the first time a top-tier NASCAR series has competed outside of the Eldora Speedway since returning to dirt tracks in 2013.

Being no stranger to dirt racing after having a successful Big Block Modified career, Heffner has jumped at the opportunity to compete with the NCWTS since the first event in 2013. Having now participated in five of the seven events Heffner claimed a Heat race win with a career best of 15th in the 2016 edition.

“I am extremely excited for this opportunity with Jordan Anderson Racing and crew chief Bruce Cook to get back in a NASCAR Camping World Truck on dirt, and of all places at the famed Bristol Motor Speedway,” said Heffner.

“After running the truck races at Eldora and having some success with it. I feel like I have a handle on the way these heavy trucks handle on the dirt, mix in Bruce Cook’s knowledge, and Jordan Anderson’s infrastructure this is going to be my best opportunity yet. With majority of my success in the Big Blocks coming at the high-banks of the Lebanon Valley Speedway in New York, I am hoping my experience there can easily translate to what the high-banks of Bristol is going to offer.”

Heffner’s No. 3 Chevrolet Silverado will dawn support from long-time partners; A Colarusso and Son, Inc., Upstate Utilities, Izzi Trucking and Rigging Inc, J Hunziker Paving and Scott Hamlin/Snap on Tools.

“To partner with someone like J.R., who has tons of dirt experience, having him step into our Chevy Silverado with our crew chief Bruce Cook for the Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt at Bristol, gives our team a great opportunity to run up front and come home with a great finish for our program.” said JAR president Jordan Anderson.

Live coverage of the Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt from the Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday, March 27th will be aired on FS1 and the Fox Sports APP, Motor Racing Network (MRN) and SiriusXM NASCAR Channel 90 at 8:00 P.M. EST.
