NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Press Release

  • Tate Fogleman returns to Young’s Motorsports for 2021 Truck Series season

Tate Fogleman returns to Young’s Motorsports for 2021 Truck Series season

MOORESVILLE, N.C.: Young’s Motorsports announced today that Tate Fogleman will return to the organization for the full 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) season beginning with the Feb. 12, 2021 running of the NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway.

With Fogleman’s return, Young’s Motorsports will return to a three-truck operation this season and re-introduce the No. 12 Chevrolet Silverado, a number the team utilized during the 2019 Truck Series season.

Considered a short track standout, Fogleman, 20, joined Young’s Motorsports full-time last season aboard the team’s flagship No. 02 Chevrolet Silverado entry. While the coronavirus pandemic presented its challenges for the rookie Truck Series driver with no practice or qualifying for most of the season, he posted numerous top-15 and top-20 finishes en-route to a 17th place finish in the championship standings.

His rookie season was highlighted by an impressive 13th place finish at Michigan International Speedway.

“I’m thrilled to return to Young’s Motorsports this season,” said Fogleman. “2020 certainly provided its challenges for everyone, including me but I’m taking that experience and think it will help us as we set out to accomplish a lot this year.”

The Durham, N.C.-native is a third-generation racer and son of Super Late Model and former NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Jay Fogleman.

Fogleman first climbed behind the wheel of a stock car at age seven and has not looked back.

At just 15 years old he became the youngest ever Pro All-Star Series (PASS) South Super Late Models champion. The High Point University student first joined Young’s Motorsports for three races in 2018 and returned in 2020 to tackle a full 23-race slate.

Longtime Fogleman marketing partner Solid Rock Carriers will launch his sophomore season as a partner on his No. 12 Chevrolet Silverado, with additional partners to be named later.

“Everyone on the team knows how driven I am to race and I’m ready to tackle the year head-on,” added Fogleman, a veteran of PASS and CARS Super Late Models. “I am really grateful to Tyler Young and the Young family for their support and this opportunity again in 2021.”

Ryan “Pickle” London will return to Young’s Motorsports this season and serve as crew chief of the No. 12 Chevrolet Silverado. Ironically, Loudon served as crew chief of the No. 12 Young’s Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado during the latter half of the 2019 Truck Series season.

“I’m excited to be back at Young’s Motorsports again,” said London. “I’m really looking forward to working with Tate too. He is a racer and like the rest of us, I know he will give 100% every lap.

“He had success in his first full-time year considering he had never seen and more less had any laps at most of the tracks he ran. I feel with the team Tyler (Young) has put together Tate’s sophomore season should be his best yet.”

“Our organization is thrilled to get Tate back into one of our trucks and expand the Young’s Motorsports organization back to three teams,” said team principal Tyler Young. “We’re very happy about our lineup and look forward to having another successful and memorable season.”

In addition to Fogleman, Young’s Motorsports will also field NASCAR Camping World Truck Series entries for Rookie of the Year candidate Kris Wright (No. 02 Chevrolet Silverado) and veteran driver Spencer Boyd (No. 20 Chevrolet Silverado).

Drew Dollar to Compete in Eight Races in the No. 51 Tundra

20-Year-Old Driver to Make Camping World Truck Series Debut at Daytona

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Jan. 28, 2021) – Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) announced today that Drew Dollar will make eight starts behind the wheel of the organization’s No. 51 Tundra in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2021 with Mardy Lindley as his crew chief. Dollar’s Tundra will feature primary sponsorship from Sunbelt Rentals, the premiere rental company in North America, JBL, the authority in engineering superior sound, and another sponsor to be named later.

Dollar will make his Camping World Trucks debut Feb. 12 behind the wheel of the No. 51 JBL Tundra in the season opening event at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway. The other races on his schedule will be Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway (May 28), Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth (June 12), Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway (June 18), Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway (Sept. 16), Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway (Sept. 24), Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway (Oct. 2) and the series finale at Phoenix (Ariz.) Raceway (Nov. 5).

The Toyota Racing Development driver finished fourth in the ARCA Menards Series championship standings in 2020 after recording one win, four top-five and 14 top-10 finishes across 20 starts. Dollar led 40 laps en route to his lone series victory at Talladega Superspeedway last June. He also finished inside the top 10 in both of his ARCA Menards Series starts in 2019, including a sixth-place finish in his series debut at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway. In addition to his part-time Camping World Truck Series schedule this season, he will also run 13 races on the ARCA Menards schedule this year.

“It’s an amazing opportunity to be taking the next step in my career running a part-time schedule in the Camping World Truck Series this year with Kyle Busch Motorsports and Toyota,” Dollar said. “I have a lot of hard work ahead of me learning a new series and driving a Tundra for the first time, but I’ll be surrounded by some of the best people in the industry. I look forward to the challenge. Thank you to all of my partners for supporting me and making this opportunity possible.”

“We’ve put an eight-race schedule together for Drew this year that will allow him to continue his development as a driver as he makes his first venture into the Camping World Truck Series,” Busch said. “Drew’s schedule includes several tracks where he was successful in the ARCA Menards Series last year, including Talladega where he won and Daytona where he finished third. We felt it was important to have him in the truck for stretches of races to give him consistent seat time and help the communication between him and Mardy Lindley. As a former driver himself, Mardy has been a great mentor to several young drivers in recent years, and we’re looking forward to seeing what he and Drew can do together this year.”

Dollar recorded two top-five and seven top-10 finishes with 49 laps led across eight NASAR K&N Pro Series East starts in 2019. He earned his first late model victory at South Boston (Va.) Speedway in June of 2019 and racked up numerous top-five and top-10 finishes that year. The Georgia native began his racing career in Bandoleros at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway in 2016 and in 2018 moved up to Legend Cars where he won 20 races across the country and was crowned the INEX Semi-Pro National Points champion.

In addition, the diecast retailer will adorn Moffitt’s No. 45 Chevrolet Silverado at Talladega Superspeedway later this season.

“Everyone at Circle B Diecast and Plan B Sales have been so supportive of my career,” said Moffitt. “I’m excited to start off the new year at Niece Motorsports with a familiar sponsor on our Chevrolet. I know it is a cliché to say that everyone in the shop has been working hard and is excited to get the season started, but it’s true. I’ve been able to spend a lot of time with the team this offseason and we are all ready to get rolling and see this CircleBDiecast.com truck on the track.”

In September of 2020, Plan B Sales decided to split its wholesale and retail business into two different websites to better serve each segment of customers, effectively launching CircleBDiecast.com.

“All of us at Plan B Sales and CircleBDiecast.com have enjoyed working with Brett and Niece Motorsports separately for the past two seasons,” said CircleBDiecast.com Owner Brent Powell. “It’s a perfect fit for us with Brett and Niece together this season. We’re eager to get the season rolling and can’t wait to see the CircleBDiecast.com truck in Daytona.”

The No. 45 CircleBDiecast.com Chevrolet will also race at Talladega in October, with a unique opportunity for fan involvement. More details will be announced closer to the race.

“We’ve been fortunate enough to work with the folks at Circle B Diecast and Plan B Sales and are excited to see that continue into this season,” said General Manager Cody Efaw. “We’re ready to get the season started with Brett, Carson and Ryan. We’re looking forward to a strong season from all three.”

Moffitt, the 2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion and 2015 NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year, has 12 wins, three poles and 39 top-five finishes in 82 career NCWTS starts.

In addition, the Iowa-native has 46 top-10 finishes and has led a total of 1,190 laps in his three seasons of full time NCWTS competition.

  • TIMOTHY PETERS TO DRIVE FOR RACKLEY W.A.R.

TIMOTHY PETERS TO DRIVE FOR RACKLEY W.A.R.

Rackley W.A.R. to Field the No. 25 Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series

Centerville, Tenn. (January 25, 2021)—Rackley W.A.R., co-owned by Willie Allen and Curtis Sutton, announced today
that their newly-formed team will field the No. 25 Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS)
with driver Timothy Peters. The team will begin full-time series competition at the Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway.

“It has always been a dream to be a NASCAR owner,” Allen said. “We are excited about the all-star team we have assembled. I am thankful to have partnered with Curtis Sutton, as we both are driven to succeed. Our team is assembled with very humble and hungry individuals, and we are a close family who want to achieve greatness.”

In December, the duo announced a partnership to form Rackley W.A.R., a new team in Tennessee with an unparalleled portfolio of experience in motorsports and marketing.

“I am excited and looking forward to this opportunity as an owner to help lead the No. 25 Rackley Roofing Chevrolet Silverado team to be competitive every single week,” Sutton said. “After being a sponsor (Rackley Roofing) for the last two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series seasons, I felt an obligation to my family, my co-workers and my friends to help build a competitive team.

“The pieces have been put together for our first season. Our focus was to find humble individuals that are proven winners
at the highest level to join our team. There is a lot of excitement around bringing experienced crew chief Chad Kendrick and
driver Timothy Peters to the team. I am confident Rackley W.A.R. has been assembled as leaders in each of our fields of
expertise. Our goal is to be competitive in 2021, and the years to come with the goal towards bringing a championship to
    Tennessee.”

Peters has signed a deal to drive for the single-entry NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team. He enters his 17th season
in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season. In 248 series starts, Peters has amassed 11 wins, 59 top-five finishes,
and 129 top-10 finishes. In addition, the accomplished driver has one start in the NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) and eight
starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS).

“The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series has always been special, and to have the opportunity to return to full time
competition is a blessing,” Peters said. “I am very grateful to Willie Allen and Curtis Sutton for the opportunity to represent
Rackley Roofing and W.A.R. Shocks. Both gentlemen are top-notch people with a singular determination to win on and off
    the track.”

The 40-year-old Virginia native has been humble throughout his career. Now, he has secured a ride and will be a full-time
competitor in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for the first time since 2016.

Rackley W.A.R. will enter its inaugural NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season with an integrated technical and
operational partnership with the reigning championship-winning team GMS Racing. The agreement with GMS Racing will
allow Rackley W.A.R. to purchase chassis and other services developed over their years of championship-caliber
competition. As is the case with many other alliances within NASCAR, technical information and communication amongst
the teams will be encouraged to help improve performance.

“Mike Beam (president of GMS Racing) and I have been friends for a long time,” Allen said. “I could not imagine a better
team and program to be aligned with.”

The Centerville, Tenn.,-based team will be powered by Ilmor.

Kendrick will join the organization as crew chief of the No. 25 Rackley Roofing Chevrolet Silverado for Peters. In 2009,
Kendrick and Peters shared a career-first series NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory at the Martinsville (Va.)
Speedway. That season, the pair earned five top-five finishes and 13 top-ten finishes, while leading 143 laps. Together for
three seasons (2008, 2009, and 2017), they have collected one win, six top-five finishes, and 18 top-ten finishes and one
    pole award (Nashville).

“This season is going to be a dream come true,” Kendrick said. “Being paired with a winning driver and two of the most
successful, humble owners, the expectations are high, but also realistic. Rackley W.A.R. is building from the ground up,
and while we may hit some tough times ahead, I am sure we will be able to make it through anything.”

Kendrick has previously manned the helm for drivers Ryan Blaney, Austin Cindric, Austin Dillon, Daniel Hemric, Brad
Keselowski, and Joey Logano. As a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series 13-year veteran crew chief, Kendrick is credited
    with six victories.

With Peters behind the wheel, Rackley W.A.R. makes its official NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start in the NextEra
Energy 250 at the Daytona International Speedway on February 12.

EcoTwist Clean Joins Spencer Boyd for 2021 Season

Concord, NC (January 21, 2020) – NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Driver, Spencer Boyd, announced today that the exploding laundry detergent brand, EcoTwist Clean, will be a season-long sponsor of the No. 20 Young’s Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado. EcoTwist has revolutionized the laundry detergent industry by making a product that actually cleans your clothes with their Odor Release Technology™ while remaining eco-friendly.

“I never thought I’d be talking about doing laundry publicly,” chuckled Spencer Boyd. “I sit in a hot race car for hours. I work out daily. My clothes need to get clean not just sprayed with a scent. EcoTwist works for my clothes and their logo looks amazing on a race truck!”

EcoTwist Clean does it differently. They pride themselves on it. They’ve not only created a proprietary formula for their eco-friendly, powerful laundry detergent, but they’ve also developed a proprietary formula for how they run their business, intentionally focusing on people – not profits.

As a result of how EcoTwist Clean runs their business, a portion of the proceeds from each sale related to Spencer and racing, will go to benefit the non-profit organization, Trinity Oaks, who uses outdoor activities to give back and make a difference in the lives of others.

“We met Spencer through a mutual friend that spoke highly of him because of the person he is, not necessarily because he is a race car driver,” said EcoTwist President and 25-year Harris Teeter veteran, Sean Stanley. “I know the reach that sponsoring a NASCAR driver has, but I wanted to work with someone that shares our values. Spencer is our guy and our detergent is Made in the USA, so it’s a great combination!”

EcoTwist Clean has several scents or unscented versions to choose from while proving a special formula for active lifestyles like Spencer’s. They will also be launching detergent’s for babies, pets, and hunters in the near future. EcoTwist will be on board the No. 20 truck as an associate sponsor for each race of the 2021 season as well as have a number of races with their clean-looking primary paint scheme.

“The first day I met David (Gilliland) I knew he was my true partner in racing,” LeMastus said. “Now it’s time to transition back to where I began in marketing and step out of the owner role. I know our partnership on the marketing side will be just as strong and I look forward to many more years with David and the team.”

Spencer Boyd Announces Daytona Sponsorship with American Pavement Specialists

Boyd Will Drive a Raised on Blacktop Special Edition® Truck

Concord, NC (January 4, 2021) – Spencer Boyd, driver of the No. 20 Young’s Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, announced today that American Pavement Specialists will kick off the 2021 season with their Raised on Blacktop Special Edition® sponsorship at Daytona. The lifestyle brand is owned by the hard working team at American Pavement Specialists that sponsored Boyd in Las Vegas in 2020.

“We share the same mentality that a hard working team is the only way to get thigs done right,” commented Boyd. “The guys over at American Pavement Specialists have created this amazing brand in Raised On Blacktop® that is going to look sick on that truck.”

“I literally grew up racing on every asphalt track we could get to so if there is a brand that speaks to my roots, this is it,” Boyd said.

Matt Stanley, head of Marketing for American Pavement Specialists and Co-Founder of the Raised on Blacktop brand, remarked on their partnership with a NASCAR driver, “We’ve reached so many like-minded people with Spencer’s efforts. NASCAR fans are hardworking people and that is what our brand is about…waking up early, hustling hard, and providing for your family.”

Raised on Blacktop® is paving the way for their industry with this sponsorship of NASCAR driver Spencer Boyd.

Daytona International Speedway recently announced that fans will be allowed in the historic venue for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on February 12, 2021. With Boyd’s track record at Superspeedways, one win and two top-five finishes in five starts, the 25 year-old will be one for fans to watch in the first race of season.

As announced previously, this will be Spencer Boyd’s third season with Young’s Motorsports.
