AJ Allmendinger to Return to Kaulig Racing in 2022

Allmendinger to Compete Full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Part-Time NASCAR Cup Series Schedule in 2022 with Multi-Year Agreement

LEXINGTON, N.C. (June 18, 2021) – As part of a multi-year agreement with Kaulig Racing, AJ Allmendinger will continue competing full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) and part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) in select events for the 2022 season.

Following the team’s announcement of Justin Haley driving full-time in the NCS and acquiring two charters for the 2022 season, Kaulig Racing will also continue its championship-caliber NXS program, retaining veteran-driver, AJ Allmendinger.

“Not only are we planning on making a splash in the NASCAR Cup Series, we plan on continuing to trophy hunt in the Xfinity Series!” Said team owner, Matt Kaulig. “AJ has been a phenomenal addition to this Kaulig Racing family, and we are glad to have him back with us moving forward.”

Since making his first start for Kaulig Racing in 2019, Allmendinger has earned five wins, 16 top five and 19 top-10 finishes in the NXS, with the most recent win coming at Kaulig’s home track of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

“Over the past three years, I have fallen in love with this team and have enjoyed every aspect of trying to help the organization grow,” said Allmendinger. “To know that I will continue to be a part of it moving forward and that this will most-likely be the last NASCAR team I drive for, is truly special. I appreciate Matt Kaulig, Chris Rice and all the men and women at Kaulig Racing for allowing me to be a part of this team. I can’t wait to see what the future holds on both the Xfinity and Cup sides of the program and what it will look like for Kaulig Racing. I’m thoroughly enjoying it, and I can’t wait for the next couple of years together.”

In only two starts in the 2021 NCS season, Allmendinger has earned the team’s best NCS finish, a top five at Circuit of the Americas, as well as a top-10 finish at the Daytona International Speedway road course earlier this year.

“Not only a good colleague, AJ has become a good friend over the past few years,” said Kaulig Racing president, Chris Rice. “He has long been considered a ‘Road-Course Ringer,’ but since joining Kaulig Racing, he has proven to be an all-around talented driver, and we can’t wait to continue having him elevate our program.”

Slated to run the remainder of the road-course races for Kaulig Racing in the 2021 NCS season, Allmendinger will continue his part-time NCS schedule for the 2022 season, while also competing for the NXS championship for the second year in-a-row.

K&L Ready Mix will serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 23 at the Indianapolis Road Course

As the NASCAR Xfinity Series prepares to head to Indianapolis Road Course, Our Motorsports announces today that K&L Ready Mix will serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 23 Chevrolet with driver Austin Dillion for the August 14th event.

“K & L Ready Mix is a ready-mix concrete producer that has been servicing Northwest Ohio since 1957. With 6 locations, we cover over 13 counties,” said Tyler Ruhe-Kahle, K&L Representative. “We are proud to continue our partnerships in racing, especially after the loss of our owner Ron Kahle Jr. to cancer last November. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to be on Austin Dillon’s car and can not thank everyone at Richard Childress Racing, Team Dillon Management & Our Motorsports for the chance to honor my father, Ron. We look forward to a great race, great finish, and hope for more opportunities like this in the years to come.”

K&L Ready Mix has an established relationship with NASCAR. They have served as the primary sponsor for a team back in 2019.

“We are very excited to welcome Austin and K&L Ready Mix on board with us at Indy,” said General Manager Joe Williams. “ Austin brings a lot of experience to our team and I look forward to the future with this partnership.”

The on track action kicks off at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday, August 14. The 62-lap race will be broadcast on NBCSN.

    ABOUT SPONSOR:

K&L Ready Mix is a mid-level ready-mix concrete supplier in Northwest Ohio. Founded in 1957, we began our journey hauling construction aggregates for several years, until we felt we had enough knowledge of local aggregates, we joined the concrete industry. Our six concrete plants were strategically placed so that we could overlap our coverage area, making it easier for more than anyone plant to service the same area or increase plant production on large-scale jobs. This allows us to batch concrete at multiple plants for the same job if necessary or focus our services to local customers out of multiple locations should it be required. Our resources are mostly locally purchased, with multiple locations able to utilize the same materials in an effort to keep our products consistent from one mix to the next.

    Brown on Nashville:

“I’m excited to be racing at Nashville Superspeedway this weekend for the first time in my career. I feel like our team has shown some great success at Dover, which is also a concrete race track, so hopefully we can transition that same type of performance into Nashville (Superspeedway) this weekend.

“There are definitely a lot of unknown’s as we head into the busy weekend in the Music City, but one thing that’s for certain is how great our No. 68 Chevrolet Camaro looks; I think that the acoustic guitar running down the side of our race car really plays into the country music theme of Nashville.

“This weekend, I’m proud to welcome both Jerry Jordan and kickinthetires.net as well as Brandon Davis Music to our team for Saturday’s Tennessee Lottery 250.

“Kickinthetires.net is a multi-platform media company that is primarily focused on covering our great sport of NASCAR. They’ve been in the industry for almost 20-years and have always done an outstanding job of promoting the drivers, teams and their stories.

“Brandon Davis is a rising country singer-songwriter that has had some real breakout success over the last year. It’s really cool to be able to represent him and his music on our No. 68 this weekend and it’s going to be even more special to host Brandon and his family at the track for the race on Saturday.

“I know that I speak for our entire Brandonbilt Motorsports organization when I say that we’re ready to put our No. 68 Chevrolet Camaro in Victory Lane. We’ve been close a handful of times this year and we’re looking at Nashville to be the great equalizer with the inexperience that most of us in the Xfinity Series have at this track; so hopefully we can come away with a strong run.”

  • Jordan Anderson Racing Partners with U.S. LawShield for Nashville Xfinity Race

Jordan Anderson Racing Partners with U.S. LawShield for Nashville Xfinity Race

STATESVILLE, N.C. (June 16, 2021) – Jordan Anderson Racing (JAR) and U.S. LawShield, the leader in Legal Defense for the Self-Defense industry, announced today a partnership that will make U.S. LawShield® a prominent marketing partner for the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) Tennessee Lottery 250 at Nashville Superspeedway; Saturday, June 19.

Entering the second year as a partner of JAR, U.S. LawShield will be featured on the sides of the No. 31 Chevrolet Camaro SS driven by Tyler Reddick as the NXS makes its much-anticipated return to Nashville after a decade’s absence.

“Everyone at U.S. LawShield is thrilled to continue our support of Jordan Anderson Racing,” says P.J. Hermosa, CEO of U.S. LawShield. “The NASCAR fan base represents a significant amount of law-abiding gun owners who want nothing more than to protect their families and property. At U.S. LawShield, we are here to protect individuals and families during their greatest time of need.”

U.S. LawShield traces its roots back to 2009 when a group of Houston, Texas-based attorneys saw first-hand the injustice against law-abiding gun owners who were forced to legally defend themselves. They observed that these gun owners, who acted lawfully in self-defense, were at a significant disadvantage within the justice system. They watched these people face unwarranted hardships, loss of freedom and financial ruin in trying to defend themselves in what they felt was a rigged justice system.

These passionate attorneys created what is known today as U.S. LawShield and its Legal Defense for Self-Defense Program now supports a community of members totaling over 690,000 strong across the United States. The company focuses on educating members in self-defense law; empowering them to handle critical life-threatening situations with confidence; and protecting them from potential injustices in the legal system after lawful acts of self-defense.

“It is great to continue the relationship with everyone at U.S. LawShield for the second year.” Stated JAR President Jordan Anderson. “Being a proud member of U.S. LawShield myself, it is a sense of peace knowing I am protected as a part of the U.S. LawShield family.”

Making his third NXS start for JAR in 2021, Reddick is coming off two consecutive two top-ten finishes in the month of May with an 8th place finish in the NXS debut at Circuit of the Americas (COTA), followed up with an 5th place finish at the Alsco Uniforms 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway a week later.

Joining U.S. LawShield for the Tennessee Lottery 250 is longtime JAR partner Bommarito Automotive Group.

Tickets for the NXS Tennessee Lottery 250 are still available for purchase by visiting Nashville Superspeedway online.

If you are unable to make it to Nashville the NXS Tennessee Lottery 250 will be broadcast LIVE on NBCSN and the NBC Sports App at 3:30 PM EST on Saturday afternoon June 19.

The race can also be heard LIVE on the radio on the Motor Racing Network and SIRIUS/XM NASCAR radio Channel 90.

    RILEY HERBST
    Nashville NASCAR Xfinity Series Advance
No. 98 Monster Energy Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing

    NASCAR Xfinity Series Overview

    • Event: Tennessee Lottery 250 (Round 15 of 33)
    • Date: Saturday, June 19
    • Location: Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway
    • Layout: 1.333-mile, concrete oval
    • Time/TV/Radio: 3:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN/MRN/SiriusXM NASCAR Radio

    Riley Herbst Notes of Interest

    • Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway is one of the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ enhanced race weekends with practice and qualifying prior to the race. It’s an opportunity relished by Riley Herbst, driver of the No. 98 Monster Energy Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR). The last time the Xfinity Series featured practice and qualifying in the lead up to the race was three weeks ago at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway. Herbst took full advantage of the opportunity, setting the fastest time in practice and then backing it up with his first career pole. Herbst aims to replicate that kind of speed in Saturday’s Tennessee Lottery 250.

    • Nashville is best known as Music City, but its bright lights and lively nightlife has earned Nashville another nickname – Nashvegas. As a native of Las Vegas, Herbst feels right at home in Nashville. That Nashville Superspeedway is an intermediate-style track makes Herbst feel even more welcome. His history at intermediates is strong. His best career finishes have come at intermediates, where he owns a pair of second-place results – Feb. 29, 2020 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, and July 9, 2020 at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta.

    • The Tennessee Lottery 250 will mark Herbst’s 58th career Xfinity Series start and, like much of the field, his first at Nashville. The 22-year-old racer has earned six top-five finishes and 24 top-10s. While Herbst has never made a start on Nashville’s 1.333-mile, concrete oval, he does have two starts at another track in Music City – the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, where he earned a best finish of seventh in the April 2017 ARCA Menards Series race.

Riley Herbst, Driver of the No. 98 Monster Energy Ford Mustang

There is practice and qualifying once again this weekend at Nashville Superspeedway. After topping the speed charts and winning your first career pole at Charlotte, are you looking forward to these sessions?

“Definitely. You learn so much in practice and qualifying that can transfer over to the race. The sim is great, but nothing beats actually getting out on the track and putting down some laps before the green flag. I’m hoping we can produce the same results as Charlotte. I’m excited to show some speed this weekend at Nashville.”

This is your first start at Nashville Superspeedway. How do you feel heading into the weekend?

“I’m pumped to get to Nashville. The Xfinity Series hasn’t been there in a quite a few years, so it’s great to get NASCAR back to Music City. On top of the excitement of a new racetrack, I’m also happy that we’re able to fit in practice and qualifying this weekend. It’s another chance for us to learn and improve as the season continues.”

Monster Energy has been with you for some time. Talk about what that long-term partnership means to you.

“It’s super cool to have that support from Monster Energy. I love the flat black scheme with the bright green ‘M’ on the hood. I’ve been with the Monster Energy folks since I was probably 15 or 16 years old through my family’s off-road racing team, who they sponsored. We just kept that relationship alive as time went on. The people out in Corona, California, are like family to me and they’re so supportive of my career. Hopefully, I can get them a win in Nashville this weekend.”

    Driver Quotes
“Heading back to Nashville is going to be good for our No. 1 Pilot Flying J team. It’s been a while since I’ve run there, but we have a good record at Dover on the concrete. Over the past few races, we’ve been putting our weekends together by earning stage points and getting good finishes, and that’s what we need to do at Nashville. Not many drivers in the field have ever raced at Nashville, and we do have some experience there.” – Michael Annett

“I always enjoyed racing at Nashville and am really looking forward to getting back there this weekend with our Dollar General Literacy Foundation Chevrolet. I had some good runs there in the past when we used to race there every year, but with this being our first race back in a number of years, we are definitely going to be relying on our notebooks heading into the weekend. Thankfully, we have practice on Friday and I know that Jason (Burdett, crew chief) and all the guys on this No. 7 team will get our car dialed in so we can battle for one of those awesome guitars on Saturday.” – Justin Allgaier

“It’s going to be nice racing close to home. I plan on heading over there early to see some family and friends before the race this weekend. I got my start in Sim Racing and that’s how Dale and I became such good of friends, so it’s really cool to have iRacing on our car. This scheme looks so good. Hopefully we can put this iRacing Chevrolet in Victory Lane. Nothing would be better than to cap off my first Xfinity season with another victory with this team.” – Josh Berry

“Nashville is a really cool city and I am glad that we get to go back. I’ve never raced at the superspeedway but we’ve spent some time in the sim and luckily we get a little bit of practice this weekend to learn the track and to make the right adjustments for the race. A part of me wishes we went straight into the race, but I know Dave (Elenz, crew chief) and this entire No. 9 team will bring a fast Bass Pro Shops/TrueTimber/Black Rifle Coffee Camaro and hopefully we can compete for the win.” – Noah Gragson

Jordan Anderson Racing Partners with hotel Indigo for NASCAR’s Return to Nashville

STATESVILLE, N.C. (June 14, 2021) – Jordan Anderson Racing (JAR) and hotel Indigo by IHG announced today a partnership that will make hotel Indigo Nashville Downtown the official hotel partner of JAR throughout NASCAR’s return to Nashville, Tennessee.

As a part of the new partnership, hotel Indigo Nashville Downtown will serve as an associate sponsor on the No. 3 Chevrolet Silverado during the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Rackley Roofing 200 on June 18, and on the No. 31 Bommarito Automotive Group Chevrolet Camaro SS during the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) Tennessee Lottery 250 on June 19 that will be held at the nearby Nashville Superspeedway in Lebanon, Tennessee.

“All of us at the Hotel Indigo Nashville Downtown are excited to be partnering with Jordan Anderson Racing, The NASCAR race is one of the first major events in Nashville since the pandemic.” Stated hotel Indigo Nashville Downtown Director of Sales, Gina Westbury. “It is also the first race as NASCAR returns to Nashville Motor Speedway since 2011. We are excited the city will be thriving with fans.”

Long before downtown Nashville was filled with the twang of honky-tonks and the tunes of singer-songwriters, printing presses provided the soundtrack to the neighborhood. Soon after, speakeasies cemented the district’s rowdy reputation, with patron’s brown-bagging their own liquor to Printer’s Alley’s “mixing bars,” giving birth to a BYOB movement that continued after Prohibition’s repeal.

With the transformation of an early 1900’s bank, Printing meets Prohibition at Hotel Indigo Nashville Downtown, which brings the area’s past lives to the forefront of its design and artwork with a modern spin on the 161-room boutique hotel anchored by a restaurant and bar that complements traditional Southern food and drink.

The District Bar and Lounge is a popular chef driven locally sourced restaurant focused around entertainment featuring LIVE music seven nights a week located right in the lobby of the hotel.

“Traveling each weekend February to November the NASCAR schedule brings us to some amazing cities all around the United States enriched with incredible history and cuisine,” stated JAR President and Driver, Jordan Anderson. “I am excited for our team to pair with a brand that is big on local tradition and history all while providing modern accommodations to give us a sense of being right at home after being spending a long day at the track.”

In 2004, the first Hotel Indigo property opened its doors across from the Fabulous Fox Theatre in the eclectic arts and entertainment district of Midtown Atlanta. Today, hotel Indigo calls 143 culturally rich communities all over the world home, from New York to Paris, London to Shanghai, Hong Kong to Singapore— there is a hotel Indigo in all the places you’ve always wanted to visit and do business in.

This partnership is not just contained to JAR.
