Kyle Busch – No. 51 Yahoo! Tundra TRD Pro Camping World Trucks Sonoma Preview

Kyle Busch: Driver, No. 51 Safelite® Toyota

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Overview:
    Event: DoorDash 250, Race 12 of 23, 75 Laps – 20/25/30; 149.25 Miles
Location: Sonoma (Calif.) Raceway (1.99-mile, 12-turn road course)

    The Report on ‘Rowdy’:

Owner-driver Kyle Busch gets behind the wheel of the No. 51 Yahoo Tundra TRD Pro Saturday at Sonoma Raceway for his fifth and final NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start in 2022. Yahoo’s sponsorship of Busch is part of a multi-year agreement with Toyota Racing Development (TRD) which will see the global media and tech company with primary sponsorship of teams at KBM, Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR), Venturini Motorsports and Keith Kunz Motorsports. In addition to this weekend’s primary race with Busch, Yahoo will adorn the hood of John Hunter Nemechek’s No. 4 Tundra TRD Pro July 23 at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond Pa., and July 29 at Indianapolis (Ind.) Raceway Park.

Busch, the winningest driver in series history, enters Sonoma having won 37.4% (61/164) of the Truck Series races he has entered and finished first or second in 56.4% (92/164). In addition to his Truck Series leading 61 wins, ‘Rowdy’ also ranks first all-time among Truck Series drivers in driver rating (123.6), average finish (6.6) and is second in laps led (7,591).

Saturday’s race at Sonoma marks only the second time that Busch has competed in the Truck Series on a road course. He made his first-ever Truck Series start earlier this season at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Tex. where he led a race-high 31 laps and was in control of the race until two late-race cautions. On the second overtime restart the Las Vegas native was leading heading to Turn 11 when Alex Bowman and Stewart Friesen both overdrove the corner sending Busch off course. He was able to battle his way back to a disappointing third-place finish.

Over his last 25 Truck Series starts, Busch has an average finish of 3.2 while recording 13 wins and seven runner-up finishes. This year in the Truck Series, he has an average finish of 3.8 with 63 laps led across his four starts. His runner-up finish at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway being his best result to date.

While he as never raced at Sonoma in the Truck Series, the 37-year-old driver has accumulated two wins (2008 and 2015), six top-five and eight top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 14.6 across 16 starts at the California road course in Cup Series action. He has finished seventh or better in his last six starts there, including four straight top-five finishes.

Mardy Lindley returns to KBM for his second season atop the pit box of the No. 51 team. Lindley has led his team to five wins since coming to KBM at the start of the 2021 season, including two with Corey Heim this year. In 2021, his drivers produced three victories, two with Busch and one with Martin Truex Jr. Before arriving at KBM, Lindley guided his drivers to 32 wins and four ARCA Menards Series East championships since 2013, including back-to-back titles with Sam Mayer the last two seasons. Additionally, he earned the ARCA Menards Series Sioux Chief Showdown championship with Mayer in 2020. Behind the wheel, the second-generation driver won 11 races on the Pro Cup Series from 2000 to 2006 and was crowned the series champion in 2001. Lindley has crew chiefed four races on road courses at KBM with Busch’s seventh-place result earlier this year being the best finish. He has been atop the pit box for two races at Sonoma in the K&N Pro Series West with a best result of 11th coming with Daniel Suarez in 2017.

    Kyle Busch, Driver Q&A:
What are your thoughts on possibly being the first active cup series driver to win both the Truck Series and Cup Series races in the same weekend at Sonoma Raceway?
“I think everyone knows how much I like to win an inaugural race in any series, so would certainly hope we can go out to Sonoma and have a shot to win the first Camping World Truck Series there since 1998. We’ve got a new sponsor to KBM onboard this weekend, so getting Yahoo to victory lane in their first race on one of our Tundra TRD Pros would be pretty cool. I’ve always enjoyed racing at Sonoma. We’ve had top-five finishes five out of the last six Cup races there but haven’t been able to get back to victory lane there since 2015. It would be great to have a shot to get to win on Saturday in the Truck Series and the follow it up by getting back to victory lane there in the Cup race on Sunday.”

Do you believe your experience and two cup series wins at this track will help you beat the competition since the truck series hasn’t run on this track since 1998?
“Sonoma has been a really fun place to race over the years. I used to look at road course racing as a weekend off. You only had two races that you turned left and right, and you would go out there and try to have fun and you either had a really good day or a bad day you moved on. Now that we have six road courses on the schedule, there’s definitely more focus on road course racing and time spent on it than it was in the past. So, to get that experience on the same track with the Truck Series and to see how the tire reacts will be a good thing for us at Sonoma and hopefully it will help us out on Sunday as well.”

Kyle Busch Camping World Truck Series Career Highlights:

    • Busch has a total of 164 Camping World Trucks starts and is ranked first all-time in wins (61), driver rating (123.6) and average finish (6.6).
    • The 37-year-old driver has won 37.2% (61/164) of the NCWTS races he has entered and finished first or second in 56.1% (92/164).
    • Busch stands alone as the leader in all-time career wins in NASCAR’s national touring series with 223 total victories. He has earned 60 NASCAR Cup Series wins, 102 NASCAR Xfinity Series wins, and 61 NCWTS wins.
    • In August of 2010, Busch made history when he won the NCWTS, NXS and NCS races at Bristol Motor Speedway, becoming the only driver to sweep all three of NASCAR’s top three series at one track on the same weekend. He then repeated the feat in August of 2017.

Kyle Busch’s No. 51 Safelite Tundra:

KBM-71: The No. 51 Yahoo! team will race KBM-71 for Saturday’s race at Sonoma. This is the same Tundra that Busch led a race-high 31 laps with earlier this year at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Tex., but was relegated to a third-place finish after getting run over the course on the first lap of the second NASCAR overtime. John Hunter Nemechek finished second with KBM-71 in its maiden start last year at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International.

    KBM Notes of Interest:

    • Across 35 starts on road courses, KBM drivers have earned one win, 13 top-five and 15 top-10 finishes, with an average starting position of 9.4 and an average finish of 12.3.
    • Erik Jones picked up KBM’s lone road course victory in 2015 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ont.
    • KBM holds the Camping World Truck Series records for most career wins (94) and most wins in a single season (14 in 2014). With his victory at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway, Corey Heim became the 18th different driver to win a Truck Series event for KBM. In addition to collecting a series-record seven Owner’s Championships, the organization has produced two championship-winning drivers: Erik Jones (2015) and Christopher Bell (2017).
    • With 39 victories, the No. 51 is the winningest number in KBM’s Truck Series fleet.

Zane Smith Going for Second Road Course Win at Sonoma

Michael Roberts Construction Joins Team at Home Race

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (June 7, 2022) – Coming off his ninth top-10 of the 2022 season and a 17th-place finish in his NASCAR Cup Series debut subbing for Chris Buescher in the No.17 RFK Racing Ford Mustang, Zane Smith heads into the Sonoma Raceway this weekend looking for his second road course win of the year in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The team is looking for its fourth win overall with Michael Roberts Construction (MRC) supporting Smith in their home state.

It will be a special race weekend for Smith who will have the full support of MRC family and friends at the track. MRC has been a loyal supporter of Smith in his young career, and he wants to get them into victory lane at the track.

“Mike (Avila) has done so much to help me get to where I am at,” stated Smith. “I want to get him back into victory lane, but especially in California where we both grew up. That is important to me this weekend.”

Also important for Smith and the Front Row Motorsports team will be figuring out their first time at the track racing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. But with a win earlier this year at the Circuit of the Americas, they know they can win on a road course.

“I enjoy racing on these road courses,” Smith said. “I feel really comfortable with the way Chris (Lawson) likes to approach these races. The guys work really hard on preparing the trucks each week and I know I will have a chance to race up front this Saturday.”

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race will be live from Sonoma Raceway on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on FS1.

They’re fully committed to changing the conversations and misconceptions around hair loss by encouraging men and women to rethink how they treat their hair, from the inside and out.

With the sponsorship of NASCAR driver Spencer Boyd leadership at Grofully shared this, “We want to build a community of men and women who are fully committed to changing conventions and sparking conversations around hair loss through – supporting one another as we grow together. TOYOTA QUOTES

COREY HEIM, No. 51 JBL Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, Kyle Busch Motorsports

    Finishing Position: 1st

How would you sum up today’s race?

“For the rest of this year, I’ve found myself in bad spots and really just not been able to finish races so today really helped my mindset of just finishing, being there in the end and just keeping my truck clean. I felt like out of the whole entire top-10, everyone had damage except for me. It was great for a situation in the end, where we could win the race. Everyone at KBM (Kyle Busch Motorsports) and JBL, this Tundra TRD Pro was just phenomenal today. Like I said, just staying up front, staying out of trouble.”

    What are your emotions like?

“It’s phenomenal. I’ve been here once before and there was nowhere near the good turn out as there was today. It was phenomenal to see all of these fans today at the Toyota 200. It was a great show.”

Can you talk about your run?

“It was a great day. I just tried to stay out front and stay out of trouble for the most part. I’ve had my ups and downs this year where I’ve kind of been a little too aggressive and it came back to bite me. I was just trying to stay up front and keep my truck clean in the end and it all paid off. My Tundra TRD Pro was phenomenal. KBM (Kyle Busch Motorsports) did a great job and I’m proud to be a part of this Toyota 200.”

CHRISTIAN ECKES, No. 98 Curb Records Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, ThorSport Racing

    Finishing Position: 2nd

Can you take me through that final restart?

“I just spun the tires a little bit and then the 19 (Derek Kraus) picked my rear wheels off of the ground and sent them to Mars. Just didn’t get a good launch. Two of the last three races, we have been leading and the caution comes out late. It just sucks, but very proud of my ThorSport Racing team. Thankful to Curb Records, AHI Facility Services, Toyota Racing, WileyX. It’s just really frustrating. The past three weeks, we should have won, and we didn’t. I’m going to go back to the drawing board and figure some stuff out.”

CHANDLER SMITH, No. 18 Safelite AutoGlass Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, Kyle Busch Motorsports

    Finishing Position: 3rd

How did you make it through the field?

“To be honest with you if the 23 (Grant Enfinger) didn’t run out of talent in stage two, we would have probably lapped half the field easy. Our truck was stupid, stupid fast. Hats off to Danny (Stockman), everybody at KBM (Kyle Busch Motorsports). They gave me a really fast Safelite/ChargeMe Toyota Tundra. It sucks really bad, because even there at the end our tires are beat, probably four times everybody else in the field and we still ended up third. Honestly, probably should have won the race, but got drove all the way to the fence once again. It is what it is, but glad to get a top-three out of it.”

JOHN HUNTER NEMECHEK, No. 4 Mobil 1 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, Kyle Busch Motorsports

    Finishing Position: 35th

Did the hole just close up on you?

“Yeah, that one is on me. I put myself in a vulnerable position and should have known better. I should have leaned on experience for that. It’s so hard to pass here today. Our Toyota Tundra was fast. All of the KBM (Kyle Busch Motorsports) trucks were fast, and now, none of them are up there. I got a run going down the back straightaway. The 51 (Corey Heim) was on the 52’s (Stewart Friesen) door. The 52 got sideways and they both slid up the racetrack. I thought I had a hole and went for it. It’s aero loose underneath. I hit the rumble strips as well. It just closed. It’s on me. I’m sorry to all of my guys at KBM. Thank you to Mobil 1, all of our great partners that help us do this. Looking forward to going to rebound next week in Sonoma.”

Hocevar chose the inside lane for the final restart with the No. 17 of Ryan Preece on the outside as the two led the field into turn one for the first attempt at overtime. The two ran side-by-side on lap 136 when Hocevar got loose and slid up the track into Preece, damaging both vehicles and bringing out the caution.

The No. 42 team worked to repair ride side and rear damage to their Chevrolet under caution and salvaged a 16th-place finish following the second and final overtime attempt.

Nemechek took advantage of the program last season, collecting an extra $50,000 for his win at Charlotte.

The North Carolina driver has made six starts at Gateway in Camping World Truck Series action. Nemechek was victorious at the 1.25-mile facility in June of 2017 while driving for family-owned NEMCO Motorsports. In his first six starts, Nemechek has tallied one win, 100 laps led, two top-five and three top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 12.2.

The world’s leading synthetic motor oil, Mobil 1, will adorn the hood of the No. 4 Tundra TRD Pro Saturday at World Wide Technology Raceway. Across 134 career starts in NASCAR’s third division, he has compiled six poles, 1,352 laps led, 45 top-five and 73 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 12.4.

Eric Phillips returned to lead the No. 4 team in 2022. His 42 career Truck Series victories make him the winningest crew chief in Truck Series history, with 33 of those coming while at KBM including five last year. Phillips led the No. 18 team at KBM in its debut season in 2010 and helped build the organization into one of the premier teams in all of NASCAR before departing at the end of the 2014 season. Under his guidance, the No. 18 team won eight races in its inaugural campaign and became the first team in Truck Series history to capture an owner’s championship in its first season of competition. In 2014, the Illinois native led the No. 51 team to an owner’s championship and his team’s 10 wins spearheaded KBM to a single-season Truck Series record of 14 wins. Phillips has called the shots for eight starts at Gateway in Camping World Truck Series action. In those eight starts, his drivers have tallied one win (Mike Skinner – 2009), 13 laps led, two top-five and four top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 12.9.

    John Hunter Nemechek, Driver Q&A:
    Is Gateway a unique track?
“Gateway is unique. They repaved it not long ago, so it has quite a bit of grip now. Definitely a little bit different with the spec motor compared to the built motors that we used to run, but overall, the same race track. I really enjoy going to Gateway, you use quite a bit of brake there, you shift some and I would call it a big short track.”

Are you excited about the Triple Truck Challenge coming back this year?
“I’m very excited about the Triple Truck Challenge this year – it’s a great thing that Marcus (Lemonis) and everyone at Camping World does to put a little extra money on the line for us series regulars. We were able to capitalize on it last year and bring home an extra $50,000 — hopefully this year we can bring home the whole thing. This No. 4 team has really been hitting our stride recently and now we just need to turn our top fives and top 10s into more wins and start to build up our playoff bonus points as we get closer to the end of the regular season.”

    John Hunter Nemechek Career Highlights:

    • Twelve-time winner in Camping World Truck Series action, winning at least one race each season from 2015 to 2018 for his family-owned team, NEMCO Motorsports and returning to victory lane with KBM in 2021 and 2022. Registered a career-high and series-leading five victories in 2021 and earned the NCWTS Regular Season championship and third in the final standings after qualifying for the Championship Four for the first time in his career.
    • Produced three top-10 finishes and an average result of 22.4 while competing for rookie of the year honors in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2020. He recorded a career-best eighth-place finish twice, both coming at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway.

Raceway, and Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway. KBM owner-driver Kyle Busch also produced a victory with this Tundra TRD Pro at Charlotte in 2019.

In addition to collecting a series-record seven Owner’s Championships, the organization has produced two championship-winning drivers: Erik Jones (2015) and Christopher Bell (2017).
    • The No. 4 has 17 career victories at KBM and was the number for both of the organization’s driver championships.

ARRMA RC Introduces Replica Body of Zane Smith No. 38 Ford F-150

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (June 2, 2022) – ARRMA today introduced a limited edition No. 38 Ford F-150 NASCAR Truck body for the 1/7 Infraction 6S BLX. The body is a fully licensed replica of the ARRMA sponsored Front Row Motorsports truck to be driven by Zane Smith this weekend at the World Wide Technology Raceway. Only 1,500 pieces will be produced. The Infraction is an 80-plus mile per hour RC.

The body comes silkscreened with a matte finish to match the Infraction Blue “Stars and Stripes” style livery and is pre-cut with all decals pre-applied to exactly match the full-size truck. A separate NASCAR style rear wing with hardware is included. As Smith noted earlier this week about the scheme and the Infraction:

“This truck looks awesome,” exclaimed Smith. “I have been bashing my Infraction and it is cool to see the inspiration come to life on our race truck and now on an RC body. It is just sick to see, and being a huge fan of RC and ARRMA, I’m excited to race this truck this weekend. I’ve been looking forward to it, and I can’t wait to hit the track.”

Fans can go to www.horizonhobby.com to pre-order now.

Smith will take to WWT Raceway on Friday for practice and qualifying. The team will then race the ARRMA No. 38 Ford F-150 on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. ET on FS1.

    • Chassis History/Info: Jack Wood will compete with GMS Racing chassis no. 337 in this week’s race at World Wide Technology Raceway. • Looking To Repeat: World Wide Technology Raceway is the site of Jack Wood’s first top-10 finish in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, which came in last year’s running of the Toyota 200. Wood is still chasing after his first top-10 finish of the season, but believes that this race might just be his best shot at achieving that goal.
    • Sunoco ROTY Update: A 23rd place finish in the series’ most recent event at Charlotte Motor Speedway bumped Jack Wood up to second in the Sunoco Rookie Of The Year points standings. Wood is now only 14 points behind Lawless Alan in their battle for ROTY.

    • JW Quote: “I’m really looking forward to going back to Gateway, I earned my first top-10 finish there last year, so there’s definitely some high hopes to go back there and have a solid run. It’s going to be nice to go back to somewhat a short track, which is similar to what I grew up racing on. We are still waiting to find that race to turn our season around, but there is a lot of confidence in this No. 24 team, so we are going to put our heads down and give it all we’ve got with our Two Friends Golf Chevy.”

  • Corey Heim – No. 51 JBL Tundra TRD Pro Camping World Trucks World Wide Technology Raceway Preview

Corey Heim – No. 51 JBL Tundra TRD Pro Camping World Trucks World Wide Technology Raceway Preview

Corey Heim: Driver, No. 51 JBL® Toyota

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Overview:
    Event: Toyota 200, Race 11 of 23, 160 Laps –35/35/90; 200 Miles
Location: World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway in Madison, Ill. (1.25-mile oval)
    Date/Broadcast: June 4, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR 90

    The Story on Corey:

Corey Heim returns to the No. 51 JBL Tundra TRD Pro for this week’s Toyota 200 at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway in Madison, Ill. Saturday’s 160-lap event will be the 19-year-old driver’s sixth Truck Series start of 2022 and the ninth of his career. Despite having just eight starts under his belt, the talented teenager already collected his first series win earlier this year at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway. Overall, in eight starts, he has tallied 43 laps led and an average finish of 18.5. He has led at least one lap in three of his five starts this season and qualified inside the top five for each of his last three starts.

In his most recent start, Heim qualified second at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth but suffered right front damage after making contact with another competitor exiting pit road during the Stage Two break. The No. 51 team used several stops to repair the damage and Heim was able to battle back to a seventh-place finish. Kyle Busch piloted the No. 51 Tundra TRD Pro to a seventh-place finish last week at Charlotte.

While Heim has yet to make a Truck Series start at World Wide Technology Raceway, he did take part in a rookie test at the 1.25-mile oval in May. He was able to complete over 150 laps in the one-day test. The Toyota Racing Development driver also has one ARCA Menards Series start under his belt at Gateway, a fourth-place finish in 2019.

Despite not being slated for a full-time schedule this year, Heim is competing for the 2022 Truck Series Sunoco Rookie of the Year award. Having only competed in five of the 10 events this season, he sits third in the standings, 17 points behind Lawless Alan. Heim will look to join three other KBM drivers that have won the award, reigning winner Chandler Smith, William Byron (2016) and Erik Jones (2015).

Heim made three NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts for KBM in 2021, with a best result of 11th coming at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. Heim had an impressive Truck Series debut at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway last May, where he led two laps, finished Stage Two in the runner-up position and was running second when he got turned from behind on a restart with just under 30 laps remaining. The incident forced him to the garage and ended his night with a disappointing 23rd-place finish.

In addition to his part-time Truck Series schedule Heim is competing in a six-race schedule for Venturini Motorsports in the ARCA Menards Series. Heim led 74 of 90 laps en route to the victory at Daytona in February to pick up his eighth career ARCA Menards Series victory. Across 40 career ARCA Menards Series starts he has produced 659 laps led, 29 top-five and 38 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 4.4. Heim finished second to Ty Gibbs in the 2021 ARCA Menards Series championship standings.

Mardy Lindley returns to KBM for his second season atop the pit box of the No. 51 team. In addition to this year’s with Heim, the No. 51 team produced three victories in Lindley’s first season as a crew chief at KBM, two with owner-driver Kyle Busch and one with Martin Truex Jr. Lindley’s lone Truck Series race at Gateway resulted in a 26th-place finish with Derek Griffith last season. He also was atop the pit box for three ARCA Menards Series events at the 1.25-mile oval, producing an average finish of 7.3, including two third-place finishes with Mayer (2019 & 2020).

JBL, the authority in engineering superior sound, returns to KBM for an eighth season and will be the primary sponsor on Heim’s Toyota for 10 races this season including Friday’s race at Texas. Crescent Tools, a premier hand tool brand from Apex Tool Group, will serve as a primary sponsor for four of Heim’s races, beginning July 29 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis (Ind.) Raceway Park.

    Corey Heim, Driver Q&A:

You have an ARCA start at Gateway and tested a truck there a few weeks ago. Would you say this is the most comfortable you’ve felt heading into a Truck Series race?
“I’ve mentioned that a few times this year, as far as tracks that at least I’ve got a little bit of experience on, it really helps me going into a Truck Series weekend due to the lack of practice and qualifying that we get compared to ARCA, Late Models, etc. Having experience, having that rookie test a few weeks ago definitely helps me a lot, and I’m looking forward to getting back there.”

What do you think will be the biggest challenge racing in the Truck Series at Gateway?
“The track with being so flat passing is going to be super tough. It’s very aero dependent and I feel like it’s going to be a lot of single-file racing and it is going to take a really good truck to get by, but our JBL Tundra TRD Pro has always been good this year, so I’m looking forward to it.”

Does it make it more exciting for you to have some extra money on the line with the Triple Truck Challenge?
“For sure, the last few years I thought it was very interesting from the sidelines – super exciting to see who is really stepping up to the plate in those really big money races. That’s something that I’ve really been looking forward to the past couple of years and I think we’ll be good.”

    Corey Heim Career Highlights:

    • Picked up first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway March 19, 2022 in just his fifth start. Across eight career starts has one win, 43 laps led, one top-five and two top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 18.5.
    • Made three Truck Series starts in 2021 with a best result of 11th coming at Martinsville Speedway in October.
    • Finished runner-up in the ARCA Menards Series championship standings in 2021 after collecting six wins, three poles, 406 laps led, 16 top-five and 20 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 3.1 across 20 starts.
    • Across 40 career ARCA Menards Series starts has eight wins, 659 laps led, 29 top-five and 38 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 4.4. Picked up his first career ARCA Menards Series victory at Kansas Speedway Oct. 16, 2020.
    • Corey Heim’s No. 51 JBL Tundra TRD Pro:
    • KBM-59: The No. 51 JBL team will unload KBM-59 for Saturday’s 160-lap event at Gateway. KBM-59’s best result across nine career starts was a third-place finish with Chandler Smith at Phoenix (Ariz.) Raceway in 2019. It is the same Tundra TRD Pro that Heim tested with at Gateway in May.

    KBM Notes of Interest:

    • KBM drivers have collected two wins, 422 laps led, six top-five and 12 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 14.9 across 26 starts at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway.
    • Christopher Bell was victorious at the 1.25-mile track in 2016 and Darrell Wallace Jr., won the 2014 event.
    • KBM holds the Camping World Truck Series records for most career wins (93) and most wins in a single season (14 in 2014). With his victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway Heim became the 18th different driver to win a Truck Series event for KBM. In addition to collecting a series-record seven Owner’s Championships, the organization has produced two championship-winning drivers: Erik Jones (2015) and Christopher Bell (2017).
    • With 38 victories, the No. 51 is the winningest number in KBM’s Truck Series fleet.
